Get Public Calendar from Exchange
The "experts" said it can't be done, but we downloaded Add2Exchange from diditbetter.com and set up syncing relationships between our Private calendars and our Public calendar, where all our corporate appointments are kept. Now our Public info syncs with our iPhones. GREAT STUFF! You also can use the software to sync Private/Public Contacts and Tasks.
We are in our 21-day trial period, but it looks like we will be purchasing this Exchange add-in. If you need iPhone access to your Public folders, have your Exchange Administrator look into the program.
Just thought I'd share this for those who want to know how to sync with Public folders.
BTW, I have hated the iPhone since getting it last year, but the 2.0 software has significantly changed my opinion. It's pretty darned cool stuff now.
Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to add a public folder outlook calendar to a SharePoint site.
I recommend to overlay an Exchange calendar on a SharePoint calendar.
There are two articles for your reference, although it is about the SharePoint 2010, it still works for SharePoint 2013.
Overlay a SharePoint calendar with a calendar from Exchange or SharePoint
SharePoint and Exchange Calendar together
In addition, you can manually drag and drop the appointment from your personal calendar to the SharePoint calendar.

Hi guys,
I am developing an integration with EWS based on php. I am using a library I found https://github.com/jamesiarmes/php-ews
In my case users have various calendars hanging from the root, I get access to the default calendar by this:
$request->ParentFolderIds->DistinguishedFolderId->Id = EWSType_DistinguishedFolderIdNameType::CALENDAR;
$response = $ews->FindFolder($request);
I also get access to shared calendars by this:
$request->ParentFolderIds->DistinguishedFolderId->Id = EWSType_DistinguishedFolderIdNameType::PUBLIC_FOLDERS_ROOT;
$response = $ews->FindFolder($request);
But I am getting crazy to get all calendars hanging from the root. If I asked for all folders on the root I don't get those calendars. What service and params do I need to send to get all calendars from the root?
Thanks!!If you make a FindFolder Request set the Traversal to Deep and use a restriction on the FolderClass to IPF.Appointment that should return all the Calendar folders in a mailbox eg

Will CF9 cfexchangecalendar access public calendars in Exchange Server 2007?
We need to create something in CF9 that will allow us to access public calendars in Exchange Server 2007. I've Googled it but only come up with dead ends. Any help would be appreciated.
I ran into the same situation recently, and found out that you need to make sure InternalClientsRequireSSL is set to false.
To verify: Run Get-OutlookAnywhere | fl Identity, *ssl
If it is true, try setting it to false.

please find how to move public folders on ttp://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2013/migration-deployment/migrating-public-folders-exchange-2013-part1.html
You can replace your servers names and follow exactly the proedure that is shown there. I strongly suggest to read also the 2nd page (replication) before you start. Please be aware of
Set-OrganizationConfig –PublicFoldersLockedForMigration $True , so you cannot change the source side whle migrating.

Manually Move Public Folders from Exchange 2010 to 2013
Hi all,
I have a issue to finishing my migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013, I have been trying to migrate my Public folders but always after a couple hours, the migration state is failed.
The final error is the following:
FailureCode : -2146233088
FailureType : SourceMailboxAlreadyBeingMovedPermanentException
FailureSide :
Message : Error: Couldn't switch the mailbox into Sync Source mode.
This could be because of one of the following reasons:
Another administrator is currently moving
the mailbox.
The mailbox is locked.
The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication
service (MRS) doesn't have the correct
permissions.
Network errors are preventing MRS from cleanly
closing its session with the
Mailbox server. If this is the case, MRS may continue
to encounter this error for
up to 2 hours - this duration is controlled by the TCP
KeepAlive settings on the
Mailbox server.
Wait for the mailbox to be released before attempting
to move this mailbox again.
So, after seeing this I started to monitoring all process and I realized that after creating hierarchy the process start to fail and keep in StalledDueMailboxlock status, and the error is:
FailureCode :
FailureType :
FailureSide :
Message : Informational: The request has been temporarily postponed because the mailbox is
locked. The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service
will attempt to continue
processing the request after 2/14/2015 12:38:20 PM.
Finally, digging more into reports of migration I found this:

So, would like to know if exist any procedure to migrate/move my Public Folders from Exchange 2010 to 2013 manually, something like Export/Import.
Regards! What script and process you are running to migrate the Public Folders?
And what do you mean by Manually?

