please can you show me how to collect informations from some JComponents like JComboBox, JList , JTextField, JTextArea etc and store them on clicking on a single button and also retreiving them by clicking on another single button

below are some functions that u can use:
JComboBox: getSelectedItem()
JList: getSelectedValue()
JTextField, JTextArea: getText()
basically u need to have button, add an action listener for the button, and store the value using the above functions when the button is clicked.

Hi am having two List boxes in a jsp page.. By default i will give set of values to one List box and then i will move some value from one list box to another list box.. Why do you need to use cookies in your case? A session attribute would be more reliable.

Using keys to search and retrieve values from HashMap

I've been fiddling around with this problem for a while and can't seem to find any working solution. What I have is a method that I want to return all values from a HashMap, but instead of using the regular keys for a HashMap (0, 1, 2, 3), my keys are different numbers such as 51414, 62513, etc.

What I need is to get the Keys from myCars and use them to return all Car objects. The HashMap API has something called KeySet() which I think could help me, but I can't get that working.

It all depends on how much you put in.
A clean efficient app will leave more space left over. Its been years since I wrota an app that did that on a FP-2000 but I seem te rember having enough memory left over to buffer a weeks worth of data provided the sample rate is kept low enough and updates are limited by dead-bands.
I think that's all I can say to try and help for now.

Get old and new values from DBTABLOG table

Hi,
I am developing a report to display all changes to some fields of PKHD table over a date range. CDHDR & CDPOS do not capture the changes while DBTABLOG does. But the variable key field (LOGDATA) in DBTABLOG does hold encrypted values which need to be decrypted. Is there any FM or a way out to get them ?

In our SRM - Bid invitation process we had specifics process, mailing and forum which are developed in WebDynpro ABAP . i used fileUpload ui element for upload documents, i succeeded to send as email's attachment. But persistence is required.
so i need to store document (front end server or ECC), generate an url for link this document, and display this url in my WebDynpro view (users can retrieve document)
SCMS_* function module are maybe a clue, other solution could be better etc...
please provide me any idea, sample code, anything else.

Getting Problem in retrieving values from JTable

Hi Guys,
Suppose i clicked in cell in a table to edit it and done some entry in it and without leaving that cell ( means focus is on that cell only) i clicked one button.
button prints table data on console.
now problem is the value in focused cell is coming as null or wht i previously return.
that means unless i m not leaving a cell the Jtable is not taking that value.
how could i overcome this problem

hi, can you retrieve the chinese character from your os? When it comes to the wild code of asian character, you should focus on the database/client character setting. you may ask more about it from your dba.

The thing we are trying to do is that when a user is logged in the particular servlet which is responsible for the authentiacation of the user will authenticate the user an then calls method in the Chatter class which is outside the servlet
The Chatter class declares two mwthods addChatter() and getChatter()
I am managing the currently logged users in Arraylist using this two mehtods above
When the first user logs in his entry gets stored at the first position in the arraylist but when other user logs in then his entry overrites the entry of the first user instead of getting stored in the next position.
The arraylist gets initialized when second user logs in. to overcome this problem i want to store the arraylist into the ServletContext so it will be unique for the whole application and will not get initialized
So I want to know the process of storing and retrieving the arraylist fro the context
