Get message about SD Card Removed

I continually receive a message about my SD card being removed. When looking in phone storage the SD card info shows as unavailable. The card is good and can be read in windows without any trouble, but the phone keeps throwing that message alert at times. To stop it i remove the SD card and battery then it goes away for a day or two. Running version 2.3.4 of Android. Any ideas on what can be done to resolve this?

brett22 - SD cards can be tricky, but they should never do a disappearing act from your phone, where it says it is unavailable. The direct cause could honestly be anything. My recommendation would be since your pc/laptop can read your card properly, I would first backup your SD card's content in your pc's hard drive. Next, I would place the card back in your phone in order to erase the card. This can be performed by going to Settings>SD & Phone Storage>Erase SD Card (You may need to unmount the card if the SD card was instantly mounted, in order to erase its contents.)
From there, I would connect it back to your computer in order to copy your content back to your SD card. Once you complete the transfer, place it back in your phone, and see how it performs now.
You shouldn't have to, but if it does not mount automatically, simply go back to SD & Phone Storage to mount the card.

I am getting messages about unauthorized vendor trying to update my firefox

I keep getting a message about an unauthorized vendor trying to update my firefox. I have recently updated to the latest version. My firefox seems to be working fine otherwise. After I deny the update, I have to reload the firefox page because it says something about bing. I do not like bing. What am I doing wrong?

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I think I have the latest Firefox version, but keep getting messages about updating it. 1 says something is preventing Firefox from updating securely; another says something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an unsecure update. What's going on?

The 1st message goes on to say, "Please make sure that you have the latest version of Firefox from http://www.firefox.com." Assuming 4.0.1 is the latest version, it seems this is a bogus message and I haven't clicked on the link.
The 2nd message goes on to say something like, "if this continues [the attempt to trick Firefox into accepting an unsecure update], contact your network administrator."
I started getting the messages on all 4 of our PC's (2 desktops running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 1 running XP 32-bit, & a laptop running Vista Home Basic 64-bit) after updating to Firefox 4.0 on them. I manually updated to 4.0.1 on all thinking that would stop the messages, but it hasn't.
I loaded & ran free versions of McAfee Stinger, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Super Anti-Spyware programs on all our PCs; each program found & repaired some infected files on each computer, but the messages continue on all.

Apparently this occurs when Firefox has problems with security certificates. There have been a few questions about this. I will try to get advice about this.
Apparently you are using Internet Explorer 9 (From your system details). Do you have Google Updater plugin installed on Firefox ?
(That been implicated in this sort of problem by one poster, and some users with the problem do have Google Updater, but some do not)

Get Message no airport card installed

I transported my Macbook and when I set it up again it does not connect to the Internet and i get the message "No airport card installed". Does this mean the airport card needs replacing?
It also does not read a USB stick.

It may be a physical problem with the card or it's connections but try a System Management Controller reset first. Instructions are here .

I'm having a similar issue. My airport card was working fine and then, hours later - it does not recognize it on my new MacBook pro. Not sure what is up here ...anyone from Apple able to solve this one?

Are you getting messages that you have authorized other computers for your iTunes when you haven't? I only use iTunes on one computer and I just got a message confirming that I have authorized another computer when I haven't. I cannot find a way to turn the other authorization off as I did not do it in the first place.

Same thing is happening to me. I only have one computer (a MacBook) authorized with iTunes. Today, the drive crashed and I had to repair it and now iTunes indicates I have 2 computers authorized on my account. I followed the Knowledge Base article to deauthorize and reauthorize, it still shows 2 computers. This is really frustrating me!

Getting message about having LR5 already open SO I need to know how to get my pictures back-after export.

I have been working on photo's and doing the export the laptop freezes up on me, so I have to shut down everything and re-open. When I go to open LR5 back up I get an error message saying that there is LR already open and that I have to open a new folder - Since I have editing all (about 900 pictures) - is there a way of getting those back Instead of having to RE-DO all of them. Which is what I am **** right now and it is VERY hard for me.
I would Love to get a answer on how I can get the photo's back instead of having to re-do all of them again. THIS has happening a few times to me now and I don't like it.

okay Error message is as follows - pop up window has confirm on the top of
it. The lightroom catalog named "Lightroom 6 Catalog" cannot be opened
because another applications already has it opened. Button Choose a

After official upgrade to 10.2.1 get message that media card is encrypted on another device

I got a message a few hours ago that there is an update available to my Z10 STL100-1, running on Orange.
I never did a leaked update always waited to get the notification for the official ones.
I have always had my media card (micros sd) encrypted from the beginning and ran through at least 2-3 updates untill now.
After todays update to 10.2.1.537 was finished and rebooted, I got the message that my media card was encrypted in another device and in order to use it I have to go to settings and wipe/format it.
I tried copying the files to PC but they will not open.
Please help, I have some very important photos and files on that card that I need to get back.
How could they do this to me ?

