Getting APP-AR-11228: Please define all periods....When saving transaction

EBS R12.1
I got this error:
ERROR:  AP-AR-11228.  Please define all periods in which revenue is to be recognized or credited.
Note that revenue cannot be recognized or credited in closed and close pending periods.Showing the RULES tab on the transaction lines form after entering the memo lines details, with rule used and rule start date.
a) Rules
3 Month Def last12
b) Transaction Header: Invoice 123 with the Same Invoice type, Customer and Payment Terms but without the Invoicing Rule. Date is 15-Apr-2010. Note that this Invoice is Complete.
Transaction Header: Invoice 125 with the Same Invoice type, Customer and Payment Terms but with the Invoicing Rule = In Arrears. Date is 01-Jan-2010. Note that this Invoice is incomplete as the error appears when the line is saved.
c) Transaction Line Items:
Transaction Lines: Invoice 123 with the Same Invoice type, Customer and Payment Terms but without the Invoicing Rule. Date is 15-Apr-2010. No Rules.
Transaction Lines: Invoice 125 with the Same Invoice type, Customer and Payment Terms but without the Invoicing Rule. Date is 01-Jan-2010. With the 3 Month Def last12 Rule:
