I was under impression that you got the solution.
Here what you have to do to get the CRM 5.0 webshop up and running:
1. First check whether the webshop application is installed using this URl - http://your crm host name:port number/nwa. use your crm id to login. click on 'administration' and then on 'application' links. Search for something b2b*. If installed you should be able to see crm b2b components. If not found then you have to install the JCRM components. In CRM 5.0 JCRM components should get installed along with standard CRM, if selected the check box JCRM during the installation.
2. After installing these components you need to create your customer b2b scenario using XCM administration - http://your crm host:port/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do.
3. Create the webshop using webshop management
4. Create a contact person to a customer and assign a webuser id and password
5. You might also need to create and publish the catalog before log into the webshop. Otherwise hide the catalog in the shop management, so that you dodn't get the error while login

Hi Bob, thankyou very much for coming back on this. The flag is coming up towards the end of the preview process on desk top. I have made dozens if not hundreds on my two published apps on the app store, but have not done an update for nearly a year, in which time I have needed a refresher, and as usual went to Lynda. In this case I have followed to the letter your DPS course, which is great, and I found the process of making the scrolling panels somewhat easier than when I started 2-3years ago. Initially I was mystified that the flag talked about url and web content, but just put it down to something I had missed in recent improvements in CC.
I tried over and over, but always got the same result. I thought at one point it might be because the content of my slide was copy and photo, so for a test I deleted the photo. Same result, and many of my existing slides are copy and picture.
I also uninstalled Indesign CC and reinstalled in case of corrupted content, I also copied to IDML and relaunch, same problem. I am sure I have made the scrolling content as instructed, The one thing I havn't done is trash my preferences, if you think that would be a good Idea could you please direct me to some content at Lynda on how to do it in CC. If RFC for TREX is working fine and catalog replication log shows successful, clear TREX cache bfore logon to shop.
Step1: http://<ip>:<port>/b2b/admin/index.jsp
Step2: Application Cache Statistics
Step3: TREXNameServerCache
Step4: Clear
Step5: Logon to shop
Note: if you want to see the replicated product catalog data use report TREX_RFC_AE_EXAMPLE

Does anyone know the parameters to pass a user ID and password in the URL of a B2B, B2C or UCES web shop?

Suppose the URL of ur webshop is http://asdhfksldhfjsa.htm
Provide parameters and attach it to above url, ex: http://....default.htm?firstname=Joshua&lastname=Dell&website=SDN
In above URL you have 3 variables: firstname, lastname & website. These are name=value pairs separated by symbol & .

Error while opening the B2C Web Shop

Our Basis team has installed the JAVA Stack for CRM 7.0 EHP1. We can successfully open the XCM page for the web shop using the following URL: http://host:port/b2c/admin/xcm/init.do.
We get a SAP E-Commerce Error page when we try to launch the B2C Web Shop using the following URL:
http://host:port/b2c/b2c/init.do. The following error messages are shown along with a "Log On" button:
An application error occurred
A serious system error has occurred
The shoplist read from buffer is empty
Contact the administrator
Log on
I have created the Internet B2C Users& specific roles and also done the XCM Configurations (New customer configuration, General Settings & JCO Component created). Restarted the Java Application. However we still get the same error page while launching the web shop. Please help us to rectify this error.
Also I get a blank-white page when I try to open this URL for maintaining a B2C Shop: http://host:port/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?configuration.xcm=Z_MY_SCENARIO
I can successfully open the URL for SHOPADMIN XCM: http://host:port/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do
Please help us to resolve the issue. How can we maintain the SHOP? Have we missed some configurations?

I am not able to open the shopadmin URL for defining a new B2C web shop. This URL does not work : http://host:port/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?configuration.xcm=ZMY_SCENARIO. I just get a white blank page.
I can open the XCM for shopadmin using teh URL: http://host:port/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do.

Auction creation process via web shop

If any one has detail configuration guide to set up E-auction using web shop, please share documents or link.
We are looking at steps like:
How to deploy the auction application (AVW)?
How to get the XCM url and necessary steps needs to maintained?
How to get auction administrator URL?
We are able to log in to the Auction administration schedule tasks.

However, we are struggling to get into application where we can create bid invitation using seller login.

I am able to log to the shopadmin. I have created the shop id for web auction.
I tried to log in to the http://ip:port/avw/init.do to create the auction, choose web shop but i am not able to view created web shop.
Do i need to do any settings for shop to be visible in the auction screen.

Hello team,
I need to know where can I put the alert message on web shop. for example if I need to put a message regards to shop shut down for a week. This I want to highlight on web shop.

I have worked on a similar requirement where in we show that the webshop is down for maintenance.
In this case we donot give the user provision to see the login page, when the URL is given we redirect to message page.

