Getting a perl error when trying to discover a Weblogic Managed Server

Hi,
Any help working this out would be greatly appreciated. I've searched Oracle Support and here without success so far.
I am trying to add a weblogic 10.3 manager server as a target for the agent on that host. Using Grid Control 10.2.0.5 patch 3 on both the OMS and the agent.
I get past the 2nd screen of the wizard then it fails. So far I've entered hostname, port, credentials for weblogic, then on the next page the credentials for the linux user on the host. Hitting next goes to a clock icon for a few seconds then it fails with:

I understand that when the agent runs the perl script weblogicdiscovery.pl, perl cant find the Find module to include (as instructed on line 2). The file in question exists in /app/oracle/agent10g/perl/lib/5.8.3/File/Find.pm .
I've tried tweaking the PERL5LIB env variable in the shell before I start the agent, and also in the emctl script itself, but neither seems to have any effect on that error message. It at least should have the basic $ORACLE_HOME/perl/lib in the path which is doesn't.
Anywhere else I should look for this variable setting?
Edit: Next question. I've been wondering where those "/ade/smayer_perl58_main_linux/..." paths were coming from as they aren't going to work and I see them (or at least very similar paths) defined in /app/oracle/agent10g/perl/lib/5.8.3/i686-linux-thread-multi/Config.pm . I've checked another linux host with the agent installed and it is the same, so must be defaults from Oracle. Was I supposed to change these after the install? I didn't read that anywhere. Still if we can set PERL5LIB before running emctl this should prepend real paths, right?

Should $ORACLE_HOME/Perl be rebuilt during the agent install? I'm thinking it should because those details in the file point to someone with a username smayer configuring perl as per his environment.

I've located something slightly useful on Metalink. Note ID 762125.1 particularly as we're using delegated privs and sudo.
However, this says this problem is fixed in 10.2.0.5. I'll prod my sysadmins some more on the sudoers configuration.

Right. If you are using delegated privs and sudo, make sure that sudo is configured to pass on the PERL5LIB and ORACLE_HOME environment variables at least.

So I am getting a really odd error when I go to FIM --> Management Agents -->MOSS-guid ID right click on that and choose porperties, then Configure Connection Information, then I click OK and I get this pop up error "the type of 'pictureurl' string

when I searched on that error, it lead me to a ton of blogs that said to do the following:go to FIM --> Management Agents -->MOSS-guid ID right click on that and choose porperties, then Configure Connection Information at the bottom of the page there
is a Connect To field and every blog I read said to change it to direct:{Domain}:{Port}. The thing is that my domain and port were fine, so that is when I clicked ok, and got that error message. Ever since this happened, my FIM has been broken, and I really
can't figure out why???
So I haven't done any updates to the server in at least a year, so nothing could be happening there.
Any help at all with this would be taken with the greatest appreciation.

What you're doing is unsupported. You need to manipulate the MAs via Central Admin -> Manage Service Applications, find your UPA SA and manage it. You can then Manage User Properties and make changes to the Picture property from here.

We are trying to install Adobe Pro 8 and recieve the error message that you have to be an administrator, i have tried using the local admin and the domain admin account...Please advise

We have no idea about your server's configuration or any of that nor should we. That aside you will have to work out your issues yourself. You are a) trying to install an Acrobat version from the stoneage on a relatively modern OS and b) generally Adobe desktop apps are not supported on any server operating system.

I am encountering the same problem -- though with .qfx files from my bank. This worked fine in Firefox 31 ESR, but since upgrading to Firefox 33.0, I get the "<name>.qfx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" when I attempt to download. (I should add that downloading PDF statements from the same site works fine, and that the qfx downloads work fine in IE and Chrome.)
I tried safe mode, it is still broken. Tried v34 beta, no luck. I reverted to version 31, it works again.
I guess I will stick with the older version until a solution is found...or just use an alternate browser to download my financial data.

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

I received this email from Apple and this corrected the problem for me... I only had to reset the iTunes cache
1) Open iTunes
2) At the top menu, click File > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac)
3) In the Preferences menu, click the Advanced tab
4) In the Advanced menu, you should see a button that says "Reset Cache". Please click this button.

Keep getting sync service error when trying to connect my iphone 5S. It freezes itunes and I can't do anything else. I see that there is an update for my phone and I need to back up, upload new apps, etc before installing. I plug my phone in and get this error every time. I am using a Win 7 SP1

It sounds like you are getting an error that mentions the sync services when you connect your phone to your computer and so you cannot sync your device. I would use the troubleshooting from the following article that mentions an error regardign the sync services named:
iTunes for Windows: "Unable to load data class" or "Unable to load provider data" sync services alert

Start with these steps:
1. Check that iTunes is up-to-date
Ensure that you have updated to the latest version of iTunes.
2. Reset Sync History
Resetting your Sync History is a simple step which may resolve some syncing issues. If this works, iTunes will prompt to Merge or Replace the information on your device when you next attempt to sync. To reset your Sync History:
Disconnect your device.
Open iTunes.
From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Devices tab.
Click the Reset Sync History button, and then reconnect your device.
If this resolves the issue, and you know all of your contacts, calendars, bookmarks and notes are on your computer:
Reset the Sync History again using the steps above.
Select the device in iTunes and click the Info tab.
Scroll down to the Advanced section, and under "Replace information on this iPhone/iPad/iPod touch" select Contacts or Calendars.
Click Apply.
If the issue persists, and you know all your contacts, calendars, bookmarks and notes are on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Remove all of the contact and calendar information from Outlook.

Try my script FindTracks. Select a few of the missing files to start with then run the script. Choose No at the first prompt so that you can check how it works track by track, then confirm or edit the location of the media folder where your files are. Once you are happy with how it behaves let it process larger numbers of tracks automatically.
