Get rid hover border

I customized the style of the scrollbar following mainly this article.
However on the increment/decrement button I get a border when hovering over it. How can I remove this effect?

Having a style definition for hover has no effect. What I have seen with ScenicView is that on the Region underlying the button a DropShadow effect is defined. Might that be the cause?

I think the shadow is there all the time. In modena.css, I can see those two definitions:

I haven't tried but I guess those are the ones you need to override (as opposed to -fx-border-style).

Can't get rid of border in database layout

I am creating labels from a database for the Cub Scouts. The database field is surrounded by a thin black border. I can change the thickness of the border, but I cannot get rid of it with the "no line" option. Is it possible?

The border around field frames in Layout is to let you see where they are, a very useful feature. The same borders also appear in Browse for individual fields when you place the insertion point in the field. This is also useful, as it initially shows what part of the field contents will be visible when the insertion point is NOT in the field.

How to get rid of border in the RowSetBrowser

I use the RowSetBrowser object with rounded corners option switched off like this:
RowSetBrowser.setUseRoundedCorners(false);
This creates the web page where the records are shown within the table with ugly border.
How to get rid of this table border ?
I have not found any relevant method in the class oracle.jbo.html.databeans.RowSetBrowser.

Loading an iframe in Edge, can't get rid of border

The iframed flipbook does not have a border outside of Edge. Changing the height in Edge moves the border.
I am using this

WebElements Can't get rid of border inside iFrame when CR report is loaded

I am runing reports from the CR Crystal report 2008 view that launches from Infoview and I can't get rid of a border that is in the inside of the iframe when the iframe has a CR loaded within it . (I uploaded screenshots here... https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/ideas/4288)
The issue isn't with the iFrame itself. When I just throw an WEIframe on a CR report, I can control the frameborder by modifiying the WEIFRAME function's frameborder setting, toggling it on and off and it looks great.
Where I am having problems is when I put load a CR report inside of an iFrame. I changed the ReportMode to weblayout, I've made the report margins to be zero, removed the scrollbars and menubar. Still, I get that pesky inside border.
I've changed the opendoc sReportMode to Weblayout, gotten rid of preview panel, margins in my CR report, removed toolbar and menu bar from the reports and iframe
Today, we went into our BO Server, found every instance of OpenDocument.jsp and added the frameborder ="0" parameter at the bottom of the script to the iframe definition.
After the changes my BOE Admin restarted the Apache webservices.
Is there something else that needs to be re-deployed or re-started??

Hopefully my post will help you help other people having this issue.
Yes, as it turns out, this issue was not related to WebElements, but was an issue with the CR Viewer.
The KB that Ludek referred me to did have code to add to the web.config, but it didn't do a thing.
Ultimately, I found reference to this ussue bug #ADAPT01417734. A fix was first bundled in fix pack 3.1, but it wasn't completely fixed until SP 4.0. (Known Limitations: There will still be a 1 pixel wide border around the viewer even though the toolbar and drilldown tabs are hidden. The fix for the 1 pixel border will be delivered in Service Pack 4.)
Our server is BOXI R3 FP 2.6 and applying service packs is, in itself, a pain and a risk and requires a testing effort that we couldn't afford right now.
So, I patched my own local instance of CR 2008 to SP4.0 and then pulled the files that were identified as 'fixed' according to the release notes to my BO Server and put them in the correct destination folders:

OK, it's a hack, but once I did that, ALL of the gray borders around my weIframes went away!! I can still control a nice little border via the frameborder attribute in the weIframe ()

Can't Get rid of border around images??

every time i drag and drop an image into my background in dreamweaver it creates two white lines around the border of the image to let me know the images place, how do I erase these white lines?
The image and the background are both black and the white lines detract from the simplicity of the elements used...

