Gettin a Mismatched Hash Error when downloading Mountain Lion

osx 10.7.4. Tried restarting etc but no luck.

Try downloading it in safe mode. Hold the Shift key while your Mac is starting to start into safe mode, and then, open App Store > Purchases, and download Mountain Lion.
If it doesn't work, contact with App Store support > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact

  • Getting an error while downloading mountain lion

Disable anti virus software and try turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall.

  • Drive error when installing Mountain Lion

I just downloaded Mountain Lion to my Macbook Pro. The install repaired because of an error on the internal drive. Disk Utility will not repair the drive, repair remains greyed out. I have a Time Machine back up, but Disk Utility won't designate a destination disk. So currently, I can access OS X Utilities and through that Safari - that is all.
The errors on Verify are :
    Bad hard link creation date.
Hard link record has data extents.
Incorrect number of file hard links.
I dont't have a recovery disc - I downloaded Lion and Mountain Lion. Mountain Lion, as described above, did not complete loading.
    Thanks

  • Error when installing Mountain Lion.  I'm stuck...

I'm trying to install Mountain Lion to my iMac.  After getting the instalation under way I returned to see an error.  I tried to reinstall in and had no joy.  I read a few things on the discussions and so have tried to repair my disk in DU - after verryify disk the repair option is greyed out.  I've tried to erase my disk and start over, but I can't get it to 'unmount'.  I've tried to restore from my time machine but get an error message about volume's being used.  I've read the info in the little operations manual about repairing, restoring and reinstalling and tried that. Nothing.
    I'm stuck.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks very much.

This says Snow Leopard, but it applies to Lion as well.

  • Error when downloading/installing Lion 10.7.3....

    Hi,
I was about 50% of the way downloading the latest Lion update when I got the following error:

Finally managed to get everything working after getting the error below via Software Update:
Strangely enough, when I went to turn off my Mac last night, I was then prompted to either 'Install Update then Shutdown' or just 'Shutdown'. I chose the latter.
Here are the steps that I took before downloading/installing update:
    1) Turn off iMac
    2) Unplug TimeMachine HD
    3) Restart iMac and launch Disk Utility
    4) Verify / Repair Macintosh HD
    5) Download Lion 10.7.3 Client Combo
    6) Install Update and let iMac restart
    7) Turn off iMac and plug-in TimeMachine HD
    8) Turn on iMac and let TimeMachine do its thing (took about an hour)
Everything ran smoothly and system seems to be woking fine.

In this thread, https://discussions.apple.com/message/18548757#18548757, 2105f appears to be a network error of some sort, such that connection to Apple's servers are blocked.
Is there another network you can try?

  • An error occurred while downloading Mountain Lion

I recieved an error while downloading mountain lion and now it will not allow me to re-download? what do I do?

Sometimes, this is due to your ISP, or other.
I'll tell you what, let's try to manually change your DNS, and if that also fails, then we can go the Genius route. But since it's starting to really look network based, there's maybe 50/50 chance DNS works.
Network Preferences -> Advanced -> DNS > DNS Servers
    Add these two entries:
    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4
    They are Google DNS servers.
Remove everything else. Leave Domains as is.

No, there is no ISP limit on my bandwidth.  I have  restarted my router but still no success.  I can download other Apps but with Mountain lion 10.8 it simply says waing in mission control and in the App Store it say "an error has occurred".  I have been working at this now for 3 days and it is very frustrating and I do not think the error is on my side but elsewhere.
I would suggest to contact the Mac App Store Support Team. Make sure to note down the error message and the steps that you do that lead to the problem. Click the link below and select the "Contact Support" option in the sidebar, there you'll be able to appropiately select your options and possible support solutions including contacting the Mac App Store via e-mail.
