Is it possible to get application version running on RT system ?.
It seems not possible to set version number , and the VI following VI doesn't work.

Do I not get full versions of the CC software when I buy a CC membership?

So I bought my CC membership back in January I think. And the first thing I did was install Premiere Pro CC. I needed it. Now about a month later, I need it again, and it says that I'm on a trial version. I signed into my CC, and tried again, but it still tells me I'm on a trial. The same thing happens with Speedgrade. Apparently after paying for 2 months of subcription, I can only use a 30 day trial version of the software I need. Is this a normal thing? Or should I call adobe, and get this fixed? I'd really really like to have working software on my computer, and I'm spending the money to have it. I'm in college, and on a pretty tight budget, so if I don't get actual versions of the software, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Nowhere on the literature on the CC does it say that you only get access to 30 day trials of most of the software. Please give me a hand here. I need to know if I should end my subscription or not.

Using patch plans for 12.1.0.2 target oracle home fails with 'PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch'

We are attempting to use patch plan to apply PSU and one-offs to a new 12.1.0.2 database oracle home. Our EM version is 12.1.0.4.
We are experiencing the same issue described in ''Bug 20271609 : Unable to get the version of OPatch". This bug is closed as 'duplicate bug to filer' but we do not appear to have visibility into what patch/bug fixes the issue.
Description from the above mentioned bug is our same issue. We do not have this issue when we use patch plans against an 11.2.x oracle_home target. It is unique to 12.1.0.2 oracle_home target.
Description from the bug:
The Plan failed in step "Run Prerequisite Checks" with the following errors:
PREREQ_NAME: Minimum Version of OPatch
PREREQ_DESC: Check if the required version of OPatch is present on the target
PREREQ_TYPE: PATCH_TOOL_CHECK

We have opened an SR to see if we can get more info on what was already identified as a bug. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, can you share any patches or workarounds (other than manually applying patches) that you found useful?

You'll probably get the same info from Support, but the workaround is to use the Patch Database (however that doesn't work if there's no DB target associated to that home). If you were trying to do patchign out of place (clone home, patch, then move db's), EM can do this for you. If you're just installing a new DB Home and trying to patch, then i don' think there's another workaround. The base bug is marked fixed though, so a backport for the 12.1.0.6 plugin should be available very soon. I would ask the support analyst to request the backport for your plugin/patch level...

How to get the Version History of a stored document?

I am trying to store and retrieve the content using Content Services features of ADEP 10.0.
I am able to store and retrieve content where as I am not able to get the version of the document. I am trying to store same or different document, but I donot get the version history or version label. Please guide me how I can get the version of a stored document.
Also, please advise me if there are simple alternative to do the same in ADEP10.

For such situation, I'd suggest the following:
1. Remove current installed office with the fix-it tool in
KB2739501, and follow the "Remove Office manually" section to make sure there are no remaining files
2. Either download a trial version of Office 2013 from
http://office.microsoft.com/, or from
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/jj937170
3. Reboot your computer in clean boot mode, and run setup again

How can I get a version of Final Cut Pro X that works on OS Mountain Lion?

I just downgraded my laptop to its original OS (Lion) and will be upgrading soon to Mountain Lion because this laptop is too old to work with Mavericks or Yosemeti. So far Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor (which I had originally purchased when I first bought the computer) do not work. Will Final Cut Pro X work on Mountain Lion? If not, what can I do to get a version that will work?

10.0.9 is the latest version compatible with Mountain Lion. I found this article which may help you:

At the time it was written it was apparently possible to download from the app store with a computer running ML. Maybe this is still the case.
FCP 10.1. has video requirements which are not met by older machines. I'm not sue about 10.0.9 but that might possibly be a 'gotcha'
I'm a bit confused though since if you downgraded you laptop to Lion but Mountain Lion is the latest OS it will run then you must have been running ML already

I've been trying to install a new version of ITunes on my computer for over a month now with no luck. Here's the message I get every time: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32bit) or 64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
I had the previous version of ITunes on my system and it was working fine, except that is was having an issue with my DVD burner. It was a real bear to remove from my computer in order to upgrade. Now I can't get any version of ITunes to install. :-(
I am running an AMD Phenom IIX4 965 Processor, 64-bit Operating System. The original computer OS was Windows XP Professional 32-bit. I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit over a year ago and didn't have any trouble with it until this last attempted update. Help!

