Get Info replaced with Play/Pause

So, this new update moves Right-click->"Get Info" 3 rows down from where it was, to put a "Play/Pause" button.
Now I to move my mouse more every time I have to change stuff in a song. And I change a lot and it's getting annoying that it starts playing the song instead of just taking me to the Info of the song.
I don't see the point in this "feature". The pause/play button was very well placed at the top or use "space" to play/pause at anytime. And the probability of needing to Right-click anywhere and pause is less than Right-clicking on a song to edit it.
Change it back! Or give me an option to change it.

As an aside, I know this isn't addressing your issue, but another option is to press ctrl-i, rather than pulling up the context sensitive menu and selecting "Get Info". It's a keyboard shortcut which accomplishes the same thing.

Why oh why have apple moved this... now when I want to quickly edit the tag of a file I'm playing or pausing... the most infuriating thing ever, almost as bad as when they decided to leave off "group compilations" on iPod classics.

Agreed. It even is actually out of context in the right click menu, and here's why.
Example, I am playing Song A and then pause it and I want to deal with Song Z way at the bottom. If I right click Song Z and click Play, it continues playing Song A so the right click tool becomes VERY misleading.
Think about it. EVERY option in the Right-Click/Alt-Click box relates to the selected song(s) EXCEPT for the Play/Pause option. Sounds like a case of "which one of these is not like the other" you know? Therefore with the several other options of Space Bar, the Play/Pause button in the Upper Left hand corner, and the Control->PLAY, I'd say REMOVE it entirely from the right click menu since it doesn't belong.

If my phone is broken and not insured but still under one year old. Can I go to an apple store and get it replaced with a new one?

Animation couldnt control with Play pause toggle button..

I have multiple movie clip with bg sound.I have used the code AS3 for toggling the animation ( Play & Pause ).Automatically the animation starts and button also togggled on click but couldnt control the animation .
I need some solutions like when the intial stage the animation wont start etither the button click to play.After that the flow as it is in action ( ON Click ). Kindly anyone guide me to solve it. i'm very new to flash. this is my first project and ihave to finish it soon..

I'd make an appointment at your local apple store, have them check it out and see what they say. If they determine that it's a manufacturer's defect then they may replace it.
In case they do, I'd do a full sync and backup before you take it in.

Can i get a replacement if my iphones battery pack is broken?? i have never dropped my phone or anything.

"Get Info" result box

Upgraded to Snow Leopard. In the past when I would use "Get Info" and hilghted more that 10 items it would give me one Get Info box with all the size info I wanted. I just did it to 50 photos and 50 Get Info boxes came up. Pain in the ***. Does anyone know how to put it back to 10 or more, one info box.

A mov file plays in 'Get Info' preview, but not in Quicktime

I recorded a talk to web cam yesterday using Quicktime Pro and edited out the overlong pauses and fluffs to produce a series of .mov clips. Today I copied and pasted the clips into one .mov file in Quicktime Pro. The first 12 clips were fine.
The 13th clip opened as if it was audio only, but when played did not give any sound. An examination of the movie properties window showed about 3 minutes of audio and video, but neither were selected and could not be selected. When I tried to extract the video thinking I could then reassemble the file, I got a message saying that one of my raw clips was missing. The file was saved as self-contained and is about 7 MBytes. When it opens with the appearance of an audio file the last part of the clip I pasted in is highlighted as if selected; this corresponds to the file it is asking for.
Now I had deleted my raw data as my hard drive is nearly full and I was getting warnings to that effect. But as the files had been saved as self-contained rather than reference, this should surely not be a problem.
The strange thing is that if I select the .mov file and do a 'get info' then I can play the audio and video perfectly in the 'get info' preview plan, up until that final part corresponding to the missing file.
It looks like I have to do the last bit once more, but how can I keep the rest of it? I've tried deleting the final part and re-saving, but it still opens with the appearance of an audio file (which is silent when I play it). I can at least listen to what I said in the first recording, but it would be good to be able to keep the part that plays in 'get info'.
Any ideas of how I can get to it?

Solution found.
I simply created a new .mov file and changed its name to the raw file that Quicktime told me was missing when I tried to open my edited clip.
The edited clip now opens and I've been able to delete the final portion (which appears selected when the clip opens) and save the rest, which plays fine.
This seems to have been a problem because in this particular clip I left the final portion I pasted in selected when I saved the file, even though I saved is as self-contained, not a reference file.

Short pause in playback when Saving a change in Get Info

Hello,
Just upgraded to the current iTunes 8 from 4. Now whenever I save some info in the Get Info screen, +playback pauses+ for a moment as it's written. It didn't happen with the old version. An hour's Googling hasn't shown up anything, although I remember reading something about it in the past.
Anyone any idea how I avoid this problem in the current version?

Don't update info. for the currently playing track... I don't think there's much you can do apart from that, although it seems that after one edit, subsequent edits of the same track don't trigger a pause. It may also be dependant on whether the edit requires that the full track & tag be rewritten, to accomodate artwork for example, or if it can be achived by updating the header alone.

I think you will have to do a complete restore--you will lose any info added since last backup. Connect phone to computer, select it in souce list. Next, click on Summary tab, click Restore. In the next dialog box, click Restore--your phone will be erased and the latest software will be installed. Click agree to terms and phone will restart. Then you will see the phone setup screen--click on Restore from Backup and select the most recent backup. Obviously, this will only work if you have a backup on the computer. If not, check Set up as New Phone, click continue, then wait for the process to finish.
