  • Can't send or receive internal mail Outlook 2013/Exchange 2013

Working on migrating from Exchange 2010 to 2013 .  When I move a mailbox to the 2013 DB I lose the ability to send or receive internal mail.  OWA works fine, but no internal.  If I move it back to 2010, everything runs perfect.  I have
been chasing my tail and seem to be missing something.  Any suggestions?

    Host record incorrect.

Hi Doc, First of all I would recomend you to take a look to this link:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/exdeploy2013/Checklist?state=2419-W-AgAEAAAAQAAAAAEAAQAAAAA%7e
It's very helpfull for migrations, take the time to review it, also, in your particulary case, I'd recommend you to redirect all the messaging throught the new Exchange 2013 CAS server, so in that case all the mails from outbound just get authenticated and
    then search for each mailbox.
Your issue cames out because your moving the user to an isolate envioroment, maybe the send connectors aren't configured, have you installed the Domain Certificate? or maybe have you exported?

  • Long Delay to Receive New Mail

I have the iPhone 3g and I set up a MobileMe account and I set up my phone to push my e-mails. But, I had an issue where I received two e-mails on Monday, but they didn't show up in my phone till Wednesday? What? How could it take my phone 3 days to recognize a new e-mail? Luckily they weren't important, but still...anyone else have this issue?

    Hello Kenfromsk and MangoN,
I have managed to resolve the problem of not being able to received my AOL e-mail via Lion Mail.
It was quite drastic action so please save any e-mails that you have on the Mac rather on the e-mail server.  All of mine are on AOL's server.
The solution I found was. Firstly shut down Mail then via Go to Home (in the drop down menu) then Library and find the Mail folder.
Deleted all the files within the Mail Folder that related to your e-mail provider, in my case AOL.   Do not delete the Mail folder itself.
Once you have done this re-launch Mail and let the mail assistant take you through re-establishing your e-mail account.
It worked for me and I hope it does for you.  Please let me know how you get on.
    Best Regards,
    Maurice 49.

  • Mail hiccup? 2 to 3 times a day don't receive new mail unless quit & reboot

Sometimes I won't receive new e-mail messages in my INBOX, my Treo tells me I have new mails. I have to quite mail to see new messages. I've heard this is a mproblem with mac mail, anybody know how to fix it?

I've been using the Mail.app for a very long time and I've never had this problem. Where have you heard this? This problem isn't reported here in large numbers if at all.
For what type of account - .Mac, IMAP or POP?
What is your time interval setting for automatically checking for new messages?
Before quitting and relaunching Mail, have you checked if the account is offline which can occur when there is a problem communicating with the incoming mail server for an account which isn't necessarily a Mail.app problem.

  • Receiving e-mail on Blackberry while in China - is there an additional roaming cost?

I have the unlimited data plan for my Blackberry and am travelling in China.  I thought that receiving e-mail would cost me $20/MB since I'm roaming, but a friend here believes that I can always receive e-mail on my Blackberry for no additional roaming cost.  Is this true, or will I get charged $20/MB to receive e-mail?
    Thanks.

Actually, you are both wrong.  You will need to change your data plan to the Global Blackberry plan for $64.99 per month and you will be able to get your emails while in China.

  • Delayed Receipt of E-mails

I have been on this forum before regarding delay in receiving e-mails to only one of my accounts on BB 9900. I have tried all suggestions offered i.e. HRT, service books, battery pull, deleting and re-installing email account etc.
I have also visited my domain host where the web based mails shows all okay. I have visited my carrier too and all is okay on that front. In fact i bought a BB SIM from a rival carrier and installed my affected e-mail address on a different BB device and the problem remains on that too. In desperation I asked a colleague to install my affected e-mail address on his Android phone and on his device the e-mail account worked just fine and e-mails started downloading immediately.
That test concludes that this indeed is a BB problem only and that for only one of my e-mail accounts. The rest of the accounts (one domain by same host) and other g-mail accounts are all fine.
I can't talk to a BB expert directly as there is no provision for that on the BB side. I am at my wits end now and the easy solution would be to change to another device like android or i-phone but i'd rather not do that. Any suggestions.
    thank you in advance.

    Hello,
I cannot tell what you mean by "delayed"...if it is 20 minutes, then that is WAD -- Working As Designed. BB devices work with BIS for email, and BIS cannot work with true push on every email system in the world. In some cases, the 20 minute delay is indeed as good as it can be.
Also, there is no such thing as 100% comparability...I'm sure that, with enough devices in hand, you could find others that similarly fail. Your test set is entirely too small to draw an accurate conclusion from.
If the delay is longer than 20 minutes, then your carrier has let you down, and should have properly escalated your case. As you learned, there is no free path for you to directly seek formal support from BB...only via proper and formal escalation by your carrier can such be obtained.
    Good luck!

  • OWA not receiving any mails.

    Hello,
A client of mine has the SBS 2011 installed in a server and has a domain (domain.com.py) with several users.
Everything worked just fine until I added a new user in the server and in the domain control panel.
The new user is able to acces the owa and send/receive internal mail, hi can also send external emails, but cannot receive from an external domain.
Any ideas or recomendations to solve this?
    Thank you in advance.

  • Mail, I have recently been receiving inappropriate mail which I have put to junk and deleted but they keep on coming sometimes 3 or 4 a day, how can I get rid of these once and for all.  I am a lady of advancing years and do not want this.

I have recently started to receive inappropriate mail.  Although I have never opened it I can tell that it is of a pornographic nature.  As well as this I constantly receive mail offering me P**** enlargement drugs.  Since I am a lady of advanced years I want neither of theses !!!  Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this unwanted stuff.  I receive at least 4 of them everyday and am quite frankly fed up putting them into junk and deleting them, but still they keep coming.  Can anyone help please.

