Get mail button not working can not receive any mail

my mail stops working half way. I can sent messages but suddenly my get mail is not working anymore. not through the button and not through the mailbox menu.

Who is your ISP, how is your mail configured - POP or IMAP and do you get any error messages and if so what are they?

You should check that your settings (both directions) match this:
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 993
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 587
SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
Password: Your iCloud password
Note: If you receive errors using SSL, try using TLS instead.
Your signature says you have 10.6.8 - is this correct? If you migrated from MobileMe using this your mail settings won't be correct and you will need to follow this procedure to re-enter them:

I just upgraded to Lion today and realized I'm not receiving any mail. I can send out but not receive. I am using a POP server Road Runner acct. Any help would be appreciated.
Try Mail->Window->Connection Doctor. If there is a problem reported, try:
Open Mail->Preferences and check your settings.

I have paid my subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro but can not install it… I always get an error message …also I did not receive any instalation code...
With the subscription you sign in with your Adobe ID that you used to order the subscription. By installation code, I assume you mean serial number. You do not get one with the subscription, but use your Adobe ID.

I just got the Droid Turbo. I deleted several emails yesterday and now today, I am not receiving any. When I try to refresh, I get an internal error. I have tried turning the phone off and checked my settings as well, but still getting nothing. Any ideas??
I figured it out. Deleted and re-added the account.

I'm not receiving any mail into the Junk Mailbox

I had a problem with the ports of the 2 accounts that I have set up in Mail (one of those is mac.com) due to an excess of space used. I tried several options and it finally it worked. As a result, a week later I realised that I was not receiving any mail into the Junk Mailbox... I don't know if it is related to the orher problem, maybe not.
Essentially I am no longer receiving any junk mail at all - and no mail that is even doubtful (ie from an unknown address). The mails are not showing up even online via MobileMe ... so I have no idea where they are!

I also see that there is a place on the settings page to enter a custom notification email but that is grayed out unless I upgrade. I just want at least one, generic email to be sent to me so that I can know when a user submits a form.

My daughter downloaded a bunch of apps and I need to know how to get them reversed. I have not received any email receipts, but the charges have shown up on my bank account. This has all happened within the last couple of hours. I have tried numerous times to "report a problem" but am not having any success. Keeps redirecting me to support. Mail will not receive any messages
As of 9:30 Thursday morning, Mail will not receive any messages. I can still compose and send but incoming messages just sit on Google's server (where I've been reading and replying). Nothing was changed, Connection Doctor shows everything to be fine, I've checked and reentered passwords, quit Mail, restarted the computer, etc.
Suggestions?I tried that again, including another shut-down, and based on another link, changingthe"check for new mail" preference from "automatically" to "every 5 minutes."

I cannot send or receive text messages from other iPhone users. I don't get an error I just don't receive any messages and the other users do not receive mine.
Reset the devices: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

How large are the files? It is possible your e-mail provider has put a limit on attachments to e-mail.

More than likely, you use outlook or similar application on your computer for email and it is just not leaving a copy of the message on the mail server. -
apple keeps saying they will be sending a verification email (so i can verify my apple id), but i'm not receiving any. i cannot use my apple id, because it has not been verified yet; and i can't verify because i'm not receiving any mail from them! what do i do? pls help.
