Getting a blue sky with a D200? Not cyan, not magenta.

This might a general issue with current digital cameras but particular on HDR images I have trouble producing a blue sky with my Nikon D200 images in Aperture. Most often the light areas of sky are more cyan than blue, changing the color temperature and/or adding magenta usually make things worse.
Adobe Camera Raw seems to do better but is not completely cyan free either. The best way to improve the situation, I have found, is to use the color palette and change the hue of cyan towards blue.
Here are three examples, first Aperture (default except for a some exposure and brightness adjustments), second ACR (same kind of adjustments), and third Aperture with the cyan-hue correction:

b: Aperture
c: the D200
Is there an easy solution? Is my WB balancing not good enough? (I am considering too always shooting a second photo with a grey card.)

Played around a bit more with the color panel. Moving cyan towards blue and blue a bit towards cyan + reducing both brightness and saturation for cyan and blue produced a more pleasing color (and a rather good match with ACR):

It's a bit annoying having to fix up the colors like this. But I guess this where the experience behind Nikon Capture and also ACR enables these applications to provide a better out-of-the-box result.

HP Photosmart C8180-all in one. I use a Mac Pro laptop. I updated the driver 4 years ago to my Mac. This year while in Fl I went to turn on the printer and I get a blue screen with the number B817988E on the screen. I haver tried re booting by unplugging both ends of the printer cord, but this does not work. Holding the on button in does not work. If it does come on My computer connects wirelessly, but does not print. Then it will not shut down.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

The phone is in restore mode and the picture is telling you what to do. Connect the phone, by cable, to iTunes in the computer you normally use for syncing, and retore the phone.

Email only get a blue box with question mark

would someone tell me how to fix my problem, when I get emails and adds I only get a blue box with a question mark. The rest of the family gets the complete email. The older version worked with no problems.

The question mark in the box, if it looks like this: means that safari cannot find the linked image. On windows machines, this would be the equivilant of the small "page-with-a-red-X" logo that appears in the same scenario. Check the reference to the image and make sure that the image is in the correct location, and is accessable by the reference.

Why do I get a blue box with ? In Safari with my iPad? It appears to be where pictures should be. Very annoying when trying to read through an explanation of something and I get this dang blue box.

It's usually some graphics element that the iPad can't handle. Maybe it's a flash image, maybe it has another protocol that the iPad just can't display. NO way to say for sure without viewing the same page on a computer then checking the file type.

Blue Screen with Text re IPOD size not being valid

Now everytime I reboot, I get a blue screen full of text about the IPOD size not being valid, and I have to hit the reset button to get out of the loop.
THEN, when I try to just wipe everything off the IPOD and start over/Restore, I get a message that says IPOD manager internal error.

With the internal memory error message stopping Update, I went online to see if I could manually download the latest update...or any update. Even a previous version.
But to do that I have to go back to Itunes 7...The only reason I don't like version 7 is that my Ipod contents disappear from the Itunes source window when the Ipod is not connected to the computer.
Anyone know of a more reliable mp3 player ?

I bought an audigy platinum 2 years ago and used it to transfer DAT tapes to my computer so I could make redbook CDs (don't like the sound of MP3). It was easy and work every time until the audigy bit the dust from too much heat. I had some books piled on it. I just got another one, with the EX (what's that?). I started up the creative mixer, played a tape on my DAT player and pressed the R button on the remote. The red light flashes on the plastic box and a blue box with NA in it flashes on my screen. What's up with that? Has Creative gone back to bitchy software? Where is the record button on the mixer thing? The software I had before had it.
