Get trouble with warranty

Hi!
I bought an iPhone 5 from Apple store in the US. Then I brought it to Australia. The iPhone couldn't be turned and never been activated. I brought it to Apple store in Melbourne, Australia. The staff in Apple Store in Melbourne checked the iPhone and told me that they couldn't replace it because it was bought in the US. They also couldn't fix the iPhone for me and they guessed the falty was in the main board. Then I sent the iPhone to my friend in US for warranty.
The problem is here. The staff in apple store in the US told my friend that the battery of the iPhone and two components were replaced with new stamp so that the iPhone couldn't replaced. I guess the staff in Apple Store in Australia would did something with the iPhone.
What should I do in this situation. I am an user who just know to bring my iPhone to authorized APPLE STORE. I cannot know what they do with APPLE products when I bring it to them. You are all APPLE STORE, regardless in the US or Australia. I don't think I should be responsible for the faulty of the iPhone.
It has never been turned on and activated.
The serial number is F2********TR
I also keep the receipt of the iPhone.

You are not addressing Apple by posting in these forums as this is a user to user forum. If you wish to address Apple with the issue then give them a call on 1300 321 456.
Other then that if the iPhone will not be serviced by the stores in the US go back to the Apple Store in Melbourne and ask to speak with the manager. Inform them of the issue and see do anything to help you out in terms of getting to the bottom of where the new stamps came from.
Yes they are all Apple Stores but the iPhones are not all the same models. Try one of the options above you can only do your best to try and get the issue resolved.

  • Dissapointed with Lenovo Customer service expirience (I can't get help with warranty)

    Hello to all on forum,
    Before week ago I chat with Lenovo Support about my warrantty extension problem and Lenovo guy on chat tell me that I need to contact Lenovo via mail ([email protected]). I write mail and got automated answer that Lenovo will contact me in 24h there pass one week and I still don't get any answer (Case Number is 00930315). I am very dissapointed
    Here is copy/paste of mail which I send to Lenovo (with details of my problem):

    At day 04.04.2014 I bought warranty extension to 3 years for my Thinkpad Edge E520 from computers shop www.ventex.hr. Its employers told me that warranty registration process can took one month,  now is almost two months pass and my warranty extension still is don't visible at your system (my basic warranty expires in 26 days.
    I try to contact Lenovo in my Country on two different emails but I didn't get answer (1. [email protected] 2. [email protected] 3. on number +385 1 6386 462) so I decide to contact you in US and ask you for help.
    In attachment I send you pictures of warranty extension bill, notebook bill and picture of notebook SNs

  • Trouble with warranty registration for my Satellite A200

    I tried registering warranty for my Satellite A200 laptop online and it didn't work. I then had to send info and proof of purchase to Toshiba and still heard nothing.
    E-mailed Toshiba and still heard nothing. Issue 117 of What Laptop awarded Toshiba for best services and support. That's what swung me to buy a Toshiba.
    What service? What support? All I want to do is register my warranty. Is anybody there?

    Ive got 2 different Toshiba notebooks and I could register the warranty of all my notebooks!
    These two notebooks are Toshiba European model and I could register the warranty on the Toshiba European support page!
    If you have some problems with your registration then contact the ASP in your country and ask for the help. If they have not responded till now then contact the guys again.
    I dont know whats wrong in your case but my warranty registration went smoothly and it was not a problem!
    So contact the guys again and ask for the assistance! It cannot be so difficult.

  • Get trouble with WS that null result with 1record in a list

    I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1, SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 and Toplink session. I created two sessions. One is to use on local server which is CISS-local (OC4J Standalone) and another one is CISS to use on a remote server. The difference between them is the CISS session (Oracle SOA Suite iAS) use oracle.toplink.transaction.oc4j.Oc4jTransactionController as the external transaction controller, but the CISS-local (OC4J Standalone) does not use that.
    Based on that, I created a web service by using a method in the facade bean. In that method I use UnitOfWork to get the result from a table.

    The query has one parameter, which is the id, it should return a list contains id and name. It is a very simple query. I get the result list size is 1, but then I try to get the value out, it shows that the value is null, even the id is null as well.
    It works fine on my local environement with the CISS-local session, but not on the remote server with CISS session. On the remote server, it works fine with the old data that has already in the database before deployed, but cannot work with the new create data. And it will work after restart the server.

    I am having trouble with app updates on my iOS 5 iPhone never getting beyond the "waiting" state. I have tried signing out/in of my account, rebooting and removing/re-installing the apps.  This started shortly after going to iOS 5 but I am not certain if that is related.  All updates that I try now are stuck in "waiting".  I also tried removing the apps and then installing via iTunes desktop sync with no improvement.  The only thing that I have not tried so far is a restore to a prior iPhone backup.  I have not been able to find anything to indciate what the updates on waiting on.  There is plenty of space on the iPhone (16gb available).  Any suggestions on what to try next?

    First thing I would recommend is to check your downloads queue to make sure there is not an interrupted download per the following Knowledge Base article:

    If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    1. From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
    2. For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
    3. Enter your account name and password if prompted.
    4. Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
    If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
    For Apps, you can also try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:

    Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
    Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
    If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

    Open the Get Info window for the old drive. Click the Lock icon on the bottom of that window and type in your password. In the permissions area click the Plus sign ( + ) and Add your Username to it and set it to Read & Write. Close that window. you should now have full access to all the files.

    There is only one thing that happens -- the Server does not respond.
    Your mac concludes that you must have entered the wrong password. That may happen once, but then other issues become more likely, and it keeps asking for a new password.
    Sometimes the Server is down for maintenance. Sometimes something is configured wrong. Some services do this on purpose to get you to use WebMail (pick up your Mail with your Browser) so they can show you some ads.

    If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

    From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
    Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

    You correct it by leaving Bridge alone until it finishes rebuilding its cache, overnight if necessary.