Here in the custom action we call a FM. The FM fetches the value from a table which will decide whether or not to proceed to login page. The value in the table can be updated though a report program as and when necessary. Whenever you want to bring the shop down or make it up , just run the report and change the value in table.
I think you can use this approach even if you want to login to webshop and still show some message, just need to get the flag somewhere inside.

How to get web app root?

IF im in a servlet/jsp how do I get the web app root? for example, if my web app's url in the browser is http://www.server.com/webapp/Servlet
then "webapp" is the root... how do I get that in code? I don't want request URI or anything like that... just simply the web app root without anything else. Thanks

How to get SSO userid to URL-based app?

I'm developing a web-app using Struts that will be accessed by Portal (I guess as a URL-based app). The web-app will not require login. The web-app will not be Portal "aware", except that it requires the SSO userid for auditing/logging purposes.
I know little about Portal and SSO. How can Portal be configured to send the Portal userid of the logged-in Portal user? Can it send it as a parameter in a GET or POST?
The version of Portal will be 9.0.2 (or greater).

Problem in getting the image through URL

I facing the problem,Inwhich i am unable find the solution...I am using the following code to display the image

with the above i am not getting any error at the compile time but it was giving exception like FileNotFoundException.
but the same thing(URL address) when i am copying on the browser it was displayig the image.
(what might be the reason)
one more thing when i commented on the url address and try to use the actual realpath address it was displaying the image with out any problem
can anybody give me the solution like where to keep my images by which i can able to get the images through url address

hi all,
I am getting the image from the server.but the problem is i am getting the Exception as ArrayOutOfBound exception.
It was displaying the Image for the first time.and when ever it was going for the second time in to the paint method it was displaying the IOException in reading the stream from the connection.
can anybody give me the solution in rectifying that exception.

CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop - Duplicate check for New Customer Creation

Hi,
In CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop we have a requirement wherein new customer creation should go through a duplicate check. Only unique customers should be created as BP in backend GUI, in case a customer already exists with the same credentials, BP should not be created and user should get a message that the customer already exist in the system.
Currently the system is not preventing me from creating new customers with same credentials.
In case anybody has worked on the similar requirement or has any idea about the same, Kindly help.

Internet sales R/3 -- Web shop creation

Dear friends,
I am creating a new web shop in internet sales web shop maintenance portal. Also I have created a product catalog in R/3 & assigned the same in the new web shop. Product catalog is replicated to trex server through ISA_CATALOG_REPLICATION program.
Now when I try to log in to the new web shop , system gives a message "variant language does not match, the shop you are using is maintained inconsistently.
I have checked the variant, language & it is correct. I am unable to figure out what is wrong.
Can you let me know what is wrong here.

Hi Sharan,
in R/3 internet sales you have languages maintained on 3 places:
(1) in the definition of the catalog variant
(2) in the webshop admin
(3) the language that you use to call the webshop (in the URL).
Those need to be all the same.

Delivery type unchanged in both Transaction & B2B Web shop

My requirement is to change the Delivery type to 'expedited' in the b2b web shop if the gross weight is less than 4 kg. I wrote sample code, without condition, in BADI to see the delivery type change in both transaction and in webshop. It seems there is some issue with the below code I could not find any changes in .both transaction and in webshop. I tried with 'CRM_SHIPPING_CHANGE_OW' also. But no luck. Could anly one please tell the bug in the code?

In theory, ZOR orders created from both CRM GUI and B2B should use the same number range only. (internal)
Since the B2B is not creating ZOR type, it is very likely, the shop settings are not effective.
Check if the webshop profile you have set the ZOR is the default webshop that gets used by the B2B. This is done through webshop XCM admin.
Or - are you using Transaction Type Group?

How can I get the Lync Meeting URL programmatically in C#?

Currently I am running an ASP.NET web application and my web page needs to provide a button to get the Lync Meeting URL just like the Outlook does:

The behavior of this button is when it is clicked, the Lync Meeting URL is retrieved (maybe from the Exchange server) and is shown on a asp:Label control on the web page.
I googled but I have been told that there are three SDKs can be considered for this scenario:
Lync SDK - seems the Lync client must be running while the SDK is in use
Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API (UCMA)
Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS)
I am really confused on these three SDKs, and don't know how to achieve my goal by utilizing these SDKs, could someone please help me? It would be much appreciate if you can post some sample code here.

Production B2C web shop sites

Hi all,
I was looking to see if anyone could give me a URL of an existing B2C web shop that I can look at to see the software package in action. So far the demo sites that I have looked at have been extremely slow. Our e-commerce sites are currently in .net, and we would like to move to the web shop application, but what we have seen so far has been very disappointing performance-wise compared to our existing applications. We are currently migrating from a custom ERP to SAP and looking to convert four e-commerce sites to a CRM E-Commerce/Enterpirse Portal solution. Thanks.
