why con people? this bs of paper free billing having a setting that can be changed, where? there isn't one!
yet again you have made a hash up of a fine piece of technology over greed, you have way too many "Pay Now" links but f'all change billing to by too many miles. further more these silly homehubs, am i supposed to laugh or use wet string? so, i ask, who can sort this mess?

It depends what you mean by "a setting that can be changed". BT's web site will very happily let you switch from paper billing to on-line billing. Going back again requires that you phone customer services.
Apart from that, do you have any specific issues, or is it just a general rant?

Each Cloud Service has the resell criteria and any training required listed on their respective Knowledge Zones. In the KZ click on the "Apply to Resell" tab and there you will find 1 steps. Step one lists all of the items that are included within that product family. Step two lists the criteria. Once you complete all the items in step two, then you select Step 3 that will walk you through the actual process to apply. As mentioned in one of the other questions here, you also need to be Gold member or higher, have an active FUDA (Full Use Distribution Agreement) and a CSDA (Cloud Services Distribution Addendum). How to get rights for customization of the SRM

Dear All,
I am trying to make some customization on the SRM system (HU5 SAP SRM 7.0) available on ESWORKPLACE.
Unfortunately I have no rights for changes, only for displaying SPRO settings.
For example I am not able to make any changes under the "Define Process Levels" for Business Process Configuration (Workflow.)
I am getting follwing message:
"only authorizes you to display data. Display locked data? "
The exact path to the customizing is following:
SAP Supplier Relationship Management->
SRM Server->
Cross-Application Basic Settings->
Business Workflow->
Process-Controlled Workflow->
Business Process Configuration->
Define Process Levels.
Can you please advice, how can I get required rights for customizing SRM system ?

Hi,
You can't change anything on HU5 system, this system is from SAP for Enterprise Service demo/exploration. You can only view data, can't change/customize it.
To do any change use your local IDES/development system.

s.th. like this. The point is I'm new to right management. But there must be s.th. like a profile with which I get the right to see all the transactions related to the img or not? Our admin is saying we have to specify which transactions we need exactly which is quiete annoying. Instead I need a possibility to say: "Give me read-rights for this profile" and I can look after the customizing myself... Is there a way???

MDM7.1 - Insufficient rights for operation

HI,
MDM version: 7.1.03.49; LDAP: Microsoft AD.
We are getting "Insufficient Rights" for operation error when developer try to modify the repository schema. Below are the steps that result in this error:
1. Connect to repository
2. Unload the repository
3. Try to add a new field to the repository
This error is intermittent and developers DO have full access in their roles. This error goes away after we unmount and remount the repository.
Our MDM server is configured for LDAP authentication.
If anyone encountered this error, can you please let me know what you've done to resolve the error?

You can download the trial version (http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html) to convert the PDF back to WORD if you do not have the original. The conversion may not be perfect, but it is typically better than starting from scratch. You may be lucky and get a good result. You might check the settings (in the save screen) to try retain format versus retain text flow. The format version can be a pain to edit since it creates a bunch of text boxes. The flow version may require you to reformat in WORD, but you likely would want to do that anyway.

Yes, annoying. A couple of options:
While it's playing the current A song, click on the H song to select it (but not double click to play it), when iTunes jumps to the second A song, press the down key and iTunes will remember that you had that H song selected and will move the selection to the second H song while the second A song is still playing. So, still jumps around, but easy to get back to where you were.
Create a new playlist for your music, right click on it, select "New Window" and you can browse your music in a second list while the first window continues to play music. But if you then start playing music in that second window, you have to go back to the first window if you want to start browsing again. Not great if you're navigating around to play the next song.
Play music from iTunes DJ, then as you're browsing around your library, you can add things to play next in DJ, and go back. You can combine this with previous suggestion, to keep DJ open in one window while you browser in the other window.
None of these are great, but maybe one of these works better than your current workflow.

