Get server with Windows Server 2012 R2 or wait for Windows Server "10"?

We are looking to get a new server this year but with Windows 10 coming out shortly/this year, wouldnt it be better to wait until Windows Server "10" is released THEN get the server?

W2008R2: still access my server with ssl2 after I have disabled ssl2 for client/server and enable ssl3

I have a W2008 R2 server detected by Nessus vulnerability scan as using ssl2.
After I edit my registry as below and reboot. I try using Internet Explorer, and tick only SSL2 (uncheck all SSL3 and TLS)
I can still access my server port 443 with SSL2. That port is used by customer's custom web application.
Can the web application still using ssl2 as its secure connection after we have disabled it in OS level?

I noticed that the guidance is for SBS. You can recover the registry key if you have a backup. I suppose you should have a backup.

Install SQL Express With MDT 2012 now or wait for SCCM and full SQL Server?

We are planning to get SCCM 2012 R2 in several months and it will come with SQL Server 2012 when it is installed and configured at that time.
If we would like to start experimenting with using a database in MDT 2012 now, can we go ahead and set up a database in SQL Express and start using it for deployments now or should we wait for SQL server?
Can the database created in standalone MDT 2012 with SQL Express be migrated to SQL Server 2012 and SCCM 2012R2 or would we need to start over with a new database when we get SQL Server and SCCM?

Using SQL Express should be fine. You can export the database from there and import it into a full SQL Server install later if you want to preserve the content.

Reviewing Windows NT Rights and Privileges Granted for SQL Server Service Accounts

Hi Folks,
I am an experienced .NET apps developer who has been tasked with writing a bunch of technical controls for all the SQL Server instances on a domain.
So for the last month I have been diving in the deep end learning Powershell, dba and infrastructure tasks. This is still a work in progress, so be kind to me.. ;o)
So the task I am stuck on is described in the section on 'Reviewing Windows NT Rights and Privileges Granted for SQL Server Service Accounts' http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143504(v=sql.105).aspx
I have not been able to find cmdlets that gives me this information. I have found some exes which come frustratingly close like NTRights.exe. This lets me specify a computer name which is great, but only seems to let you set or deny permissions, not just
list them!
Any help with this would be very much appreciated as I am firmly stuck. As per comments above also bear in mind that up until around 1.5 months ago I had never used powershell / knew very much at all about SQL server admin etc. Feeling much more comfortable
with them now, but much less so with Active Directory/ windows permission structures etc so please can I ask anyone kind enough to reply to try and keep the acronyms down as much as humanly possible.. ;o)

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

If your budget is unlimited, look at both the retina and non-retina and make a decision based on your preferences. If funds are tight, explore the options in the refurbished section. Unless you are dealing with courses that demand specific performance parameters, any one of these options will suffice.

Adobe Pro XI install: Timeout waiting for window to load

Installed fine on my work computer yesterday (subscription). Trying to download and install at home from the website and getting "Timeout waiting for window to load". I've tried IE, Chrome and Firefox. I do have a Pro 8 installed here, but don't want to chuck it until I know XI is going to install - not sure I know where that disk is any longer.

Seems to be a network issue here.
Please try downloading the file ( Download Acrobat products | 9, 8 ) from any other network, (may be your work computer network) and save the setup file to a flash drive.
Connect the flash drive to the home computer and try installing.

HT1212 I found an iphone over one year ago. Its locked with a passcode. I kept waiting for the owner to call it. They never did. I went to ATT store today, they put a new sim card in it. but now itunes needs the passcode to reset it to factory settings.

Sounds like you may be the owner of a new phone! If you don't need or want it and no one claims it you probably can sell it. Check eBay to see what the going rate is.
