Getting a an adobe QT32 Server.exe error?

My production premium CS6 media encoder was working fine and now every time I launch I get the Adobe QT32 Server.exe. - No Disk error That reads There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk drive\Device\Harddisk2\DR10

We can't know. You have not provided any proper system info nor details about your render settings or e.g. the settings for the Media Cache. This very much sounds like it is simply looking for a file from a previous render that no longer is there...

  • Quicktime output error - adobe qt32 server.exe

    Hallo,
ich habe eine HP Workstation Z800 mit 2xSixcore 2,66, 24GB RAM. Betriebssystem ist Win7 64bit. Software: Adobe CS5 MasterCollection, Avid MC 5, Norton 360 Premier Edition, Quicktime 7.2.6., MS Office 2010.

  • Adobe QT32 Server.exe has stopped working?

Everytime I exit Premiere cs5 or media encoder cs5 this error message would pop up.  Currently it doesn't seem to effect the programs, it is just really annoying.  Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

I get this error when I start Windows.
Since I seldom use Premiere I don't want to give access to its services to contact any servers at all.
And also, I Windows firewall should show a message when blocking a new program, according to my firewall settings, and I don't find Adobe QT32.exe in the firewall list of programs.
The only Adobe program I've got installed is Adobe Premiere Elements 13, but it seems to have installed some unwanted services...

  • Adobe QT32 Server.exe keeps crashing.

Hi I'm ediiting on a local disk on my windows PC. The PC has a 4930K i7 , 32gb of ram and a gtx 670 4gb. The issue has happened a couple of times in the passed but is now constant as I am trying to finish a multi-cam edit. I have copied the error log here:

    Todd,
Thanks for the reply. I'm using After Effects CC 12.2.1.5
Here's the screenshot of my View Preview settings:
Also, after further troubleshooting, I can get the sequence to render IF I select resize and enter dimensions outside of the original dimensions. (I'm currently trying to render a 3840 x 2160 QHD comp but I get the same issue with 1920 x 1080 comps)

  • Adobe QT32 Server.exe Premiere CS6 Pro and Media Encoder

    Hi,
Been having intermittent issues with this. I'll be trying to render, or even just scrubbing through a clip in the timeline and Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working pops up:
    Problem signature:
      Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

Doesn't always do it, but now I've found an instance where it's reliably repeatable. As I scrub through a certain part of the footage, it crashes. Or it crashes at the same point during rendering.
I've succesfully edited and rendered clips made from the same cameras, recorder (Tricaster 410) - even from the same actual media file. I've tried updating QuickTime, uninstalling, reinstalling QuickTime, doing windows updates, updating GPU drivers from Nvidia, clearing media cache DB, launching Premiere while holding shift. Nothing makes a difference.
System is an 2 CPU Intel Xeon E5-2687W 3.1 GHz, 64GB RAM running Win7 Pro 64.
Anyone have any suggestions that don't involve reinstalling CS6?

...BE AWARE.....the newest versions of PPro CC 2014 contain a "fix" for your problems with the .MOV  32 bit codec. Somehow, .MOVs are NOW handled in a 64 bit environment by PPro which REMOVES the CRIPPLING use of the 32 bit Quirktime process, and ALLOWS much greater memory to be used than the old 4 GB limit.......I've seen the DRASTIC improvement myself on my Haswell laptop. I am not sure about Media Encoder, however, it would be STUPID if the same improvement was not also made with THAT program. CS6 does NOT have this improvement.....and WILL not updated to get it.  If I return to PPro 5.5....the "old" crappy performance returns with Canon MOVs......even on a TWICE as powerful machine !!!!.....UGH !!!
....Better to submit to the "subscription model" and its pecadillos that try to edit with a QUIRKTIME hobbled workflow !!!!

  • How to speed up render to h.264 in CS6? Adobe QT32 Server.exe causes long delay

(Before you say "Don't use AE to render to h.264; use AME!" – I'd love to, but AME isn't controllable from the command line / batch files the way aerender.exe is)
When I try to render a brain dead simple composition (30 seconds, black background with the word "DUMMY" centered), aerender takes nearly four minutes to complete. This is a Windows Server 2012 box with 32 CPUs (16 cores+16 HT), about ~60GB of memory and I believe it's on 10Gb ethernet. Turning multi-processing off doesn't have effect on the pause.
If I view the task in task viewer, NO CPU is being used and Adobe QT32 Server.exe is running. Analyzing the wait chain for aerender.exe says that a thread is waiting for network i/o to complete (I assume this is Adobe QT32 Server.exe, which uses TCP to talk to Quicktime). After about three minutes, the render continues (and goes blazingly quick, as expected).
    WTF?
How can I get around this long, useless pause? Is there an alternative h.264 output module that doesn't use Quicktime?
    Thanks in advance!

