GET Payroll in logical data should be used or not?

Hi All,
Should we be using the GET payroll to fetch the payroll results using the logical database PNP?
As the GET PAYROLL is not supported by the logical data base PNPCE.
I know 2 ways of fetching the payroll data.
1) using the function modules
2) using the GET payroll.
Please suggest the best possible way along with the reasons.

Yes, it's seems like a poor design decision.
By putting the date on the line below the Note title in the Notes Index, the app shows half the number of notes per page AND if you have a large number of notes, it takes twice as long to stroll down.
I doubt the designer actually uses the app.

Hiding dynamic selections which is default if Logical Data Bases is used

Am making use of PNP logical data base in my report .On the selection screen there is a default icon with text dynamic selections is visible besides the execute icon.Can please anyone tell me how to hide this,i have gone through the DBPNPSEL include but was not able to find the solution for the same.

Create your own report catogory
Goto --> Attributes --> Report Catogory
with all the fields that you require
That will solve your problem

I Don't understand personal hotspot. Is there times to use and not use it?

Personal hotspot is a way to use the cellular data connection on your iPhone to allow a computer that does not have an internet connection to have access to the internet. It is a good way to use up huge amounts of cellular data and is only supported or possible if your cellular plan allows it.
There is something similar where a computer that has an internet connection can share that connection -- but I'm not sure that is what you are asking about.
Normally you don't need to manually turn cellular data usage off. The iPhone is designed to automatically use wi-fi when it is connected and to automatically switch to cellular data if wi-fi is not connected.
If you are asking about text messaging:
1) iMessage -- only to another iPhone or Apple device that has iMessage turned on and you also need iMessage turned on. It will use internet if you have it, your cellular data plan if you do not have wi-fi connection
2) regular texts. They don't use wi-fi but they also don't count against your cellular data usage. They count against your plans text allowance.
3) 3rd party apps such as WhatsApp -- you would need to investigate them yourself

So I have to know the screen width of mobile for drawing a rectangle.

Problems with logical data service

This is related to thread 837141 (Problems creating physical data service to relational table)
I have been able to create the logical data service that uses the physical service (mentioned above).
However when I try to create a library function to update (shown below)

functions, by definition, do not have side-effects. So calling something that had a side-effect (procedure) is not allowed.

after i use filterFunction to filter data of some

Data load buffer [1] does not exist error when loading cube

Hello
I'm trying to load data using Essbase Studio. Everything was working fine, the load used to occur very quickly.
After updating the SQL query to load a larger period ( 5 years instead of 2 ), the load fails after exactly 10 minutes ! I'm wondering if there's a timeout configuration or something similar in Essbase because I have other cubes that has large queries that are stopping after exactly 10 minutes.
The environment is:
Essbase 11.1.2.1 on Linux 64 bits
Data source: Oracle 10r2 database

I am getting the Information message "Data selection procedure 400 could not find any data " while doing the Result recording of a inspection lot
Inspection lot status :- REL CALC
Inspection lot Origin :- 04 GR from production order
No user status active
This message i am getting in some inspection lot only
Kindly help me to understand the possible resaon for this message

u r using any copy inspection result like of thing, if not than please provide the Mssg number. and possible than check ur plan properly.
F9 i have checked, this prblm occurs when u using the Copy inspecttion result during RR in QA32, ma suggesstion is to checck ur config "Copy inspection results" in SPRO properly against inspection type "04", and than check ur qaulity plan, than execute it will resolve.

Essbase Error - 1270040 Data load buffer [2] does not exist

When building dimension for ASO cube, it keeps giving me this error message. Do I need to activate or increase the Data Load Buffer when building dimenions manually (not using MaxL)? It allows me to build part of the dimensions using about 100 records from the load file, but once the record number increases it gives out this error and shows the dimension build error. Appreciate any help!!!

But in BI i am not getting mltipal hierarchies it coming under "CRMMKTROOT" during extraction not on the save of promotion.
Appreciate if you please help me on this issue.

CUCM 9.1 in VirtualBox - The hardware you are using is not supported for this product

I'm trying to load CUCM licensed through my work onto an oracle VirtualBox running linux redhat, and its unpacking linux fine onto the vbox, and passes the hardware test on boot but when it goes to load I'm getting the error "The hardware you are using is not supported for this product."
I have dedicated to the VM:
4GB ram
4 CPU's (tried 2 and 4)
80GB Hard Drive
What in the world could be jamming this up? Anyone else ever run this or know what the deal is?
