Get internet from my blackberry bold to my tungsten E2

Could somebody tell me if there is any way to pair my blackberry bold with my tungsten E2 to get on the web... send e-mails etc....  Palm does not have a phone link for blackberry .
Thanks a lot
Post relates to: Tungsten E2

Hello Coaxial, Welcome to the Palm Community Forums!
AFAIK, there is no way to tether your E2 to a RIM device...  I've tried many times to use my wife's Pearl as a connection for my TX's (using AT&T).  The SonyEricssons I've had, Motorolas, and my Centro all work fine.
BlackBerry and LG are two phones that have little cooperation with PalmOS devices.

  • Sharing the internet from a blackberry via bluetooth?

    Hello,
I am very excited about getting a macbook pro tomorrow! I was wondering, can I share the internet from a blackberry via bluetooth? it is a 8700c blackberry.
also, how are the speakers in the macbook pro? (better than a 12" iBook?)
one last thing, I am switching from a 700MHz eMac with 512MB RAM. How much faster is the Macbook Pro than this eMac?
    Thanks,
    TheMacGuy12

last I read, it was not possible to tether from a blackberry.
I went the route of the motorola Q, and Treo 700p because of this limitation..
    *EDIT*
the $700 bounty to get this working was collected, but the person is charging $50 for the hack

  • Why can't I get internet from my AirPort Express?

I have an AirPort Express. I have three iPhones, two MacBooks, one iMac, one iPad, two Xbox 360's, a Wii and an HP printer connected to it. My dad has a toshiba laptop running windows vista and I can't get internet from it. I can connect to the AirPort Express just fine. I have exelent signal and all. But when I try to go online it says I dont have any internet. I ran the diogostics and it said theres no internet connection when clearly there is when I have all these devises connected to it without any problem at all. Can someone please help me out and tell me why and how I can fix it?

Hi - I just upgraded from an Airport Extreme to Time Capsule.  The MacBook Pros and old iBook went on the new network fine, but my Toshiba did the same thing as yours.  After hours of trying to figure out the settings myself (including reading this forum), a couple of calls to Apple and lots of troubleshooting they referred to me Toshiba.  It took two calls to Toshiba (and a $49 troubleshooting fee), but it's now working.  The second tech took over my computer remotely, deleted the old Atheros network software and did an upgrade.  It's working great now!  Good luck.

  • How do i convert my data from a blackberry bold to an iphone?

I'm going to be migrating from Blackberry Bold to iPhone 4S and I need to know what will be involved to move all my data (contacts, calendar, etc.) to the iPhone.

You are going to need to be using a supported application to manage your calendar/contacts once you get to the iPhone. It is designed to work with a number of supported applications, and Outlook is one of them. It depends on the OS platform you are using. This allows you to sync the calendar/contacts to the computer and it will then provide a copy of them for you in case you ever have a problem with the iPhone. You can also sync them to iCloud after you get to the iPhone, but initially, you will need to use something to import the calendar/contacts to the computer for that first sync.

  • I can't print from my blackberry bold to my Photosmart Premium C310a,

I tried to install the eprint app on my blackberry bold 9780 and i am unable to enter the eprint address of my printer, nor could i find my printer that is on the same wifi network. When i search for my printer on the same wireless network, it does not find it.  When i search for printers i get all fed-ex locations, when i enter the address of my printer [email protected], i get an "invalid printer" error.
Did I install the wrong app?  Is there a different free app to install.  Is there a problem with my configuration.   I can print from my apple iPad & iPhone, but i can't get the blackberry to print.
I am sure it's something simple that i am doing wronng..
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I believe the app you installed is for printing to remote printers that are registered shares such as the Fed-ex stores. This feature is for printing on the go.
Not really sure if the Blackberry can print via your wireless network, you may need to use the email feature.Don't have A BB so just a best effort.

  • Arch can't get internet from router [SOLVED *knocks on wood*]

I setup a linksys router, and it doesn't work properly with arch. I can connect to it, but there's no internet.
Other computers on the router can get internet, and windows vista on the same computer as arch can.
There is another router upstream from this one.
The new router uses a static IP, and arch uses DHCP.

  • Print to a hp8600 from a blackberry bold 9000

What is the best way to print from the blackberry

    Hello Charter,
The best way to print from your blackberry would be through the ePrint feature on your printer. In order to do this you must enable web services on your 8600 printer (You may have to disable and re-enable this if it is already enabled). After doing this you should receive a printout with instructions and a website to navigate to where you can setup an account and register your printer at eprintcenter.com. This will assign your printer its own email address that you should be able to print to from your blackberry.

