Getting alert in WCS- DoS: CTS flood

Hi Experts ,
I have WCS 7.0.172.0 where as i have very frequent alert about DoS : CTS flood
In channel 60, the system has detected 212 CTS frames in the last minute, which matches the traffic pattern of the form of denial-of-service attack, CTS (Clear-To-Send) attack. A wireless denial-of-service attacker may suspend the wireless media for communication by taking advantage of the privilege of CTS frame to reserve RF medium for transmission. By transmitting back to back CTS frames, an attacker can force other wireless devices sharing the RF medium to hold back its transmission until the attacker stops transmitting the CTS frames.
The system detects the abuse of CTS frames for denial-of-service attack.
I dont know , how can stop getting this alert.
Please suggest me for the same.

If you go security-->wireless protection policy-->standard signature
You will see a list of signatures. Your CTS alert is in one of them, which one is the question. Is my guess ... Unless you have custom one set up ?

Why do I keep getting alerts for shared calendars?

I have a calendar set up in Calendar, it syncs with iCloud.
My wife has a clanedar set up in Calendar, it syncs with iCloud.
Both calendars are shared, so we can see what the others availability is on a given day at a given time.
But why do I keep getting alerts on my iPhone (and only on my iPhone) for my WIFE's events? I've turned off the "show shared calendar events" button in the calendar preferences on my iPhone, but I'm *still* getting alerts for all her events. I don't need this, I don't want this, I turned it off... why is it still happening?
My iCloud calendar is defaulted to my calendar. I do not get alerts on my iMac for her events, only on the iphone. Can anyone help? I never want to see her events unless I manually go and look at them on my calendars or in iCloud calendar.

Your System Details list shows that you use a Firefox 31.0 release.
That is not the current release.
The current release is Firefox 34.0.5.
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

I configured Alerts in PI 7.0. with the help of t-code u2018ALRTCATDEF and created a new alert catergory.
In container tab i have mentioned all give below elements.
SXMS_MSG_GUID, SXMS_RULE_NAME, SXMS_ERROR_CAT, SXMS_ERROR_CODE, SXMS_FROM_PARTY, SXMS_FROM_SERVICE, SXMS_FROM_NAMESPACE, SXMS_FROM_INTERFACE, SXMS_TO_PARTY, SXMS_TO_SERVICE, SXMS_TO_NAMESPACE,SXMS_TO_INTERFACE
I am getting alerts when I manually test the alerts configurations by running the report u2018RSALERTTESTu2019.

I am not getting alert mail when my messages failed in adapter engine and Integration Engine.
Ex my message is failed in AE:as below.
My messages flow as : SAP --> XI --> DB.
Messages is success (in ECC moni)> XI moni also success> XI Adapter engine getting error as (Status: System Error) and (Error Category : XI_J2EE_ADAPTER_JDBC).

No changes were made. I saw in one of the threads where someone said to repair the database(which didn't work) or Rebuild the database(which did work). Thanks to one all for the support.

Not getting alerts even after applied the monitoring policy on user defined group.

Hi,
recently we have installed OEM Ops center 12c for monitoring our oracle servers. I have created a user defined group and applied a userdefined monitoring policy on that group. I have threshold 70% as crtical and 50 % as warning in my monitoring policy.
Some of my servers are having 77% disk utlization and im not getting any alerts for that.
What will be the problem?
When i see the membership of particular group (group -> membership in center pane), im not able to see the monitoring policy name on the monitoring policy column but i have applied policy on that group.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the response.
You are right. I was sending personalized iBot to group 'Financial Analyst'. A non-OBI user(Reshmi) belongs to this group.
But still problem has not been completely resolved.Still users in group either Administrator/Financial Analyst not getting alert via mail.
Atleast the users in Administrator group should get alert via mail, since both are defined in rpd.
Now when i send non-personalized ibot to group 'Financial Analyst', All the users other than Reshmi get alert on their dashboard but they don't get alert
via mail.Also Reshmi does not get alert via mail and error file shows error like -
No devices for user: Reshmi.
Now i am not getting the error nQSError: 43001 Authentication failed for Reshmil in repository Star: invalid user/password. (08004)
which i was getting earlier while sending personalized ibot.
I have already defined the Mail tab contents using Job Manager. Also i have selected User Destinations both Interactive Dashboard and Active Delivery

How to get alerted or notified when db goes offline

I am basically looking for solution for the below problem.
Is there a nice way for a DBA to get alerted/notified as and when a database is not accessible for any reason(say offline,suspect,restoring...) DBA has to get alerted. I am working on sql2k5 and sql2k8 environments.Also looking for a solution which work
across all Edition and not just Enterprise Edition like Policy based managment or so..
So, Is there a nice way through which we can achieve this using native tsql programming and alerting system combined with database mail functionality? If have done it in your past, please do share views and ideas.
Again, I am not looking for any 3rd party solutions.

even maybe not on Windows (I faced this on Unix), proceed with invalid objects as in : Note 1453935 - Invalid DataPump objects after Windows patch collection > 25
this is the leftover of some previous 10g patching. Once objects are recreated, recompilation will go ok.

What data do I need to remove from my laptop as I am getting alerts that my start-up disk is almost full. I have been deleting emails (I still have 4000+ in my inbox).
Also, I have been unable to download software updates nor been able to download more photos from my iPhone because there is too much on my hard drive. I don't know what to delete. I have no books or movies on laptop.

Orchestrator/SCOM 2012 and UTC Time for Get Alert

We are currently moving to using Orchestrator to act as a connector between SCOM 2012 and Unicenter for ticket generation. Right now, the runbook that I have built out does the following.
Monitor Date/Time > Format Date/Time > Get Alert
The monitor Date/Time runs every 60 seconds.
Format Date/Time then pulls from a variable that grabs the current time using now(). I then have it adding 4 hours and 55 minutes to the time to set the UTC time to 5 minutes earlier.
Get Alert then looks for all alerts that meet a specific criteria. This includes the time and any alert that was generated within the last 5 minutes, which is why I have it currently set to 4 hours and 55 minutes.
In a few months, that's going to break and I'll have to manually update the format date/time to 5 hours and 55 minutes. What I'm trying to find is a way to do this automatically so the runbook doesn't have to be modified. I'm thinking of using
the 'Activity End Time in UTC' from the Monitor Date/Time but want to see if there's any other easier way of doing it.

If the question is to have a an easy way to get only Alerts not already seen with "Get Alert" before:
Use "Update Alert" and update fields like TicketID or ResoultionState after "Get Alert" and exclude this criteria in the Filter tab of "Get Alert" ...

Upgraded to iOS 7, now I do not get alerts when I have voicemails...what can I do?

My wife and I upgraded to iOS seven approximately two weeks ago. But now we do not get alerts when we have voicemails waiting. Also we do not have visual voicemail.... My daughter upgraded to iOS 7 around the same time. And has no problems with either settings. We both upgraded to 7.0.2 approximately one week ago. Did that cause everything to go awry? What should do?

But, seriously...
If you really want to customize the appearance of a dialog, you can make one with DHTML that looks like anything you want. You can make it look like a system dialog if you want, but you don't have to. (In fact, if you make it look like a Windows dialog, it will stick out like a sore thumb if someone is using another OS.)
I had to create some of these for an online testing application I wrote, because they wanted the tests to be timed, and I discovered that, in Internet Explorer, you could stop the clock just by opening certain dialogs, so I had to suppress "right-clicking," remove the menu bars, and use custom dialogs to communicate with the user. Since then I've re-used these dialogs in a number of other projects. They're pretty handy.