The primary image that I'm concerned with is a jpg file, 74kb, 642x402. Also used same image at 53kb, 400x249.
Here's some good info.
I tried using same image on an old Pages document I made last yr - No border. And - I used an image from the old flyer and put it on the current flyer and - got a Border.
A difference: the flyer I used last yr was a blank document - no template. The current flyer I'm working on is one I chose from the templates with the tear-offs at the bottom for name and phone number.
Is there something intrinsic with this template that creates a border around images?
How do I do a screensnap? If you still need.

How to get rid of the black border around the artboard

Hopefully my last question for tonight.
I need to get rid of the black border around the artboard. The two images show my drawing lined up with the art board and then inside the artboard. The dark gray is not the artboard.
As you see, the artboard has a black border. I need to get rid of it. It shows up in my project when my color key is green. The black won't go to transparent.
So how-to get rid of the border? Thanks

I figured it out. View > Hide Artboards. Maybe this will help someone. Doesn't change the fact my spider looks like a tick:)

How do I get rid of the hover description on the taskbar? Like when you hover over Firefox and it shows the title of the website you're on. It gets in the way of gaming.

I'm a gamer and I play in windowed mode, and every now and then this gets in my way of playing. It's super annoying and I have to either close out Firefox or move my taskbar to the top, which isn't optimal.
I'd like to be able to play in windowed mode, with a browser open if I so need, without accidently hovering over it and causing this stupid tooltip to block the spells I need to use.

I use Windows 7.
I've disabled the thumbnail previews.
All other taskbar icons have the registry edit that extends hover time so that I have to hover for a long time for it to display, so it's fine.
I've tried the Firefox about:config where I disable the browser.chrome thingy and those things related to that.
Is there any way to get rid of this display that when you hover over the web browser it tells you the name of the page you're on?

Wade, it hit me when you asked "why is it a png" file and I realized that I was using the wrong file. Sometimes its hard to see the forest for the trees! Problem for banner artwork fixed and I have now used the correct logo file so no more dotted line.
The dotted line only appears on the the png version of the logo. There's no coloured background on the logo file. She gave me the file as both an eps and a png file. I'm pretty sure she created the logo in Illustrator. I've been using the png file for the website, which is what I thought it worked well for. And the eps one for my print materials.
I have no clue why I grabbed the png instead of the eps logo file I usually use, but thanks for pointing out the obvious since I wasted time trying to fix it and was getting very frustrated at what had suddenly gone "wrong".
I still have that dotted line on the png file of the logo but I'll have to figure that out another day.

How do I get rid of the white border that prints on my pictures?

Lightroom 2 - Windows 7 64-bit - Nikon D700
I have just downloaded my Lightroom software to my new computer which runs Windows 7. I had lightroom on my old Vista computer and just had to change the border size to remove it from my pictures, however, for some reason it will not let me remove it anymore. When I try to adjust the border size it states it cannot be smaller than .2. Therefore, I have a white border around all my pictures I am printing. HELP! How do I get rid of this border. Thank you so much for the help.

Make sure you select a borderless papersize in the page setup. That will allow Lightroom to set the margins to zero. Otherwise it sets it to the minumum value the printer tells Lightroom it can print at at the current print size. Your printer and driver need to support borderless printing for this to work.

Because the table containing the GIF has a border. In your

stylesheet, the rule:

adds a border to the table. Delete the rule. Of course - that
may affect
other things that use the .border class. Or - delete the
class from the

How to get rid of shadowed border around screen on MacBook Pro?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of this shadowed border on the screen of my macbook pro. I think my young daughter made it appear when she was striking various keys at random on my computer when I was not there. The cursor does not work when its over the shadow (i.e. will not depress the red 'x' button to exit a window and I have to drag window out from under shadow to close it).
It also appears in the middle of screen when airplay is turned on. (See screen shots below)
I have been unable to find any other discussion on this issue.

That border is from Exposé with Show Desktop enabled (F11).

When a JRadioButton is selected, can you get rid of that text outline border?

Nvm again, figured it out, the boolean setFocusable method is what controls it.