Bug iCal and Exchange 2007 - try to get shared calendars from colleagues...
When I go to options --> accounts --> delegate, iCal comes with an error (94)
Here I can't find any option to ask my colleagues' permission to view their calendar.
I now added one person, and since then iCal crashes when I click the delegate tab. The person is not to be found in the list, but that could be because the app freezes instantly.
When I restart iCal it starts opening the calendar of my colleague (which doesn't work, because permission is not granted). My calendar is not shown on startup (VERY annoying!!!)
What to do to get my calendar back??
And how do I get rid of the crash? On that tab is also the button located to grant my colleagues permission to my calendar, and that I need to click... but iCal freezesI was so excited when work finally upgraded our Macs to Snow Leopard hoping I was getting off of Entourage for good and yet, here I am again, needing it because this doesn't work for me.
This means I still need Entourage to see my boss' calendar.
Please fix this. -

PF DB is arounf 90 GB with alot of public folders and sub-folders. around 60 mail PF and too many subfolders.First and the most important thing you need to do is, upgrade exchange 2010 to SP2 and RU5.
Exchange 2010 RTM support is long gone.

ICal and access to Public Calendars on Exchange
Dear all
I've been reading as much as I can on this subject, and all I've found so far is that it works, but you need Exchange 2007 and SP2. Well, I've finally been able to upgrade my exchange 2007 server to SP2, but now I can't find any documentation on how you actually access those public calendars.
By public calendars, I mean that calendars stored in the Public Folders tree on the exchange server, not calendars associated with a mailbox or resource mailbox.
Things I've tried,
- Subscribing to the calendar using the OWA web address of the calendar - failed
- Setting up delegate access, but only mailbox calendars are shown - failed
- Tried removing and recreating my Mail/iCal/Address book settings in Snow Leopard, no change - failed
I hope I'm just missing something, and that this is actually possible to do.
Thanks in advance for any help.Same problem here. I previously used Entourage (2004) and had access to the public calendar (we'll call it "Jumper"), but I get an error when trying to connect to Jumper in iCal. When I try to connect I get "The server responded with an error: There was an unexpected error with the request (domain EWSExchangeWebServicesErrorDomain / error 94)." I notice when I go to the "Window" menu there are several listings of Jumper (I'm assuming each failed attempt created a window). Selecting those windows opens a blank calendar with Jumper listed in the left column and the exclamation point next to it. Clicking the exclamation point brings up the message "iCal can't refresh the account 'Jumper'." I'd hate to go back to Entourage as well, especially since the version our company provides is PPC based.
I'm not sure, but it could be in my case it's because the host of the public calendar may still be in the old email server (2003). They had to move my account over to the 2007 server in order for iCal to work with it. Don't know if this helps anyone else, but I'm going to request that the host be moved to the 2007 server and see what happens. I'll report back on my findings. -
Delegate calendars from exchange in Calendar
Dear All,
I'm having this strange issue since upgrading to Mountain Lion. I see all calendars from my delegates (via an exchange server) in my calendar screen. I can unselect my own calendar in the menu and my appointements would disapear, but I can't unselect all my delegates calendars - all of their appointements are permanently visible. With 8 calendars permanently visible - I can't see my own appointements.
The interesting thing is, these get only updated when I open a delegate's calendar via "Window - name of delegate". A second window pops-up with that calendar only, and the data is added to my main screen. Drives me crazy - this used to work perfectly under Lion.
The Apple support desks claims it's normal...
Anybody here has the same issue?
Thanks!Hi All,
This solved my issue (and maybe yours).
Went to calendar preferences, Accounts, selected the exchange account, hit the tab "delegation" and selected show for all of them.
Even though they were all showing already, I now could unselect them in the "calendar list" and they would disapear.
Hope this makes sense.
Yeay...

Getting a calendar from one Mac to another
Hello,
I created a calendar on my MacBook (iPhoto 7.1.1) which I ordered as a Christmas present for someone and am very pleased with the results. I want to get that calendar file to show up on my G5 upstairs, which has iPhoto 6.0.6. I exported it from my MacBook as a pdf which I can see on my G5 (I have a home network) but can't figure out how to import it so that it shows up in the left pane (Source) in iPhoto on the G5.
The goal is to both just see it (I have a 22" Samsung) which I can do via the pdf, and also to be able to open the file and work on it and order a better calendar. Thanks for any ideas.Dave B.
You cannot do this, I'm afraid.
A calendar (or book) is simply an entry in the library database. To move it to another machine you'll need to move the entire library - or at least the library with all the pics that you want to use. However this won't work for you because the machine you want to move it to has v6 on it and it will not open a v7 library.

I have a public work calendar that I wish to share with colleagues in the office. No issues for those having a Mac or an iPhone, but how can I share the calendar with Outlook for Windows users?
Thanks for the help!Hello ramirofromstrockholm,
The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.

How do I get my calendar from Microsoft exchange to update multiple devices?
Help how do I get my new iPad mini to update my calendar on my iPhone and iPad thru the exchange server?
Just set up your Exchange account on your iPad, making sure you turn on the Calendar option, and it should sync automatically.
