Getting a Dump in ST04 DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION

Hi All,
We have an ECC 6.0 running on Oracle 10.2.0.2 and os is SUN - OS
When i go to ST04 i get a dump in the system
DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION
Screen name.............. "SAPLS_ORA_COCKPIT_2"
Screen number............ 0001
Screen field............. "ST04N_DATA-DBUFF_BUSYWAITS"
Error text............... "FX015: Sign lost."
I have applied the note 1227629 manually
i.e In Structure ST04N_DATA i saw the following data elements were having length as 12. and it was increased to 16.
DBUFF_LOGREADS
DBUFF_PHYSREADS
DBUFF_PHYSWRITES
DBUFF_BUSYWAITS
DBUFF_WAITTIME
and after that in SE80 selected function group S_ORA_COCKPIT_2 under the screen 0001 changed the length from 15 10 16 for  fields DBUFF_LOGREADS
DBUFF_PHYSREADS
DBUFF_PHYSWRITES
DBUFF_BUSYWAITS
DBUFF_WAITTIME
however we still have the error. Any pointers would be helpful
Regards,
Ershad Ahmed

The current ABAP program "CL_EX_MB_MIGO_BADI============CP" had to be
               terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
         What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "MB_MIGO_BADI==================CP
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
              administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
         Error analysis
The following syntax error was found in the program
               MB_MIGO_BADI==================CP :
"The specified type cannot be converted into the target variables."
         How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
              1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
              (Unconverted)".
              3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
                 In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
              Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
              4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

When we are running RALM_ME_MEASP_FULL_DOWNLOAD_SD  program, every time we are getting Short dump due to large amount of data.
please suggest how to run this program without short dump.
    Thanks & Regards
    Prashant Gupta

    Hi,
you do run the wrong APP I guess. The service you are running is for MAM20. If you are interested in MAM30 and MAM25, please use the correct service.
If you have a look for
    *FULL_DOWNLOAD_SD
You find them all. Use the ones without the RALM in front - then the timeout should be solved as well. Bside that there is a great guid available that helps as well to solve some issues around server driven replication:
    [MAM SERVER DRIVEN SETUP GUIDE|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/818ac119-0b01-0010-ba8b-b6e3f3490a63?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]
Hope that helps to solve yourt issue.

  • How can I get heap dump for 1.4.2_11 when OutOfMemory Occured

    Hi guys,
How can I get heap dump for 1.4.2_11 when OutOfMemory Occured, since it has no options like: -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError and -XX:+HeapDumpOnCtrlBreak
We are running Webloic 8.1 SP3 applications using this Sun 1.4.2_11 JVM and it's throwing out OutOfMemory, but we can not find a heap dump. The application is running as a service in Windows Server 2003. How can I do some more analysis on this issue.
    Thanks.

The HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError option was added to 1.4.2 in update 12. Further work to support all collectors was done in update 15.

    Hi,
In addition to above code, you need to place the mandatory check when using for all entries for checking the driver table is initial or not. If T_MARC[] IS INITIAL, all the entries from MARA will be selected.
IF NOT T_MARC[] IS INITIAL.  "Mandatory check
SELECT MATNR MBRSH MEINS MATKL FROM MARA INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE T_MARA
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_MARC WHERE MATNR = T_MARC-MATNR.
SELECT MATNR MAKTX SPRAS FROM MAKT INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE T_MAKT
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_MARC WHERE MATNR = T_MARC-MATNR AND SPRAS = SY-LANGU.
    ENDIF.

  • Data mart data load InfoPackage gets shot dumps

This is related to the solution Vijay provided in the link What is the functionality of 0FYTLFP [Cumulated to Last Fiscal Year/Period
I encounter the problem again for Data Mart load that I created different initial load InfoPackages with different data selection and ran them separatedly that the initial data packet are messed up and whenever I try to creat a new InfoPackage, always get short dumps. RSA7 on BW system itself doesn't give the fault entry.
I try to use the program RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE you provided, get three parameters:
    LOGSYS (required)
    DATASOUR (required)
    ALWAYS (not required)
I fill in LOGSYS with our BW system source system name that's in the InfoPackage and fill in DATASOUR with the datasource name 80PUR_C01. But it goes nowhere when clicking the execution button!
Then I tried another option you suggested by checking the entries in the following three tables:
    ROOSPRMS Control Parameters Per DataSource
ROOSPRMSC Control Parameter Per DataSource Channel
    ROOSPRMSF Control Parameters Per DataSource
I find there is no any entry for 1st table with datasource 80PUR_C01, but find two entries in each of the 2nd and 3rd tables. I need to go ahead to delete these two entries for these two tables, right?
    Thanks

