How do I fix the following problem when I try to sync my iPhone music to my iMac? "Attempting to copy to disk Macintosh HD failed. You don't have enough access privleges for this operation."
Hey veo1,
I found the following information about that error message:
These messages occur if permissions are incorrect on your designated music folder or on a folder inside your designated music folder. Permissions are settings that determine who can read, write to, or execute a file or folder on your computer. Every file and folder on your hard disk has an associated set of permissions.

check if you have read & write permissions for your iTunes music (or media) folder. in finder, right-click on it and +get info+. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings. if permissions settings check out, click on the little gear-shaped icon and +apply to enclosed items+ like so
now try consolidating again. -
when I go into my Itunes now it tells me that " You don't have enough access privileges for this eperation" which is causing me other issues with buying my music too. " Could't download purchase........" something like media file and stuff. Does anyone have a solution to this problem. This is my mom's old macbook pro and have never had a problem before. Just down loaded the new updated Itunes today but that didn't help anything. Please help. Thank you

the iphone cannot be synced. you don't have enough access privileges for this operation
contacts ,calander and notes get syncronised but apps do not . at 4 stage above message comeIf you still want to sync your photos try this instead:
1. Go to the Pictures folder in the Finder window (Pictures usually appears under Favorites in the sidebar of the Finder window)
2. **Locate the iPhoto Library file and Right click on the file and select Show Package Contents.
3. Locate the iPod Photo Cache folder and delete it.
4. Try the sync process again, it should work.
** Sometimes the iPod Photo Cache folder is simply in the Pictures folder and step 2 is not necessary -

Hello there, Pay Man.
The following Knowledge Base article speaks to issues with permissions in iTunes:

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1387
Additionally other users have found removing and reinstalling iTunes resolves the issue as well. This article provides the step by step on how to do that:

I keep getting error messages when trying to sync my Iphone
I am not sure what the heck is going on.... the syncing has been running smooth up until now and I am not sure why it is all of a sudden doing this. I keep getting 2 error messages....
#1 being "The Iphone "Nikki's Iphone" cannot be synced. An internal device error occurred.
and
#2 Itunes cannot sync apps to the Iphone "Nikki's Iphone" because the apps installed on the phone could not be determined.....
My Iphone has the latest OS system and my Itunes is up to date.... what is going on????I seemed to have figured it out...... I hard reset my Iphone and rebooted my computer and it seemed to work. It also seemed there was a music file that was not being recognized, I just erased it and everything worked fine after that.... very strange but I am so glad I figured it out.....

The machine I am trying to install on is a MacBook Pro. The software is for an IRIScan express 2 scanner. It says (and provides a disc containing the software) it is compatible with Mac OS.
In System reqirements it states the following:
This is the minimal system configuration required to use Readiris:
a Mac OS computer with a G3 processor.
the operating system Mac OS X version 10.2 (“Jaguar”). Earlier ver- sions of the Mac OS operating system are not supported!
110 MB of free hard disk space.
I have no idea what (nor where to find out if it has) a G3 processor is. My machine has Mountain Lion. Is this "above" or "below" "Jaguar"?
Any assistance will be appreciated.I'll try Silverfast.
Err... Try VueScan first. VueScan have one-for-all software, Silverfast - lot of modules for specific scanners. If they not have version for your specific scanner - no chances.
VueScan works with at least some IRIS models: http://applejac.typepad.com/applejac_macintosh_users/2009/05/vuescan-universal-s oftware-image-capture-tool.html
And I see 10.7-10.8 support on IRIS page: http://www.irislink.com/c2-1628-189/Mac-OS-compatibility-support.aspx -
I got above error.
