Hi Friends,
I have a requirement in which I have to Get the values from Day 1 of the Month.
Ex : If I enter 19 - 07 - 2007.......the report should display Values from 01 - 07 - 2007.
How to Code ?
Please provide the Code.

Get highest value from 1 of the tables in a join between 2 tables
Hi,
i want to join 2 table:
- SALES
- MATERIAL
These table are joined by:
- Material ID
- Sales date -> start date
The problem is that it could be that 1 sales can have 2 records in material, but what i need to have is the latest record from material (highest date sequence number in material table)
I tried to aggregate and then put a max on sequence number, but that's not going to work. Does anyone have an idea how to get the highest number within a join?

Join it back first to your material and then to your sales table,
And also if you are in a SCD2, you can also simply made a simple select on the boolean column or on the end date.

Getting rpm values from the fans on the MSI NEO2-FIR motherboard doesn't work
I currently have 6 Noctua NF-S12-1200 120mm fans spinning in my computer but i am unable to get rpm values from them except the cpu-fan. It doesn't work to get a readout from the others with either, BIOS, Dual Core Center or Speedfan. Regarding Speedfan is it true it don't support the SuperIO Chip on the Neo2, the FINTEK F71882F? It's not currently listed in their supported temperature sensors list.
So whats the problem? Shouldn't atleast DualCore Center atleast show the rpm's from the other chassis fans?
Or the fans don't support sensor readings?

Well, there is nothing that can be done about. SysFAN 1 & 4 support sensor readings, #2,#3 and #5 don't. You can also see that in BIOS Setup. #1 are the only ones that show up there (H/W Monitor section). This is not a malfunction or a bug. You have to live with no fan sensor readings or be creative about the wiring.
The problem is that i use the UNLA cables from Noctua which half the speed of the NF-S12 fans i run with. And it blocks the rpm readouts in Speedfan and BIOS.

Strange thing is that the CPU fan reads fine with the ULNA cable attached but the SYSFANS will not read the rpm with the ULNA cables.

Error while fetching the values from database
hiii all,
I have a dynpro project where i am using JDBC codes to fetch data from tables. I have used 2SQL queries...in the first query i am fetching values from 2tables and taking the result from this i run another query.As a result i expect 19591 records as the output....
1)when i put while loop for 19000, 19000records are being within 1min.....
2)when i put while loop for 20000, exception is thrown as :
ArrayIndexOutOfboundsException : size:19591,i:19591
i is variable for while loop
3)when i dont put any condition for while loop, itz taking unlimited time and output is not displayed....

How to get the values from table SKB1 R/3 to SRM

My requirement is to get all the values from the table SKB1 to SRM (i.e. in to an internal table) for doing some validation(G/L account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO objectXXXXXX.)
Like wise I have many tables for doing validation in SRM
Help me how to get this, suggest me any Function module with sample code.
OR
Any Standard FM which will give all the values of the fields in the table SKB1 when I pass the key fields G/L account & company code alone so that I can improve the performance.

I want to get the details from popup window.
i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)

Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

Lets say the item that i selected from the list is 'Xplace' and I clicked on the Select District button,
what I got is this error message:

Are you certain this: dbaseInfo.getcurrentDistrictID(nstate,vselectedDistrict);
expects a Vector as its second parameter? And returns a Vector?
I don't believe you've shown how you use the javabean, or its code? Perhaps it should be rewritten to accept an array of strings instead of a Vector? -

I have coded like this.

if I see the links.length i get only one. In html If I see the code
it appends the TileIndex in brackets. If I replace the TileIndex with
0 in all the fields in endCbSystemUrl method I get the correct values.
In the TiledView beginDisplay() method my code is like this.

Remember, the getValues() method does not return the values from a column in
a TiledView. It is strictly for use by fields that can have multiple
values, like multi-select list boxes.
DO NOT remove the indexing feature from the field names, especially in the
case of checkboxes, because checkboxes aren't submitted back to the server
unless they are checked. By overriding the automatic checkbox tracking
feature JATO provides, you won't be able to tell which checkboxes were
actually checked by row--you'll simply get back a list the same size as the
number of checkboxes that were checked, without any placeholders for the
ones that weren't checked.
Instead, on submit, you simply need to move through the tiledView and check
the value of checkbox on each row:

You can use the same construct to build up an array or list:

Use NVL or COALESCE:
NVL (col_a, col_b)
Returns col_a if col_a is not NULL; otherwise, it returns col_b.
Col_a and col_b must have similar (if not identical) datatypes; for example, if col_a is a DATE, then col_b can be another DATE or it can be a TIMESTAMP, but it can't be a VARCHAR2.

NullPointerException - Cannot get the value from variable f_cashGiven
In SubCheckout.java (a POS), what I want is when Payment button (f_cashPayment) is pressed, the action "Cash" is performed, get the value from Cash Given (f_cashGiven), do the subtraction and post the value as Cash Return (f_cashReturn). The code is filled in actionPerformed. But I cannot get the value by using f_cashGiven.getValue() from VNumber class. It returns NULL. This should be quite straight forward, but I do not know what is wrong. Please help!

This method looks complex - a lot of if statements. If you do not have a debugger, put System.out.println statements inside the method to figure out what's going on.

Swing: when trying to get the values from a JTable inside an event handler
Hi,
I am trying to write a graphical interface to compute the Gauss Elimination procedure for solving linear systems. The class for computing the output of a linear system already works fine on console mode, but I am fighting a little bit to make it work with Swing.
I put two buttons (plus labels) and a JTextField . The buttons have the following role:
One of them gets the value from the JTextField and it will be used to the system dimension. The other should compute the solution. I also added a JTable so that the user can type the values in the screen.
So whenever the user hits the button Dimensiona the program should retrieve the values from the table cells and pass them to a 2D Array. However, the program throws a NullPointerException when I try to
do it. I have put the code for copying this Matrix inside a method and I call it from the inner class event handler.

I am using a form with enctype="multipart/form-data" in order to upload files from the form.
I have read this page: http://commons.apache.org/fileupload/using.html and everything works well for my form.
The only problem is that I can't get all the values from a "multiple select" html object. I get only one value.
Using servlets I have used this method:
public java.lang.String[] getParameterValues(java.lang.String name) But now I have enctype="multipart/form-data" in my form and I can't use this way...
Is there a way to get all the values of a multi-valued parameter?

You can use GetDatabankValue(HeaderName, Value) to get the value from databank and SetDataBankValue(HeaderName, Value) to set the value to databank.
You can refer to the API Reference to see list of associated functions and techniques we can use with related to Data Bank.
This is the for OFT but if you are using Open Script then you have direct access for getting the databank value but when it comes to setting a value you have to use File operation and write you own methods to do the set operation.