I have the exact same problem as well. I've been having this since I tried installing the 3.0 drivers for Bootcamp drivers. The 2.2 drivers worked perfect, and I wasn't getting this error. I'm pretty sure It's something in the drivers as well, but nailing it would be very hard. It also doesn't appear to happen to everyone with similar spec'd Macs either. It's weird. My camcorder is recognized with 4 pin to 4 pin firewire on laptop with Windows operating system; however, it will not recognize on MacBook Pro with 9pin to 4 pin firewire. JVC website does not offer any updated camcorder driver software for this camcorder and older version driver on CD will not download onto MacBook Pro.

• Test another FW-Cable very often the problem maker.
Camera
• Test Your Camera on another Mac so that DV-in still works OK
• Toggle in iMovie pref. Play-back via Camera (on <-> off some times)
• Some Cameras has a Menu where You must select DV-out to get it to work
• Camera connected to "charger" (mains adaptor) - not just on battery
• Camera set in Playback mode - NOT Recording mode

Sorry to say it is to easy to turn the 6-pin end of the FW-cable 180 deg wrong.
This is lethal to the A/D-chip in the Camera = needs an expensive repair.
(Hard to find out - else than import/export to another Mac ceased to work

• Set to same standard as recorded/editing e.g. NTSC 29.97fps or PAL 25fps

• Daisy Chaining most often doesn’t work (some unique cases - it’s the only way that work (some Canon Cameras ?))
Try to avoid connecting Camera <--> external HD <--> Mac but import directly to the Mac then move
the Movie project to dedicated external hard disk.
• FireWire-port - Can be re-setted by - Turn off Mac and disconnecting Mac from Mains/Power for 20-30 minutes

• Should be FireWire as USB/USB2 performs badly and so does Airport or Net-work connected ones too.
• MUST BE - Mac OS Extended formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - DO NOT WORK for video due to 4Gb barrier.

• Use another Mac to Capture material (to an external USB2 - Mac OS Extended formatted hard disk - or -
• Change to another Camera that can be used with Your Mac (no there are no miniDV tape Cameras that can)
• If Your Mac-Book has a PCM-CIA Card place - then there are FW-port-Cards and then
You can import via this - but I've not seen this on more modern Macs. My PowerBook G4
has one and this FW-Card-port works greatly.

• Use another Camera. There where tape play-back stations from SONY
but they costed about 2-4 times a normal miniDV Camera.

Hi Bengt W, I tried it all, but nothing worked. Your answer has been helpful insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos) to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before. Thank you. LKN 1935

under Firewire.. what do you read . . ?

Thanks for all your suggestions. What I learned is that I had a software problem. I had something called "Nikon Transfer" on my Mac that was recognizing my Canon camcorder as a still camera and was preventing iMovie from working properly. After un-installing Nikon Transfer and doing a reboot, everything worked great.
I never liked the Nikon Transfer software anyway--I guess I'll get a cheap card reader and use that to transfer photos in the future.

The problem was the external backup hard drive that is connected, you need to disconnect the external drive before the mac can see the video camera.

What I exactly did.- put camera in play mode - open guide - choose connection guide - choose comp./printer (where to transfer movie to) - select connection.- i-link (on my camera) but equal to firewire - OK - choose HDV - choose NO for conversion of i.link.
Settings are shown then (VCR HDV/DV.- HDV and i.link-conv..- OFF), press OK, OK, END.
Switch camera off. Connect firewire cable to camera & Mac. Switch camera on, in play/edit mode.
Open i-movie, choose import from camera. On screen below the camera connection is shown.- DV (HDV). Now you can import, automatically or manually.
This worked perfectly for me. Took me 2 days to find out. Could not find any clear thread explaining what I had to do on the camera and the manual was not clear either.

When you respond, please post the version of the Mac OS and the version of Safari you currently have. Otherwise, people are guessing and the quailty of help you get plummets.

I have a requirement were I have to capture the changes after file check-in and display it in the custom page.
Is there anyway to get the version changes programatically after the file has been checked-in?
Is is possible to get the current version and previous version in ItemCheckedin event
and get the version changes?

It is not like service PO does not have revision.
REVNO will only exists for any document if amendment is made after releasing it. If in EKKO for all service PO revision number is blank then test if version management is active for document type
MM->Purchasing->Version management -> External documents
Here check for your doc type and purchase org version management is active.
