The music on my iPad, after loading the new operating system, is out of number order on all albums. Why? Ho do I fix this?

How to get ipod/iPad Model Number(Order number) programatically?

I need to obtain the model number listed in the about section Eg. MC540HN programatically.
Tried out getting it using IOKit framework but could retrive only first 5 digits i.e "MC540".
Can anyone help me out.

Tracks in Order

Listening to music it doesn't matter what order the songs fell in for the most part, But audio books it really does, why is it that itunes thinks that track 10 should come right after 1 instead of 9, this has me very frustrated. Please help!

Because it's using a sort method that doen't interpret numbers. Use the track number to arrange the order in iTunes and then sort on a column such as Album by Artist than also forces track number ordering.

That won't help the OP if the book is made up of a number of chapters and it gets worse if you want to put more than one audiobook on the iPod at the same time. The audiobooks section will just list each file in the order of the track name without regard to album names or track numbers. The tracks get interleaved and out of order.
The problem is that the Audiobooks feature was originally designed for books that have been stitched up into a single file and hasn't been updated to reflect the changes that make multi-track audiobooks easy to work with in iTunes. There are tools for creating iPod-friendly audiobooks for which Aldo on Audiobooks is probably the best reference. Personally I haven't bothered to make the extra effort and just have an "Audiobooks" playlist folder containing sub-folders for each author and within these playlists for each audiobook. I still mark the files as audiobooks in iTunes as this separates them from the main music folder.

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

Go to the Apple Store webpage and in the upper right go to Account and select Track an Order. There you will find the status of your order. You only get a tracking order when the items ships.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Is there any specific settings to check.
I Have created one PO, In Item level I can see tracking number *******. could any one of you tell me where does the system pick the tracking number from?

I Can not see the default value button anywhere.
I need to get the Tracking number in PO.
However when I am trying with different vendor with Pur. Org I am able to get the Tracking number in the PO but I am unable to get the Tracking number with other Vendor and Purch. org combination.
Is there any specific settings to exist the tracking number.

for everyone that says your order has been shiped, but has no tracking information...... Do me a favor.. at the top of the screen right under the My Verizon link (you can do this on any website no need to leave this page) there is a button that says Check My Order Status
the link is in blue... click on that link, then type in your order information there..... dont go to the iphone splash page and type it there, if you type it where I am telling you to type it... this should give you a tracking number....

Does anyone aware of the settings to be done to get tracking number (e.g tracking number given by DHL, Carrier Company) displayed on sales order line item.
Following steps has been followed, but we can not see the tracking number at the line item level:
Tracking the Shipping Status
You can enable customers to track the shipping status of their Web shop orders using an external shipping provider. If the external shipping agency offers shipping information on the Internet, customers can access the shipping status directly via a hyperlink from the order. This enables customers to track their delivery during the shipping process.
Prerequisites
u2022     Your appointed haulage firm offers the shipping status tracking service.
u2022     The haulage firm has assigned a bill of lading for each order and informed you of it.
Activities
1.     Call transaction VL03N in the ERP system.
2.     Choose Display <-> Change.
3.     Choose   Goto Header Partners . Enter the data of the corresponding carrier.
4.     Choose Shipment. In BillOfLad, enter the tracking number.

Most of the settings that are required to display the tracking number in the web shop are ECC dependent. The function module that gets the tracking related information in the Run Time is CRM_ISA_BASKET_STATUS_ENH.
In the above function module at line number 383 contains the relevant logic to get the tracking related information from the ECC system. At this line number the function module BAPI_XSI_GET_VTRK_G is called remotely in ECC.

Play music: correct track order

Dear,
I'm new here...I recently bought a macbook and I'm really very satisfied with it. Just a few points that are still unclear to me since I've always worked with Windows. But I must say, macintosh is way easier and faster!
Now, when I import music into the Itunes library (without copying) I want the tracks to be in the same trackorder as in the file I've saved them. I mean, I've saved my tracks with a number in the filename, eg. 001-trackname.mp3,
002-trackname.mp3,etc...Now, when I select them all in the finder and open thel with Itunes, the tracks will be played in alphabetical order, and that order is made up by the trackname in de ID3 information.
How can I set up the library so that it will order my tracks according to their filename?

There are albums who have the correct tracknumbers already
Make sure you run the scripts on only the songs that do not have the track numbers.
Create new playlist called No track numbers (or something).
Control click on the Column header and tick Track number then sort on this.
Select all the songs with nothing in this column and drag to this new playlist.
You could use this one first -> Filenames to Song Names
which will copy the file name to the song name, then run the other.
But before you go any further, quit iTunes and make a copy of the iTunes library file located in the iTunes folder and move it somewhere.
Ideally, you should make a copy of the entire iTunes folder first.

Ordered 9/3 got tracking number today

Ordered my Droid X on the 3rd of September with a ship date of 9/20 and just got my tracking number and says it will be here by 4:30 tomorrow.
Looks like Verizon is getting the phones out quicker then expected.

I ordered on August 27, with a ship date of September 10, and have yet to receive a shipping notice (though I did get a confirmation email). When I log in to check my order status, it still shows it as scheduled for shipment on September 10. I'm excited to have a new phone, but I think I'm going to wait until the 10th before I start getting worried.

I bought an iMac exactly a week ago (Monday 23rd July) from the reseller my girlfriend works for. I managed to get everything at cost price and bought it under my company so I could write the tax off, all up managed to get $1100 off the retail price. Deal. My girlfriend gave me the order number that was sent to the reseller she works for so I could track it on the order status website, which I did. It's showing that it was shipped on the 25th July, however. There has been no tracking number update, and no carier update either. So I was curious as to whether apple even worries about updating these because it was probably ordered with a whole bunch of stuff, so to track it would mean having to track the whole shipping container etc..? Am I on the right track? Or should I be worried as to why there hasn't been an update?

HI trent, not sure, but I suspect they don't provide any Reseller Tracking, only the Reseller would/could.

Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.
(A different rep I talked to said all iphone 6 plus pre orders had a ship date of October, all of them - I asked what Verizon is going to do when they advertised iphone 6 plus for 9/19 delivery and your telling me they never had any available - at this point he transferred me... *****)