    Kevin,
sorry, I didn't follow your problem/question, but pay attention when you want to modify these tables content !!!
Since there is an high risk of inconsistencies...(why don't you ask for some SAP support in OSS for this situation?)
    Hope it helps!
    Bye,
    Roberto

    hey Paolo,
I tried RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE, but there are two required input fields:
    LOGSYS (required)
    DATASOUR (required)
I fill in LOGSYS with our BW system source system name that's in the InfoPackage and fill in DATASOUR with the datasource name 80PUR_C01. But it goes nowhere when clicking the execution button!  The LOGSYS value I input is correct by filling in with the BW system source system name in InfoPackage?   Also I tried to run this program many times, a little better, but still abnormal.  Maybe I need to try to delete the last two control table entries?
There is problem with giving reward points now with this website, I will give you reward points later.

  • I get a dump of HTML instead of a POPUPKEYVALUE contents while running app.

Hi, Many times I get a dump of HTML instead of a POPUPKEYVALUE contents while running the app.
If I reload the POPUP it fills with the choices as it should have.
I have had no complaints from Users though so I think it is just dev area.

    etc...

    Hi John,
Actually I have had no complaints from anyone else about this. Just me.
It may be just in DEV mode?
I am the only one using Firefox because we do not officially support it even though I develop with it.
Haven't checked webserver logs, I'd have to find out who to contact.. I'm a contractor working from San Antonio and the servers are in Memphis.
It is random.. this morning I just accessed a table in Home>SQL Workshop>Object Browser-clicked Data--clicked Query and got what I was suppose to..
Yesterday when I posted this I would get to the data but as soon as I -clicked on "Query" I would get the dump. I tried several times and never got it to give me the "Query" selection form.
    Using Firefox version 2.0.0.14
    Thank you, Bill

  • Hi Getting Abap dump when in RRP3 when deactivating the DP Planning area

    Hi
We are using the Consumption group by this releasing Forecast to SNP at Customer level also along with product and location level,i am doing in dev only,
Issue :I have deactivated the DP Planning area(because of some modification) then activated/Initialized the DP Planning area, After that when I see  in the RRP3 for the product  it is getting Abap dump,CVCs now it is available also, Please let me know how to correct it

    KKK,
I doubt that the event of deactivating/reactivating the DP PA is the cause of your ABAP dumps in //RRP3.  More likely the problem is related to a LC inconsistency, or a userexit.
Run all of your LC consistency checks, they are easy to do and quick to run.  And, like any other dump, read the messages in the dumps to find out what went wrong.

  • Firefox crashes but the dump has been uploaded, how can I get the dump(Not the raw dump in bugzilla )?

I meet a problem that firefox happens to crash, but i can not get the dump because it has been uploaded?
Is there any way I can get the dump(Not the raw dump)?

This problem is not a pop-up. First of all the problem did not start until Yahoo changed their set up for ads in Yahoo Games.
Once it did start, the ads do not "pop-up", it is a vertical bar that is there all the time. You cannot get rid of it.
By the same token, it is not a Yahoo Problem since the problem does not exist using another server.
Yahoo says it has to do with some add-ons or plug-ins in Firefox that is causing the problem.
As you can see by the screen picture, one third of the game screen has a vertical ad area. I want to get rid of it.

  • Getting Time_OUT dump

    Hi ,
i am getting time_out dump when i am innerjoining MAPL and PLPO tables.
SELECT mapl matnr mapl werks mapl plnty mapl plnnr mapl plnal
plpo plnkn plpo zaehl plpo vgw04
FROM mapl INNER JOIN plpo ON
           mapl plnnr = plpo plnnr
        INTO TABLE ist_mapl
        FOR ALL ENTRIES IN main_ltb
WHERE mapl matnr = main matnr
AND mapl werks = mainltb werks
          AND vornr = '0010' .

your problem is not related to the FAE, but to the join:
    INTO TABLE ist_mapl
    FROM         mapl AS a
    INNER JOIN plpo AS b
    ON  b~plnnr = a~plnnr
    FOR ALL ENTRIES IN main_ltb
    WHERE a~matnr  = main matnr
    AND      a~werks = mainltb werks
    AND      b~plnty =  ????
    AND vornr = '0010' .
You need PLNTY? If you don't know it, then you can add
as list of all possible values
    PLNTY IN ( '...', '...' ... )
    it should help.
