Getting a repeat download message window asking me to download a new version when Foxfires says i am good with latest download?
while in yahoo where I enter bookmarks to listen to KYW news radio a saved bookmark on foxfire, I keep getting a repeat download message box asking me to download to the newer version, I have done this already, and I went to check my programs and thee is only one foxfire icon, when I check in foxfire help file to check to see if I am current in my new version download it says I am ok. but soon after surfing the net the box appears again asking me to download to the newer version. I am in a catch 22 world.
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
In case you use a bookmark you can try to navigate the this page via its main home entry in case the current bookmark is not longer valid.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I can't Start, Uninstall of Install new iTunes. I'm getting the same error message: "Window Installer Service could not be accessed". No other programs having similar problem. Any suggestions how to fix it?

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of numbers on my mac. Everytime I save and then try to reopen that document, I receive a message telling me that I need a new version of numbers. Also, when I try to sort the date column, it sorts out of order. The last version sorted fine.

When you install the new iWork version, the old iWork version is kept, so it looks like you are opening your old version.
To fix this, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version to the Dock, so you can access to it quickly. Open all documents from this version. I don't recommend you to delete the old Numbers version in case you need it.

Also, I can seem to down load my Adobe Flash, I did download what I thought was the correct down load for Safari, but I'm still getting this message "We're sorry but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar." Opening my iPad2 I have an "Exchange " window asking me my password. I'm (almost) sure I type the good one, but it doesn't accept it. Unable to go around it, so iPad useless... How can I recover/check my password on my home PC (or make that window disappear ?
That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it... -
I have not been able to install Max OS X Lion because in the process the following message was displayed:
"THE SOFTWARE COULD NOT BE VERIFIED. IT MAY HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED OR TAMPERED WITH DURING DOWNLOADING"
How can I solve this?
Note: I trashed the download and tried re-downloading but this effort was unsuccessful.Since writing my original post I decided to send the following message to Mac App Store Customer Support:
"I have had to download this file from the app store at least ten (10) times. I try to install the file but I keep getting the message "The software could not be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading."
I then delete the same file and try another attempt at a different time of day. Most recently following Apple Support's advice I contacted my ISP to clear the file cache but they could only clear my browser cache. I have deleted my com.apple.appstore. folder which contains app store cache, also com.apple.appstore.plist and tried again to no avail. I have wasted hours doing all this and I now want my money back please. You can keep this software update until you release it on disk like Snow Leopard which installed like a dream. I'm very disappointed with Apple that they expect the purchaser to do all the work trying to diagnose their software installation issue. Nice idea but poorly executed has been my experience."

where do I get the new serial number? Instructions say it was provided with the download for CS2. I don't see it anywhere.
If the serial numbers were prominently listed, I wouldn't be in here asking questions. The instructions said the serial number would be emailed to me or show up in my account. I got neither one. I tried the one off the original CS2 Premium CD box,

Are you sure you have the newest version of iTunes 11 and newest version of iOS6? Go to Software Update and make sure you do.