When i start ifind i get message about load error. i click reload option and icloud main screen opens ifind shows a map that is misaligned. phone shows several blocks away. can play sound thru ifind and acess info on phone. all os upto date. any idea

I hit ifind and phone shows up on a misaligned map and is shown several blocks from actual location. tried daughters phone and map shows up inaccurate for hers also. I have 4s she has 5c all ios on phones are updated . I can get phone to sound and access data such as contacts, calendars. the problem with bad map and message that there is a problem on starting. previously the map had no problems and location was accurate to within a short distance.

I posted here because, to be honest, for a company that's acknowledged their installers and updaters and support needs some work, they seem very determined to obfuscate the means by which users can provide direct feedback to the company. Much like you, I've also noticed a trend in CS5 installations that mirrors the issues that were present in CS4. it's a sad state of affairs.
As for my installation, you are also quite right to say that a clean install would have been a lot faster than what I went through with TS and it was actually my first idea. Before calling TS I'd actually read through the forums and noticed that a large number of users who were faced with my situation had no other choice but to reformat. I was just giving Adobe the benefit of the doubt and wasted 2 and a half weeks through that course of action...
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the installer failed on a fresh system. It was a custom-built design machine, assembled and configured by myself. The only software that had been installed on it prior to Design Premium was Firefox, an FTP client and the start of my problems, trial versions of various CS4 programs. I used trials just long enough to retire the previous design computer so that I wouldn't contravene the EULA's stipulation of not running more than one instance of software at the same time on different machines. Turns out being honest once again penalised a legal customer.
If there is just thing users should learn from my far from unique tale of failed tech support it's that if you ever run into a problem with the installation, don't bother calling TS, just reformat and start from scratch. It might seem like it'll take longer to get going again, but in actuality, it's the opposite. Reformatting means you'll be up and running in about 1 or 2 days rather than 2 weeks.

[SOLVED] Console gets message about mei_me timeout every 5 seconds

I was just trying to install Arch to an HP Compaq DC 7800 machine, so I downloaded the ISO image (2013.08.01) and booted the system with the cd. However, my console gets spammed every 5 seconds or so with messages like:
[65.456035] mei_me 0000:00:03.0: reset: connect/disconnect timeout.
I tried to boot with kernel option 'quiet', but that only suppressed normal messages, not the error. The only thing I could find what comes close to my problem, was this Ubuntu bug, but it turned out that it was something built in the kernel. However, I don't have access to the kernel on the installation cd. (Also, it looks like 'mei' has something to do with wifi, which isn't present in the machine.)
Do you know a kernel command line option or some other solution to get rid of the message? Thanks in advance.

Instead of pressing F10 for entering the BIOS setup, you can press Ctrl+P for entering the Management Extension BIOS.
This also works even if Ctrl+P is not shown on the screen. It worked for my DC8700. Besides that, I think you can activate the Ctrl+P hint in the BIOS (Advanced->Power-On Options->MEBx Setup Prompt).
By the way, the default password for the Management Extension BIOS is "admin".
I didn't have a deeper look into the Management Extension BIOS, I'm just fine with the removal of the kernel module :-)

Have used 1 computer to sync my iphone 5 but today I get message about itunes erasing everything because I am synced with other library. what's up with that?

My Toshiba Satellite is all I have ever used to sync my iPhone 5. I don't know what is going on today but iTunes seems to think I am "synced" with another computer. I have a couple of hours of voice memos that I would hate to lose but iTunes asks if I want to "erase and sync with this Itunes library". If it weren't for the voice memos I'd do it since all the other data is stored in itunes. What can I do? I've restarted both devices thinking it might help with no luck. Is there a way to remove the memos without itunes. The smallest memo is about 45 min long on up to 2 hrs +.