You will lose the entire contents of your iDisk whether or not you migrate to MobileMe as there is no equivalent in iCloud and MobileMe will be terminated at the end of June. You will need to download any data which you don't have on your Mac already.
Snow Leopard is not compliant with iCloud and most of the facilities will not work. You can migrate from MobileMe to iCloud at http://me.com/move even with Snow Leopard: when asked to confirm that your Mac is running Lion just lie and say 'yes'. Of course you won't be able to access iCloud directly from your Mac.
If you have MobileMe mail set up to collect mail from external POP accounts you should cancel this before migrating, or you may find it still working in iCloud (where it isn't supposed to) and with no way of stopping it.
This will be the situation with Snow Leopard when you have migrated:
Your email, calendars, and 'Find my iPhone' will be migrated to iCloud. Contacts and Bookmarks cannot be migrated from a Snow Leopard Mac.
Your iDisk, together with website hosting and Gallery, will continue to work as before until next June.
Syncing of Dashboard Widgets, Dock Items and Keychains between Macs, and Mail Accounts, Mail Rules, System Preferences, Signatures & Smart Mailboxes between Macs & iOS devices, will cease altogether.
You will be able to access email and calendars on the iCloud website at http://icloud.com provided your browser is reasonably up-to-date.
You will not be able to sync contacts or bookmarks from a pre-Lion Mac.
You will be able to enter the server settings for email manually in the Mail application and access your email.
You will not be able to sync your calendars directly.
Some people have been able to set up calendar syncing by using the method detailed here - this is an unsupported hack and may not be reliable, and may stop working at some future point.
There appears to be no method of syncing contacts (though Address Book on a Mac can be synced with Google or Yahoo address books - I don't know how reliable this is).
There are a couple of third-party solutions which may be of interest.
BusyCal is an iCal-like calendar application with extra facilities: it can sync with the iCloud Calendar while running on Leopard, Snow Leopard or Lion. A single user licence (two machines allowed) is $49.99.
Soho Organizer can sync Calendars and Contacts with iCloud on Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. A single user licence (multiple machines allowed) is $99.99.

Scenario : User-A promoting the budget unit to Reviewer-A.
User-A : Have rights to enter the budget unit for the region New York.
Reviewer-A : Have rights to review the budget unit for the regions New York, California.
Doubt : If the User-A entered the budget unit for New York and it will be promoted to Reviewer-A.
When the Reviewer-A log-in to the planning unit which was promoted by User-A, by default the
Entity mentioned in the POV should be displayed as New York even though the reviewer have rights for reviewing both the region [New York, California]
Note : Once user-A promoted then I logged-in to that planning unit as a Reviewer-A, by default California was selected (instead of New York) as a Entity mentioned in the POV.

It's good to hear that your issue is progressing.
Frustrating though it is, I have a certain amount of sympathy with BT because they are totally dependent upon Openreach to handle the faults. It would be the same if your phone service was provided by Sky or anyone else. Openreach have to do the technical stuff and, from my experience, their systems do not seem to be geared up for dealng with the general public and this is why they don't care about missing appointments or just turning up on spec. They have a monopoly and can please themselves because their customer is BT and not you or me.
I find having to go through a call centre frustrating because the people you speak to are not connected at all with the people with the technical knowledge. I have been told many different tales by these people after thay have checked with the engineering department and phoned me back. I even got two completely different versions of what was happening with my phone when I disagreed with what they told me the first time and they referred it back to them again. Someone was making it up - I don't know who. Also you never talk to the same person twice. I think BT could improve this aspect although this is a common problem with large businesses these days.
I live in hope that this will be sorted out soon.

Phoenix and Firebird were what Firefox was called before Firefox was settled on in 2004, and both used "birds" as the logo. IIRC, the dinosaur was used in the Mozilla Suite.

Once I purchase a book, do I get new editions for free?

I read that once you purchase a book, you receive any updates that the author makes to this book for free.
However, I'm not sure exactly what 'updates' means. Does this just mean updates to the existing edition? Or if a new edition is released, do I get that for free?
Specifically I am thinking about a Lonely Planet Guidebook. If I buy the latest edition of Lonely Planet China now, when a new edition is released in a couple of years, do I get that update for free? Or would I have to purchase it again?
