HELP! i backed up my iPhone to icloud then had to get a new iPhone today. I have a video of my family that was backed up but when i got my new phone the photos were there but not the video. So how do i get this from icloud back to my computer or iphone.

You should call Apple Support and give them your Apple ID so that they can verify how many photos you actually do have backed up in iCloud...
Also, are you able to do an iTunes backup at all? Because that would save all of the photos and allow you to get them onto the new device.

Lots of folks fix these kinds of issues with a simple restart of the phone. Others require a Reset of the phone.

So i have photo stream on, on my IPhone and im signed in on my icloud in my browser BUT photo scream doesnt come up as an option for me. when i acess icloud from my PC the photos download to my PC.

Photos are included in the phone's backup. So if you did a backup before the upgrade (which happens automatically) they should be restored when the backup is restored. If you don't have a backup you are out of luck.

How to get missing songs from old phone

Hello all,
I recently broke my iphone and I just received a new one in the mail the other day. I created a backup in itunes and used that backup to restore my new phone. However, when my new phone was finished restoring I was missing about 1000 songs. Without starting over what is the best way to get the missing music from my old phone to the new one? Can I load itunes on another computer and then sync my music from my old phone and then just copy the library to itunes on my main computer? Thanks for any help.

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

You have to reset the device to Factory Settings in order to restore it from an iCloud backup. You probably want to back it up as is before you do this.
To do the reset after you have backed up the current device, go to Settings>Reset>Reset all Content & Settings. This will erase the device. If you are signed onto iCloud with Find My iPhone turned on, go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom to sign out of iCloud before you do the reset.
Once you have reset your device, you will set it up like a new phone. When it asks if you want to restore it from an iCloud backup, select the backup you want to restore it from.

You can't. iCloud is not for general file backup from a Mac. It's for backup up and syncing data between mobile devices and and Macs and The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: Backup and restore overview.

What is backed up

With iOS 8, how do I delete photos from my phone BUT still have them in my iCloud and view them from my phone?

Hello all!
Before iOS 8, we had two separate photo albums - Photo Stream (for iCloud) and Camera Roll (for photos on your iPhone).
When you took a photo, the photo went into both albums. This was handy, as when i found my memory running low, I could delete photos from my Camera Roll, yet they will still be on my Photo Stream.
However, with the iOS 8 update, apparently they thought this was too confusing for everyone and therefore have merged it all into the collections/moments photo viewer.
So, my question is, is there a way that I can delete photos from my phone without deleting them from my iCloud, seeing as they are merged into one?

The easiest way I find to remove a few songs for the nano is to go into Ipod preferences and select "only sync checked songs" and the uncheck songs you don't want. You could only sync certain playlists but that takes some work setting up. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/ipgettingstartedt2.html
