Getting Access Error when playing Spotify Connect on Yamaha AV receiver

I having problems when playing Spotify Connect on my Yamaha AV receiver (RX-A1030).
It starts playing (from iPad and iPhone) as supposed. But after about 30-60 seconds it stops playing and the message "Access Error" shows in the receivers display. Then I must pause and start play again. Then it will play for about 5 seconds. I have had this problem since the first day the new firmware was released.
I have tried every solution with no luck. I have been in contact with the Yamaha store and they advised me to get in contact with the Spotify helpdesk.
I can however play music from Spotify by using Airplay without any problem. But the real reason I bought this receiver was to achieve the Connect function.

The exact same thing happend to me yesterday.
I have a new RX-V475 which worked fine from 2014-07-04 until 2014-07-06.
When i came back to my flat on 2014-07-13 it wasn't working anymore.
The reciever is coming on and off in the spotify device list. It's not playing anything from spotify though webradio is working fine.
Therefore the network connection should be fine.
The reciever is shortly showing the message "access error"
A reboot of the router and a firmware update of the reciever did not help at all.
I also disconnected the recievers power supply, to force a reboot of it.
I have the newest spotify version installed on an android tablet. (I remember, there was an update to spotify sometime between 2014-07-05 and 2014-07-13) and an older version on my smartphone. Both are not working.
Was there any change on the spotify side server-wise?
The next step for me is to reset the reciever to factory settings.
Do you think, this might help?
Any suggestions?

NEither did deleting all data and reinstalling the app.

    You may want to restart the iPad and restart your computer as well. You can always download the updates in iTunes on your computer and sync them that way - but that does not solve the problem - it just gets you the updates.

  • Get an error when testing the connection

    I'm using the B1i with SBO 2007.
    I'm able to create my own system. I filled in everything except under the field "jcoPath". Do we need to fill in the rest???

    Thank you for your response, greatly appreciated. If i go to the path you suggest below I do not have the JCO lobaries there.
    Mine is under C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\DI API\JCO\LIB because they have changed the file tructure slightly in SAP 2007.
    I agree that this should be added but it is still not working.
    Any other ideas???

  • Some users get forbidden error when trying to connect to remote panel

    I have an application that is running LV 8.2.1 and using DSC.  The application can be viewed and controlled through a remote panel.  The issue is that certain people cannot access the webpage, even though I have not restricted it.
    I have traced it down to one subnet in our factory that cannot view the panel (the panel can only be viewed internally to the company).  I can set up anyone else in the building on different subnets, and they can view it perfectly, but this one subnet cannot get access.  My IT department says that there is no special firewall or security settings on any of the subnets, and that they are all the same, just have the subnets set up to better know what part of the building the user is in (ie subnet 27 is purchasing, 28 is engineering, etc).
    I have tried rebooting the computer, unplugging the ethernet cable and replugging it back in while restarting (NI said that should clear any blocked ip address from the remote server).
    Has anyone else had a similar issue??

    Hi Kenny,
    This is an interesting problem.  Could you try running a different VI on the malfunctioning subnet just to make sure that there isn't something odd in your code that is causing this?  I would be interested to know if you can get anything at all to function on that particular subnet.  Also, are you guys using Windows XP across the board?

  • I get "Reading Error" when using USB connection from Ipod Touch to car radio. Any ideas?

    I am trying to connect an IPOD Touch with my car radio via USB port.  Using proper cable which works.  When I connect the auto radio automatically tries to hook up with the Ipod but then displays "reading error"

    The the car-system manyfacturer say it will work with your model iPod and its iOS?

    Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    Hello.  I am using Windows Vista 32 bit
    I am attempting to connect to Skype through my microsoft account, and I am getting the following message.
    "Sometimes the internet gets a bit sleepy and takes a nap. Make sure it’s up and running then we’ll give it another go."
    I have checked my Internet Explorer LAN settings and have not been able to determine an issue.  My IE is version 9.0.8112.16421
    If there is a clue, Yahoo Messenger has also recently stopped working.

    I just fixed this myself.  I went into Internet Explorer, the went to Internet Options - Advanced - enabled 'Use TLS 1.0'

    I am getting "getting info when trying to play quick time player videos and it never plays. I am using a dial up netzero hispeed. I was wondering how do I set up the setting for quick time player, so that it plays with my netzero internet provider? Any suggestions? Please reply I would truly appreciate your help.

    hmmmm. perhaps try (experimentally) disabling the Netzero web accelerator. do you still get the error when playing the internet videos?

    I was having this problem. The settings on my wireless router was set to hide my IP address so it wouldn't connect. When I changed that, I connected no problem. While this is annoying since I don't want my IP address to be out there, I just switch my router when I need to connect to the App/iTunes Store. Hope this helps. It worked for me.
