What you are saying does not make sense. You redeem a card once, that's it. It doesn't matter what device you are using, as long as it's using the same account, you will get the reminder of your store credits.

I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!!

The ipod is not a backup/storage device.
You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one.
The Apple store will do this for you, you can call apple support and they will help you, you can use google.

How do I recover a download I saved but will not open so that it opens?

I downloaded a file from my yahoo mail messages yesterday that appeared as "read-only" so I went through the trouble of right-clicking the file in the containing folder and unchecking the "read only" and spent 2 hours adding writing to the document because it's a story I'm working on and saved it to my documents on my laptop but today the file cannot be found on my computer but shows up still in my download folder. However, when I click on the file to open the containing folder, it WILL NOT OPEN. I need to know how I can recover the version of the document that I saved after working on it for TWO HOURS so that the work is NOT Lost Forever! Please help me recover the lost work version and to OPEN IT successfully.

Watch your attitude about what ''you think'' is helpful and what isn't. You screwed up by unlocking that file, and then not saving it properly after you edited that file. We're just trying to help you.
If you can't open the "containing folder" from the downloads window, that file isn't where Firefox expects it to be - it was moved or it is gone.

You said that you downloaded a "word document", Firefox won't display that type of file much less allow the user to edit a "word document". You would need Microsoft Word or something similar like Open Office to edit that type of file type. So the program that you used to edit that downloaded file is the place to start looking for a backup of that file, assuming the timed backup feature in that program is activated.

Firefox 4.0 will not open at all. It shows that the process is running in the task manager but will not open the window even after closing the prcess and restarting.

I have had firefox since an earlier 2. version and have been able to upgrade as normal. After the installation is done it will not open at all. I have restarted and even uninstalled all previous version .exe and still nothing. I am using windows 7 OS. I am still running 3.6.8 and would love to see the new one running on my laptop.

Successfully downloaded a program, but will not run once installed.

I am not as Mac savvy as I should be so I apologize if my computer terminology is not up to snuff.
I have never had problems downloading programs, installing them, and running them in the past. The last successful program was Amazon MP3 Downloader. Today I attempted to download Plex. It downloaded successfully. I dragged the icon to my applications folder. When I went to click on the icon for the program to run, it appeared in the dock for a second (did not bounce at all) then disappeared. I tried the process a few more times and yielded the same results. I also tried to download a few other programs just to make sure it was not Plex in particular, and the same thing occurred. Any suggestions?

The same thing happened to my daughter on her Mac the other day. It turned out that the program she'd downloaded wasn't compatible with her OS. Did you make sure you'd downloaded a version that is compatible with Tiger?

Many thanks for your reply, the machine was bought from Currys the 3.6 download warns you it will only be supported for a short time, and recommends downloading ver 7, I am unfamiliar with the workings of Linux but the machine has been good, there must be a solution, no problem if we have to pay for the upgrade.
