Getting an additional number/line

HI.
I am an existing BT 'phone customer and I want to get an additional number. The only option I can see details about on the BT website concerns an additional 'line', which incurs the normal line rental and possibly an installation charge.
I have a feeling that there are two options available. One might be an additional number, with it's own distinct ring tone and 1571 answering service. I would use my existing 'phone to answer calls to both my current number and the additional one (I don't think I would ever need to make outgoing calls on the new number/line). The other possibility is perhaps the additional 'line' option I mentioned above, which might involve a seperate physical line having to be wired to the house and needing a seperate 'phone.
Can anyone clarify the options open to me and the relevant costs involoved?

Check number not getting updated in vendor line items

Hi
I am giving check to vendor. Hence i am assigning manual checks in FCH5. Then i did FCHU. After i did FCHU, my check number got updated in assignment field in bank line item. But i am getting problem for vendor line item.
My vendor line item is not updated with check number. Hence i am unable to see what check number is issued against which payment document. I do not want to go in each every document and then click on environment and check information.
I tried with check register also, but i am not getting vendor wise bank details smoothly.
So i want to know how can i get check number in FBL1N vendor-wise. Is there any standard report?

You should activate the PAYR-CHECF in FBL1N report. Execute FBL1N report for a vendor and go to Menu->Settings-> Special Fields. A new screen would open. There add the table PAYR and field CHECF. Save and exit out. Now the check number should be displayed in FBL1N report.

Additional phone line for phone system

Good Morning All,
I recently purchased a BT Micro system phone system via eBay and it came with some handsets also.
The phone system has dual line support.
I already have one BT line for Broadband and calls (analogue) and I was wondering if it would be possible to order an additional auxilary line as I think they are known for the phone system to be able to make and recieve calls if one line is busy but still have it on the same circuit number as the current line.

I tried to order one but an error message said I had to call 0800800150 because I already have a package with BT.
I think auxiliary lines are business based to be honest so that may be why you hadn't heard of it.
I know the difference between auxiliary lines and broadband talk. Auxiliary lines allow you to have two or more lines with the same number.
So one main analogue line with a number and then another 1 or more auxiliary lines with the same number so that callers can get through if one line is busy. Some auxiliary lines don't allow calling features like 1471. A phone system I used presented the message sorry the service requested is not available, thank you for calling,please hang up when in tried to do 1471 on an auxiliary line instead of the main analogue line.

but the problem with the above code is I am using variants to execute the report but when the above piece of code is getting executed it is clearing all the variant values on the selection screen and it is defaulting the values on the selection screen.
Is there any way i can execute the above code without any problem in the selection screen.

I wouldn't SUBMIT the same program to get the Spool number. You can achieve the same by [NEW-PAGE PRINT ON|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_702/en/abapnew-page_print.htm#!ABAP_ADDITION_1@1@] command.
Check the code snippet i've provided below:

Ship to party PO number line item field updating in ORDERS IDOC

Hi Experts,
We are in the process of creating the Sales order by receiving EDI data from customer and converting in to IDOC format and trying to create the sales order. While executing the ORDERS IDOC message type sales order is getting created successfully.
But our requirement is, we want to store the customer contract details in the sales order. So we identified the "Ship to Party Purchase Order data" in ORDERS Tab in the sales order. While executing, in the Header level the Contract number is getting updated against Ship to party Contract number field.
But during item level process, system is not updating the contract line item number field even though we maintained the value in E1EDP02-ZEILE for the QUALF 044.
Note: The similar scenario, we want to capture the Customer Purchase order number & line item number. For this we maintained the value in E1EDP02-ZEILE for the separate QUALF, its working fine.
Kindly give your valuable feedback on this issue also

How can I get a serial number for Illustrator CS5 when I have a complete CC subscription?
I have a GCC Expert 24 plotter running on OS X and the direct cut plugin is only compatible with CS5 or earlier.
I have tried asking in support chat but it never actually works, my next option is to ring or get a cracked version but i'm trying to avoid both of those options if I can.

CASE 1. In My Case One single PO is having Multiple GRN each GRN amy Have Single MIRO number or Multiple MIRO Number.
I ll get this By Using PO with Line Item Number this is not an Issue.
CASE2. In One PO Multiple GRN is there and One Single ITEM is having Two GRN Number, Each GRN is having single Accounting Number (MIRO) number.
Tell me how can i do this
actually I am using RSEG and BKPF table to get accounting Number.
Which table i have to use to get the Accounting number by using GRN number.

This is very strange problem that I am encountering. Would like to hear from you, if you have also witnessed something similar:
What I am doing:
basically I am doing something like:
Select x,y,z,count(distinct a) from
taba,tabb,(select col1,col2 from tabc) tc,
tabd left outer join tabe on tabd.col=tabe.col,
viewf
where (joins between the tabs)
group by x,y,z
All the join columns are number(10,0) in all the tables/views.
If I run this query I get an invalid number 01722. If I comment the count(distinct a) column, the query runs fine.
Or if I put the to_number for all the joined columns in the where clause, the query runs fine.
I have never seen such behaviour of Oracle database. May be I am doing something really wrong?

Well, I do not think it is related to GROUP BY or to DISTINCT. Most likely you have some column X that holds both numeric and non-numeric strings and some other column that indicates if column X value is numeric. If this is the case, you can get ORA-01722 simply becuase Oracle does not apply where clause predicates in the order they are listed. Assume column c1 holds numeric strings when column c2 is set to some specific value. Even if you use:
WHERE c2 = 'some-value'
AND TO_NUMBER(c1) = 5
it is not guaranteed Oracle will first check c2 and only then c1. And if Oracle decides to check c1 first, TO_NUMBER will fail on the first non-numeric c1. Especially it can happen in not very recent Oracle versions. In recent versions most of the time optimizer is smart enough to realize that checking c2 costs less that converting c1 to number and then checking it, so it will check c2 first. Anyway, you need to use ORDERED_PREDICATES hint to let optimizer know to follow predicate sequence. For example, in 9i:
SQL> create table tbx(flag varchar2(6),value varchar2(10))
2 /
Table created.
SQL> insert into tbx values('alpha','abc');
1 row created.
SQL> insert into tbx values('number','123');
1 row created.
SQL> commit;

As far as I know, a text file has no columns. Please be more specific. Do you mean something like the 5th word on line 4, where words are separated by a space, and lines are separated by a newline character? You could the Read from Spreadsheet String function and set the delimiter to a space. This will produce a 2D array of strings. Then use index array and give the line number and column number.

Letters in number line

Every once in awhile my 8110 goes into a mode where I can only type letters into a number line like dialing a phone number. I have been pulling the battery to reset the phone when this happens. Is there a way to maunally switch it out of this mode?

Press the green key and type a, that should bring up your first contact starting with a.
If you start to dial with out hitting an alpha character, do you still get letters?
If so you are almost certainly holding down the shift key and that will get you letters.
Just FYI the shift keys are the last key on the bottom row each on left and right
