Get rid of the white space at the top and bottom of the report when Printing as PDF document

Hello All,
I have a wider tablix report which is 29 inches wide. I have given the paper size as custom and width as 29 and height as 11 in report properties.I have deployed it and saved it as PDF document. When I print preview the report I am using the paper size as
tabloid (17 by 11) and selected the orientation as Landscape. I am getting the full report without any stripping but I am getting some extra space at the top and bottom when I print the report. Can anyone help me how to get rid of this space? . I checked the
margins for the report and it was 0in. Please help.

In Reporting Services (SSRS 2008), there are white spaces preserved in the report body by default. When the white space extends the body size beyond the width of the report, blank pages will be generated. To avoid the issue, you can set the “ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace”
property of the report to “True”.
Please try to adjust your margins (top + side) and hopefully this problem will get resolved
Body Width <= Page Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin)
Horizontal usable area:
X = Page.Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin + Column Spacing)
Vertical usable area:
Y = Page.Height - (Top Margin + Bottom Margin + Header Height + Footer Height)
Body Width <= Page Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin)
Horizontal usable area:
X = Page.Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin + Column Spacing)
Vertical usable area:
Y = Page.Height - (Top Margin + Bottom Margin + Header Height + Footer Height)

To remove the spacing in top and bottom of XML report while printing

Hi,
I have developed the RTF template having page size(Page Setup->Page Size) as Custom Size(Width:19" and height:9.01").When I try to run the report thorugh the APPS,there is lot of spacing included at top and bottom of the page.This is mainly due to printer page size as A4.
Due to the report layout,I cannot change to A4 which will make the report layout clumsy.
Is there any kind of apps page setup to be done which will relate pagesize CUSTOM to A4.

Are you saying that once the document is printed ou get the space? If you run to PDF and view it with Reader then the paper size is correct?
If so then you need to set up a prt file to specify the custom paper size. I suspect you are pushing it thru a regular A4 driver and its being resized for the paper.
Writing print files is a little bit of an art form but check out the 'SysAdmin guide and the pasta guide for some further help.

White space connected from top to bottom

I have a white space from top to bottom, but it does not reach the bottom at the Iphone-view. How can I fix this, I want the white space always form top to bottom.

OK that makes more sense. Vertical sounded like the 11" direction and it is hard to imagine a defect that would cause a repeating issue in that direction.
For this case I would suggest the troubleshooting steps shown here.

Using my ipad 3, with ios 6.0, I can access the itunes store and app store by pressing the icons, but the screens are all blank pages, I have tool bars at the top and bottom of the viewing screen, but when I touch the individual tabs, the viewing screen is either white or dark grey...nothing else appears. Ghosting from top and bottom of the workspace edges when moving around workspace?

When I move around the workspace dark grey slightly transparent bars appear to be ghosting from the top and bottom of the workspace. If I move so they go off screen they disappear but more are made as I move around. Tried restarting Illustrator and my laptop, I have the newest version of Illustrator CC.
*Update - It appears to only happen in my one file, when an image I'm drawing over is put on a lower opacity. If I have it opaque there's no weird line ghosting, but as soon as I make it more transparent the lines start appearing.

All I am doing is the following:
import my mov file that is 1024 x 820
create a sequence that is 1024 x 768
export the sequence
I made a video showing the steps (very boring, sorry).
I'm sure there is something simple I'm missing. i'm 99% sure my result is wrong from the looks of it in the movie player.

I have an 11" Macbook Air. When I use Garageband it opens in a window so large that the bottom corner is not accessible so I can't decrease the window so that I can see the top and bottom of the window at the same time. Any suggestions?

You can reduce the window by grabbing any edge or corner. You don't have to use the bottom right anymore.
You could also temporarily move the dock to the left/right so you can reach the bottom.

Getting rid of extra white space/margins on the left & right

Hi. I have two problems.
1.) When I create a Muse template at 1024 px wide, the document creates extra margins of about 150-200 pixels on the left and right. No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of this. I have set margins to "0" as well. I need the website I created to be at 100% width, no white space around.
2.) My images are not importing correctly. When I place an image, for example, my home page background image, which is sized at 1024 px wide - the same as the document width, it does not import at that size. Images are coming in about half the size, even though I'm positive the images are sized correctly, as I designed it in photoshop to the exact dimensions that I wanted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1.) Muse does not generate responsive layout, so when you create a Muse template at 1024 px wide (assuming center aligned in browser), you end up with page 1024px wide and showing some space on either side to show you how the browser screen beyond 1024px would look like (in case the browser screen is wider than 1024px. That is not part of the actual page width. You can customize that using the Browser Fill option in the Control Strip.
2.) It appears that you have Resolution set to HiDPI (2x) in File > Site Properties > Content tab. This would actually use the original size of the images on Retina displays and half the size in both dimensions on normal displays.

Right above my footer and right below my main content on the page is a large white gap that takes over..how do i get rid of it?

Your main content bg is white so its hard to tell what space is extra space.
If you check your site in ie7 it stretches to about 3 times its normal length

How do I get rid of the white space between my header and my spry navigation bar?

I have been grappling with a problem for the past 2 days and cannot seem to work my way around it. I have been working on a page in dreamweaver cs4 that seems to have whitespace between the header and my spry menu bar ONLY in Firefox. Google Chrome and Safari show it correctly. Can't get rid of unwanted white space

I'm trying to delete what looks like four lines of extra space within a paragraph. I've tried the GREP for multiple returns, trailing white space, leading white space, and nothing seems to work. I've attached a screenshot. Can someone tell me what is going on??

This is not the only sentence affected. Please help if there

How do you make the Safari menu bars at the top and bottom of the browser go away in iOS7 when you can't scroll the screen?

The menu bar at the bottom of Safari screens only goes away if you scroll the screen. But for one page content, the screen can't be scrolled which renders useless any links/buttons at the bottom of the page.
Is there a fix for this in iOS7?
In iOS6, users needed only to tap the screen to remove the Safari menu bars. This does not work in iOS6.

In Safari > View choose Exit Full Screen

Aspect Ratio Problem (black bars on top and bottom in the preview window)

I have iMovie 08 and I have been shooting video on my new Canon HF100. It appears that in iMovie preview window my 1920x1080 (and even the ones I bring in in 960x540) videos appear to be in wrong aspect ratio - they are stretched beyond 16:9 ratio horizontally. The problem persists if I export the movie through Quicktime - the videos are still stretched. In the preview window in iMovie I have the right 16:9 box but it has black bars on to and the bottom. The clips themselves in the time line seem to be the correct aspect ratio.

Also I have found this on the export video screen which narrows it down a bit...
Here's how the source tab of that screen looks...
compared to the output tab, with the black bars that are my issue...
So where did I go wrong here?

My new ipodtouch 4.3.2 does not show the complete symbol bar at top and bottom,the whole page is shifted to one side -edges of keyboard missing so I cannot type .gadget is 1 mo old, fine till now...

I sounds like you may have turn on the Zoom setting for accessibility. Tap the screen with three fingers and it should go to normal. Then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off. You can also turn it of by connecting it to your computer and going to the Summary Pane and go to Universal Access and turn Zoom off.

3055 when printing pdf the text is full of symbols and rubbish. No problems when printing Word

I have a HP Laserjet 3055 and when printing pdf, the text is full of symbols and rubbish.
I use Adobe 8.0 and never had problems before. Who can help me, this is driving me crazy! Printing Word is okay.