  • All my photos have disappeared from my Blackberry bold 9790 and I am getting an error message! Please help!!!

I changed simcards on my phone as normal on returning from holiday and got the following message: `Built-in Media Storage not accessible due to detected errors. Do you wish to repair it now? Yes or No.When I click yes, the message is `Select the storage you want to repair` and the options are Built-in media or cancel. When clicking on built in media, the next message is `Built in media repair failed`.
It goes on to say-Repair failed. You can try to repair by mounting as a USB drive on Windows and running chkdsk or you can reformat. Do you want to reformat now?

The Q5 does, indeed, have a media card slot.  The slot marked "SD" is a media card slot.  It uses a MicroSD card, just like all other BlackBerry devices.
Yes, I'm familiar with Dropbox. On the Q5 you can set photos to automatically upload and sync with Dropbox but, depending on how many photos you take, you may need more than a free Dropbox account in order to have enough space.  A free account gives you 2GB.

  • New to DMVPN - Getting internet from Hub to Spoke

Currently setting up DMVPN Between one hub and spoke.  We use all static routing.  I successfully created the tunnel and am able to get into our internal network from the spoke lan.  However, I am unable to get any internet access.
Here's the static routing on the spoke:
    ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 <ISP Gateway of spoke>
    ip route 192.168.48.0 255.255.240.0 <Hub Tunnel IP>
In our old site-2-site scenario, we would simply point the default route to the Tunnel interface and then the traffic would flow that way and then statically route any other data we want to go elsewhere.  However, I've noticed in this scenario that is not the case.  Also, when I go to point the default route somewhere else than the ISP Gateway (even to the Hub tunnel ip), I lose all connectivity to the Hub lan.
Basically, I just need all traffic from the spoke to traverse the tunnel to the hub, where all resources and internet access will come from.  Any advice would be appreciated!

    Hi Ken,
Not a typical requirement to route 0/0 to dmvpn hub. For that you need:
    1. correct routing on spoke which will point to tunnel for 0.0.0.0/0
You can achieve that via static or dynamic routing, example:
ip route      (this to have tunnel connectivity)
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0                          (all traffic send thru tunnel)
I have never tested that scenario - but that would be my try.

  • How to get "sent from my blackberry handheld"??

I want my sent email messages to say "sent from my balckberry handheld", how do I do that?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If your email is BIS-based, IMO the easiest means is to edit your BIS config via PC and the BIS website:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
It will be available on the General Settings tab for your BIS conduit.
OR -- you can do so on the device itself. Setup > Email Settings should get you to the screen with the auto-sig.
Edit -- if your email is BES-based, from any Messages list, press the BBKey and select Options > Email Settings. The auto-sig for BES-based email is there.

  • Why is it so difficult to get an answer on how to connect a Blackberry Bold 9930 to a Windows 7 PC?

I've been jumping through hoops for days trying to get my brand new Blackberry Bold 9930 to connect to either of my two PCs. It will not connect to my new MacBook Pro or a new Windows 7 laptop. I am up to date on all software. This is very frustrating. Can anyone please help? I've read article after article and I cannot believe RIM does not post a fix for this. I've wasted hours trying to get this thing to work. It is no wonder people are moving away from Blackberry.

    Hello,
Well, it works just fine for many people...and there's no way to know, from your post, why it's not working for your specific situation...which quite naturally would preclude posting any sort of fix to your situation. From what you've said, all I can recommend is this:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Cleanly-quot-Starting-Over-quot-with-...
It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
Of course, if we could know more about what exactly is going on in your situation, we might be able to provide you with better guidance...but from a report that basically boils down to "it's not working", there's really no direction to go in seeking out help for your specific situation. Details about exactly what you try and exactly what results may be more helpful.
Also, here is the list of other troubleshooting articles...hopefully something will be useful:

Also, check that you are using only root USB ports...no hubs (sometimes the front-side ports are hubs...use a rear USB port). And make sure to try disabling USB power management in your system configuration (Device Manager).
Also check on conflicting software...it has been reported that the software package NTI Shadow&Ninja can cause a conflict; removing them and reinstalling the BB desktop software allows it to install correctly.
Apologies in advance if this is redundant -- there's no way to be sure if you've already seen and tried these. Also apologies if any are not presently available...RIM takes them up and down at will as they revise things.
    Hopefully something there is helpful!
    Good luck!
