Get Report by e-mail

Hi there, I followed every step as indicated by 'captivate_5_help'. I managed to go throught the quiz on the web server till the results. But it failed to submitt the report by email when I click the 'Send e-mail' button.
Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. The link suggested using LMS. I've set up using alternative scoring but I'm encountering another error. I have 8 questions for the quiz and anwered all questions, but it was indicated under the 'Total Skipped' column. There's '0' value under the 'Total Question Answered', 'Total Correct' and 'Total Incorrect'.
Its frustrating, nothing seems to be working in captivate.

I had solved the issue by having two separate blocks for processing based on mode of execution.
Background:
    1. Initiate spool
    2. Write the summary
    3. Close spool, build PDF and mail the same.
Foreground:
   1. Initiate spool
    2. Write the summary
    3. Close spool, build PDF and mail the same.
   Write summary again (for display on screen).

How can I Get report of Automated jobs in mail.Like particular datafile is out of space.

The easiest way is to setup OEM monitoring. There are plenty of tools out there that do the same job, but if you don't want to buy software then there are also plenty of places on the web where you can download Oracle monitoring scripts.
I do not recommend downloading other people's scripts. If you write your own scripts to select from the data dictionary you will learn a lot about the database and about scripting.

Well, distribution groups don't really have a concept of "in" or "out". They only serve to distribute messages sent to them -- unless you're asking to know who was a member of the distribution group at the time a message was sent to the DL.
Message tracking logs hold the information you want, though. You'd have to look for EXPAND events that reference the distribution group and take the sender's e-mail address from that event. If the DL is a simple one that's not a member of any other groups
you could also look for RECEIVE events sent to the e-mail address of the group and get the sender's name from that event.
You can use Powershell extract the rows of data from the logs, but you'll have to write the code to get the data out of those rows and into a format you want. Perhaps LogParser could be useful in place of Powershell?

I had an ALV Report. I want to send this report output to patricular email id every day ! Presenty i do this manually. I run the report and send the output to the particular email address. Now i want to schecule the report daily in background and the out put of the report should be mailed to particular email ids in background itself. How can i do this ?

For this requirement you will have to write another program.
This program will convert the spool requests into PDF document and sends an email to the recipients that you specify.

Alternatively, u can do this Send a report with all the report names on one side and another side link to that particular report.If any one click on that link means it will open the report(pdf/html/excel) format by referring to the url.we will get this by using RTF Template.

The 24in is the best choice for graphics work because it enables all those palettes to be left open without interfering with your main project window. Spaces is great for designers too -- I have Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro and QuarkXpress permanently open with all palettes blazing, each in a different virtual desktop. Initially you feel guilty about such unashamed luxury but now I cannot imagine how I could ever go back to the dark ages.
But there is a price to pay: reading text at the default size and resolution on a 24in screen can be a strain and I frequently have to increase the text size in Safari, Mail and Word in order to read and type (or use the Alt+scroll wheel to zoom in the entire screen).
Reflections are not a problem for me as there are no windows behind me - but some folk don't have a choice as to where to place their iMac so reflections have caused problems for some. I can't even see my own reflection in the screen unless it is switched off.

Question on "Get Reporting Statistic" and If statement issue

I worked up a "Get Reporting Statistic" in my script that looks for agents that are in the Not Ready state.
Report Object:    CSQ IPCC Express
Field:     Not Ready Resources
Row Identifier:    Queue_Name
Result Statistic:    Not_Ready_Resources
I have an If then statement:
If(Not_Ready_Resources <1) then
True - go to a prompt
False - go to the queue
It seems like this is behaving backwards. When I am logged in on my agent it seems to follow the True step which it should go to the queue. When I am logged out it goes to the false step, to the queue.
Any thoughs on why it would behave backwards?

Apologies, replying via the email interface is a bit annoying.
Your code is a tad confusing to begin with. Why are you checking to see if there are people in the not ready state before trying to queue?
Instead a cleaner flow would simply queue first, play the prompt and any other actions in the queue step. This way your person is immediately placed in the queue and if someone is available they go straight to them otherwise they will hear your prompt. If I am understanding your code properly, the if statement is unnecessary.
Regardless, why are you checking for agents not ready? (I'm honestly curious). Is there something more specific that needs to happen if an agent is not ready? Otherwise, your flow should be checking for Agents in the ready state

We are talking about the Mail app, right? In the Mail menubar, click on Window and then Previous Recipients:
That eliminates the previous recipients. If you are talking about the suggestions because there are 10 people with the name 'Steve' in your Contacts, then I do not know how to eliminate those unless you change the name slightly or wait until you type the last name or some other differentiator.

How do I get all the e-mail addresses alphabeticall when I want to send rather than all of them in no order

Before this new version of Thunderbird, when I typed in the first letter of an e-mail address, it would display all the e-mail address starting with that letter and I could pick the address which I wanted. Now, when I type in the first letter of an e-mail address I get all the e-mail addresses in my address book in no particular order and I wind up with all the e-mail addresses in my 'write' command. If you pick the one you want to send, you invariably wind up with addresses you don't want in your 'to' box. Is there some way I can get back to the old system which was a lot easier and less frustrating than the new version that just seems to defy common sense and reasoning and is very inconvenient as it takes forever to get the e-mail address right that you want to send your message to?
