Getting a new install reader fails bf completing loading

I had to down load as much as windows allowed to get sp3 Now everything is working on windows yet
i can not load the acrobat reader. when it is retrieving install it stops.
i shut off my firewall completely and virus protection but dont get any error number just says will not complete install Does windows update now not give us the complete requirements for down loading?

New imaged machines fail to complete reboot after install of 10.4.9 image
Running off both 10.4.9 Server and a 10.3.9 Server machines imaged from the same disk image and different disk images fail to reboot after imaging is complete. All machines go through various stages of reboot some initial most all the way to waiting for finder to boot up on desktop. Nothing is wrong with the items, installed the entire image is installed if you looking at the machines via firewire. All .nbi sets were created under 10.3.9 (to avoid 10.4.9 problems) all disk images with Disk Utility all .nbi with 10.3.9 Network Image utility.
Anyone any clues been driving me nuts for about a week and I have 500 ibooks to image.
Also the reference machines for the images are same ibooks that will be imaged, so its the same platform.

All is the same for me except I used a 10.4.9 server only to create the disk image using Disk utility, and all other work ison a 10.3.9 server. Greay or blue screen on reboot otherwise machines look fine.

Order of events as follows...
Build image on source mac (10.4.9)
Create image on server for netinstall from source mac
(10.4.9)
Set Netinstall image on server via netboot (10.4.9)
Install Netinstall image on target mac via netboot on
server (10.4.9)
Installs fine and says successful.....Apon reboot all
i get is the grey screen with the apple and spinning
icon....Sits there and doesn't change....
On further inspection I notice that there are things
that are missing off target mac
very strange....Sounds like a broken System Image

When I Load a Movie or New Movie it doesn't completely Load

When I Load a Movie or New Movie it doesn't completely Load. So When I click the iMovie HD Icon on My little Bar thing. The screen comes up and the blue bar Only Goes to the Middle and stops. It says to wait a few minutes, But I have waited 7 hours and more everyday. Please Help. I Love to make Movies, and I'd hate for my passion to Stop.

Two thoughts. Your Mac is struggeling about how to get organized.
- free space on internal hard disk should read more than 10Gb and even
rather like 25GB
- The hard disk that You store Your movie on can be in wrong format
∆ is it formatted OK (if only one = internal it's most probably OK)
∆ external hard disks MUST BE - Mac OS Extended formatted to work
• DOS/UNIX/Mac Exchange - won't do !
- The hard disk can be untidy:
∆ Run: Repair Permissions (Apple Disk Util tool)
∆ Run: Repair Hard disk (Apple Disk Util tool) (You need to start from CD/DVD
or externa hard disk)
∆ AND - delete iMovie pref file (or start a new account / log into this and re-try.
(will do the same but it discards even more eventually faulty files)

I cannot get my new install of iTunes 11 to recognize my music library

I had been happily using Vista and iTunes 11 to access my music on my NAS. I had changed the iTunes media folder location to "\\READYNAS\media\Music\iTunes" and all my songs showed up in iTunes.
Then I switched to Windows 7 (clean install) and installed iTunes 11 and again changed the
media folder location to" \\READYNAS\media\Music\iTunes," but the songs do not appear in iTunes. All that appears are the three sample songs located at C:\Users\Public\Music\Sample Music.
I have enabled both "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library."
Also, I answer "yes" to the pop-up question, "Would you like iTunes to move and rename the files in your iTunes new media folder to match the 'Keep iTunes media folder organized' preference?"
How do I get my new installation of iTunes to find and use my songs on the NAS?

If you're interested in why it went wrong, and how to avoid problems next time... read on.
Changing the location of the media folder in and of itself doesn't alter where iTunes looks for existing content, nor make it add content from a new location into the library. iTunes expects everything to stay where it was. Keeping the library files on the computer with the media on an external drive or NAS creates a split library. This is harder to move to a new system or preserve during an OS upgrade. Unlike a split library a self-contained portable library in the usual layout can be moved to a new path providing the relative paths from library to media folder remain unchanged. Before upgrading or migrating a library it should be possible to rearrange the library into this portable shape, move the library, test that it works, then if necessary copy the library files back to internal storage for performance. Can't install:"1628: Failed to complete installation."

Upon double-clicking on OracleXE.exe (165.332.312 byte, production), I receive a dialog box stating "1628: Failed to complete installation".
I have MSIExec.exe version 3.1.4000.1823 on my system.
I've followed the instructions (looking for still-running install processes, clearing the temp directory, making sure I have a current Windows Installer) and none work.
I don't found in temp directory an OracleDatabaseExpressInstall.log.
I have Windows Xp Pro Sp2, 1Gb ram, Sempron 2600+, Hd 80 Gb.
I have setting language from Italian to English (US).
On an other pc is all ok.

You can find OracleDatabaseExpressInstall.log in the %SystemRoot% directory, not in in the "temp" Directory. Often the %SystemRoot% is C:\WINDOWS.
Do you use a "Local Administrator" to install XE ?

Acrobat reader X (10.01) upgrade fails, new install also fails.