    The flaw is here:
This is a Windows Server 2012 box
Adobe desktop programs are generally not officially supported on server operating systems. Whatever issues you have are probably due to things like local users vs. network users, disk quota, specific group policies or plain and simple another process occupying or blocking the same port that the QT server is using. In any case, this is nothing we can figure out for you. You have to sit down and work your way through the server's administration tools, turn off stuff, change user permissions. Check the event logs for conflicting processes or use tools like Sysinternals' Process Monitor or Wireshark to track down port collisions and otehr problems.

  • What is "Adobe QT32 Server.exe"?

    Greetings,
Please let me know if this is the wrong forum.
There is a 32-bit program running on my computer called Adobe QT32 Server.exe. How can I find out what it is, or which application installed it?
I have only installed Photoshop Elements 11.0. Flash and Reader came pre-installed.
    Thanks,
    Shane.

    No, I tried using Bing.

It's using up a big of processing power, so I was just wondering what it was.

  • How come every time I close the app, I get this error message: Adobe QT32 Server CC 2014.2 has stopped working

I have the error message box saved as a PDF, but can't post it here.  Anyways, if anyone has any idea how to stop this from happening, I would greatly appreciate.  [email protected]
    Thank you!

I'm having the same problem on Windows 8.1 with the latest version of PP CC. I seem to only have this problem since the last update, although I don't necessarily edit every day. The problem mostly occurs when I close a project and exit PP, but I have had it a couple of times while the program is open.

  • Premiere Elements - QT32 server.exe - no disk

I have Premiere Elements 10 on win7 (64). Using instant movie I get an error message '5d0: adobe QT32 Server.exe - No Disk, There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive D:'.   Drive D on my computer is one of the card reader slots. This shows up as a process in Task Manager which cannot be killed.   Any thoughts welcome

I had QT version 7.6.9.  Your answer prompted me to check for upgrades.  Upgrading to 7.7.1 failed so I uninstalled 7.6.9 and installed 7.7.1 manually (after having to manually delete a file left behind by 7.6.9 uninstall - 'error getting file security' message ).
    Instant movie now works fine.
BTW - I had recently installed the Additional Function Content &, on checking again, my 'D' drive is in fact my DVD drive.  There may have been a pointer to there from my recent installation of the Additional Function Content.
    Thank you for your time.

You can kill these 2 task by opening the Windows Task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR)
Then find the processes named :
    Adobe QT32 Server
    Adobe Dynamic Link Manager
Kill theses 2 tasks (right click then END OF TASK)
If you got many of theses tasks, kill each.
Then uninstall Premiere. It should be OK

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Mac/Adobe QT32 Server (Not Responding)

Has anyone else used a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB on a mac in AE? We just got one from Macvidcards and AE seems really slow starting and closing.
In fact when you quit the MediaCore then hangs for ages when you restart. I edited the supported Raytracer setting and it is seen and can use Cuda.

Have you checked out this post from Adobe?  I know it says for After Effects but it definitely applies to Premiere too.  We have some AJA cards whose components in /library/QuickTime were causing similar Adobe QT32 server hangups; removing them solved our issue but also broke compatibility with older apps like FCP 7.

  • CS6 not opening because ExporterQuicktimeHost.bundle issue. Adobe QT32 Server seems to be the issue

    Hi,
I am currently very frustrated with a CS6 issue. For no apparent reason (no update, change or new software) Premier, AfterEffects and Media Encoder all stall while opening on ExpoerterQuicktimeHost.bundle. It seems it is directly related to codecs and Adobe QT32 Server. If i remove certain codecs, then the programs work, however this is no use to me, because i need those codecs for the projects i am working on. Similarly, if i force quit Adobe QT32 Server as a process, then the program opens, however the codecs in question just dont work.
How can i get refresh / reload / reconnect the Adobe QT32 Server process so that it opens the needed codecs??
    I am running:
    MAC OS X Lion 10.7.5
    2.8 GHz i5
    20 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory
    HELP!

    Laurens--
I'm having exactly the same problem. Was that the final resolution — to download and install Quicktime player 7.7.1?
    Thanks,