If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com then your email is located on Apple's iCloud service. To access that email via the web, click on this link:

  • Why do I receive internal server error (#IS6532) when I Get Messages?

When I "Get Messages" in TB, I receive one of three messages:
    ● Sending of password for user [email protected] did not succeed. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: internal server error (#IS6532)
    ● The mail server responded: From address not verified - see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/manage/sendfrom-07.html. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again.

This has started recently with no changes on my part. I have Yahoo set up to forward a copy to an alternate email address.
    Thank you for your help,

The error code seems to be a recurrent Yahoo! issue, viz:
    http://codeverge.com/mozilla.support.thunderbird/internal-server-error-is6532/1531508
    http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r28485957-Intermittent-snd-rcv-error-when-with-Yahoo-Mail-and-POP3
This guy proposes a solution, but since this was some time ago, it's hard to see that it is relevant today. However, it would be good to check you're using the recommended settings.
    http://www.emailquestions.com/isp-free-email-support-forums/9255-fix-err-sys-temp-internal-server-error-is6532.html
Given Yahoo's somewhat spotty record, it seems likely that your two other errors are also part of the general unreliability of Yahoo's service. :-(

  • Texting/IM problems incoming/outgoing, Not Received/Up To 3 Day Delays, Blackberry Curve 9300

For several weeks now I have been having problems receiving and sending texts from my blackberry. I first brought this to the attention of my provider (tmobile) at the end of september, this was after the announcement that RIM has resolved the problems that were reported all over the news.
Tmobile can not figure it out, they even sent me a new blackberry hoping it would resolve the problem. Some of my contacts that I was having trouble texting are also blackberry users so I figured Instant messaging would be the way to go, but even that is not working, receive some IM's, don't receive others and up to 3 day delays. Both my incoming and outgoing texts are either not received or can be delayed up to 3 days on both ends. At this point I am finding the situation really frustrating. I have people calling me upset cause they think I am ignoring their msgs intentionally.
This evening I was at my sons sports practice and was chatting to another mom who has a blackberry, ATT is her provider, she is having the exact same problem which leads me to believe that it is a problem with blackberry and not our providers.
I would greatly appreciate help resolving this problem as I find it really frustrating not knowing whether my communications are being received or not, and am also not happy that I am not receiving all my texts and instant messages.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

  • Random delay in receiving emails in Apple Mail

    Hi Everyone:
I've searched online about this problem but I didn't find anything helpful for my situation. I'm hoping someone here can help me. The problem I'm having is that there is a delay in receiving emails in Apple Mail—and it's happening in random. Here's a list of things that pertain to the problem:
    1. Delays in receiving emails vary from 1 hour to 1 day. The delayed emails are actually sitting on the incoming email server and can be seen via webmail using a browser. So, to me, apparently this is a problem with Apple Mail not downloading the new email where it's clearly received on the server.
    2. The same delayed email, when resent by the sender a few times, randomly downloaded by Apple Mail in no particular order. One of the resent emails arrived with no delay while others are delayed again. This is one same email from one same sender.
    3. This problem happens on Macs running Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.x), Lion (10.7.x), and Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.x). Different Macs, different email user accounts, same domain name. But, some other Macs with other user accounts on the same domain name have never had this problem ever.
    4. Besides this problem of delayed emails, I've also noticed another problem that seems to tag along: read emails or trashed emails will show up in the Inbox as unread/new emails the next day.
The steps I've taken so far:
    1. Talked and had the email server provider checked the server and the delayed emails with long headers, and they found nothing wrong with the email server functions. I concurred as I can see the emails not delayed if I use the webmail/browser.
    2. Rebuilt the email account in Apple Mail, reset keychain to the email account, clear cache, fixed permissions on the Mac with the problem.
    And the problem persists...

I am having a similiar problem with emails sent to my 10.6 xserve.
I have noticed most, if not all, of the problems are connected to email coming from google servers i.e. [email protected]  As I also administer a google business account I contacted Google and when they looked into it indicated this sometime has something to do with google's 'Undo Send" function.  However in my case google is indicating it is an issue on my server with no further explination.

  • I cannot send email a message says a copy has been posted to outbox.I can send and also get web sites and can receive mail on my computer

I cannot send email from iPad just get maeesage saying copy sent to outbox, but I can receive incoming mail.problem started after using dictation a couple of times I can send from my computer though anyone help me please

    Cannot send or received email

  • Why do I get an "unable to connect - There may be a problem with the mail server or network." message from iCloud.  I have verified the settings.  I can access my iCloud account online but can't send or receive e-mail via the mail account.

Text limits to the "Question" link prevents a full explanation:
This is a long-time problem.  I have tried to resolve it with Apple but their "Customer Support" is merely a name.
I can go online and access my e-mail but when I try to send or receive e-mail via iCloud through my internet server (Google fiber now but the same situation existed with my prior service), I receive "There may be a problem with the mail server or network.  Verify the settings for 'Apple Email' and try again.
"The server returned the error:  The server 'p0-imap.mail.me.com' refused to allow a connection on port 143."
Well, I have verified the setting and tried again and again and …
Well, you get the idea …

Maybe you should test these things before calling people out, because these settings do function perfectly well.
iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)
The document I linked to is Apples documentation for iCloud on current devices,I don't care whether you believe that you know better than they do, but it will affect the people who follow your advice as it won't work

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app.  I am certain other applications also need this information.  Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information.  Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them.