Acrobat reader 9.4 upgraded itself to reader X ( 10.01 ) Fails to work.
It appeared to finish fine.
But the program will not run when I click on the desktop icon.
I uninstalled it, reinstalled it again, same result It will not run.
I then went to your ftp site downloaded it form there installed it it still does not run,
I uninstalled it, downloaded 9.4 form the ftp site, It installs and runs fine.
There is no way to send you diagnostic info to adobe as I cannot find an email adress to use.!!!!
I am using windows XP and have acrobat standard 7.1.4 also installed to generate pdf files.
Why does reader 9.4.0 work fine and reader 10.01 fails to work?
I wonder how may people have this problem?

Movies fail to completely load on ATV2???

I've recently begun having problems with my ATV2.
When I rent/download an HD movie (my DL speed is 20 Mbps/fiber--verified by speedtest.net) the movie will only partially download.
The movie will only play for about the first 15-20 minutes and then the screen goes black. When I hit menu, the menu options all pop up so I don't think it is an HDMI issue. Also, I can start over from the beginning, and the movie plays fine; but again stops at the same exact place. This has happened with 3 different HD movies. If I go to the scene menu, I can select any scene, but scenes after the stopped point will not play (the timer bar carat does move and mark the time but the movie will not play beyond the point where it arbitrarily stops, and I am left with only a blank, black screen). Scenes before the stopped point can be selected and will play normally.
The movie shows as "rented and available"
To date, I have:
- Reset ATV2 to factory settings
- Unplugged, and replugged the ATV2
- Requested (and recieved) refunds from Apple.
Help?

If it happened with several seems unlikely to be the films themselves.
Try renting from itunes and then playing (once downloaded) via Computers>iTunes library>Rentals to see if it helps - trouble is some content is not available in HD in iTunes (at least in UK).
You might want to try to factory restore by hooking the device up to computer with iTunes running using a microUSB lead (no other leads) in case the software is corrupted.

Keep getting message Adobe Reader failed to download core DLL

I have Adobe Reader and I use Widows 7. I had used the Adobe Reader with no problems, however, just recently, when I tried to open the program, I got the message "because of compatibility problems, Adobe Reader cannot open in protected mode", so I clicked the option to allow it to open without protected mode, and I keep getting the message "Adobe Reader failed to download its core DLL". How can I fix this? Thanks

IDP_JMS_Bus / messaging engine failure on new install

I am trying to get a new install of 8.2 in a WebSphere 6.1 Win 2003 / SQLServer clustered environment up and running.
Currently the IDP_JMS_Bus will not start, and the SystemOut messages point to "No Messaging Engines running".
I have tried to start the engine, to no avail over multiple reboots.
This install took a number of tries to complete due to installation errors.

Can anyone provide pointers on how to correct this installation?
I have received advice to down the cluster, delete the SIB tables, and restart the cluster, but I do not want to try this without some verification that that is advisable.

If that's the case, it looks like the messaging engine is having trouble getting an exclusive lock on its mesage store tables in the DB (that all start with SIB*):

Since this is a new install, you can safely drop them. Shut down the JMS cluster members, drop all SIB tables, and then start them. Watch the SystemOut.log of the cluster members for messages that tell you that the messaging engine has acquired an exclusive lock on the tables. Only one of the cluster members will have this (since the messaging engine is a singleton and can run on either but not both of the JMS cluster members). If you see that message, check the DB - the SIB tables should be re-created, and you should no longer have this partcular trouble.
Essentially, the MEUUID in the SIBOWNER table and the Messaging Engine's UUID (as determined from the WAS console) should match.

4630 Scan Failed to complete error - OS X Yosemite

I bought the 4630 about a month ago and have tried scanning on 3 different Macs running OSX 10.10.1. The first scan after initial set up works. After that, I get either "The overview scan failed to complete" if the Details window is open or "The scanner failed to complete the scan" if the Details window is hidden. I've tried re-installing the 4630 dozens of times. I just downloaded the last HP software for it. Please help.

I can see you're experiencing scan issues. I'd love to help with that!
I have a few steps I'd recommend:
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates: OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the printer: HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.

New Install..Higher CPU temps??

Just installed a new 80g Hard Drive.. Had to do a fresh install :-).. as it was mentioned here.. gohsting was "iffy"
You guys were absolutely Right.
So: New Drive Fresh XP pro install (Kt3 U2 Board, XP tbrd Cpu.. no overclock anything))
Previous harddrive setup read 35 to 37 C onna PC alert pop up.. New install reads 43 to 46 onna Cpu...Case readout has only gone up maybe 1c.. WHY??
there have been NO other changes except the new WD80JBand a fresh XP install drive. Case was and is Wide open, as in NO sides.
Should I be concerned about this

I have the current setup to get good cooling;
2 x IBM drives with adapters in 5.25" bays, with a "nose fan" taking in air blowing it over the harddrives to keep them cool and take in air into the case.
1 x rear case fan that blows out of the case.
1 x Thermal Take Silent Viking II too cool the CPU, and modded case with holes so that the rather high ducting mod and fan (which makes contact with case side) can take in air from outside the case.
1 Topower 430W PSU with dual fans that exhaust from the case.
This gives me the following temps;
CPU: Idle 43C Load 49C
Chipset: 34
Harddrives: 29 and 28C
Ambient temperature: 26C

The temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inacessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write persimission on the Temp folder.
I tried using different acoount and also i tried installing .msi version but i'm getting page not found error.please help me.I'm using windows 8.

You get that error with a corrupt download. If you aren't out of hard drive space, maybe you have some hard drive corruption or malicious or security software installed inhibiting access to your hard drive.
Try running a check disk to resolve hard drive problems:
