Getting Audigy 2 ZS working in Real-Mode MS-

Is it as all possible to force Audigy 2 to work in DOS mode? I am aware that Audigy was the last set of drivers that worked for DOS but I ran across a patch that helped MS-DOS utilize Audigy drivers for Audigy 2 cards. I have the patch, it's just a matter of trying to find Audigy drivers. Unfortunately every Audigy driver set I've come across doesn't have the DOSDRV folder that I need.
I have two different versions of DosBox installed but both versions still crash most of my DOS games, hence why I made a real-mode MS-DOS 6.22 partition. I tried using SB Li've DOS drivers but apparently they don't work with Audigy.

If you can't find them in the Internet, I can send them to you... You need the Audigy Drivers for them to initialise, but because Audigy 2 has some pin differences to the original, you also need a patch to actually get sound out of the speakers. The drivers include the patch and also do simple upmixing if you use a 5. system.

Try downloading and using VLC. It is a very popular media player that plays just about every file format out there. That way you would not need to convert it.

Can't get my TC to work in Bridge mode...

I installed Time Capsule TC to my exsisting network, that has a Linksys router. Can't get my TC to work in Bridge mode. Suggestions?
I have the TC directly connected to the router and want to use the TC for wireless Time Machine back ups and to share other hardrives via
the network. I also have an old airport express for airplay speakers in one room. And an airport extreme that I thought I had set up to extend
the network wirelessly. I have yet to find a concise and clear list of steps to make this happen.
Any help would be appreciated.

The problem is the steps changed with the new airport utility..
I can tell you the steps on a 5.x utility. If you run Lion then download the real tool.

I've tried everything to get my phone out of recovery mode but nothing is working.

I recently started updating my phone to I.O.S 8.1.3, and it was downloading and updating fine, then it said it had an error updating. I turned it off and on again to see if that would work, and when I clicked install it showed up as if it was turning off. It then showed up that I needed to connect to iTunes. So I did, and it said it was in recovery mode, and that I needed to restore. So I tried that and it said multiple times, when I got part way through the restoration, that the network had timed out when it hadn't. So I researched ways to get it out of the recovery mode.
I've tried:
holding down home and lock button
holding down lock and volume button
downloading tinyumbrella, however it wouldn't let me open it
Putting it into DFU mode and restoring
Nothing is working! I don't know what to do, I need my phone for when I'm travelling and now I don't have one.
Anyone got any more ideas? I'll be incredibly grateful.
If I can't get this to work I've wasted £200 of money on a phone that decides it's logical to kill itself. I won't be doing that again.

I was trying to download TinyUmbrella because some people have said it basically kicks phones out of recovery mode, and I did try that but it hadn't worked, it kept loosing connection with the phone even though it was connected.
I took the phone to the O2 shop and they did something to restore it, so it's working fine finally thanks for replying!

When I switch my time capsule to 5.0ghz mode the range of my wireless network drops significantly. Near the Time Capsule my Macbook Pro works fine, in my bedroom I have almost no signal. In mixed mode it works fine. Any ideas on how to get 5.0 working?

I'm not sure if you understand that 5 GHz has some upsides, but also some very significant downsides.
The upside is that the 5 GHz signal will allow faster speeds.
The downside is that you must always give up something in order to gain something else.Unfortunately, the marketing hype about 5 GHz does not go into very many details about this.
In the case of 5 GHz, the 5 GHz signals are much weaker than 2.4 GHz signals, so they do not travel as far or penetrate any obstructions like walls or ceilings nearly as well as 2.4 GHz signals. In many cases, in order to get good 5 Ghz performance, you literally have to have almost a line-of-sight relationship between your computer and the wireless router.
If you have a new dual band router, which broadcasts both a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal simutaneously, your Mac will connect to the best signal quality automatically depending on its location in relation to the router. In the same room, without any obstructions, it will connec to 5 GHz. But, take the laptop down the hall a few rooms and around the corner and the Mac will connect to the 2.4 GHz signal because at that location, the 2.4 GHz signal is not only stronger, it is also faster.

You run Windows in Parallels or Fusion. Then in Windows you install the program.

1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
3. Check the USB cable
4 Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

How do I get FF to work with Mod Organizer (for mods used with ES: Skyrim)? I get an error message that it can't understand the address given.

I am an avid Elder Scrolls fan and am using the new STEP 2.2.9 setup. They've gone to Mod Organizer (MO) and I cannot seem to get my FF working with the download mod portion of things. I click the "earth" icon, which takes me immediately to the Nexus Mod files page but when I choose a file to download after clicking "Download with Manager" I get this error message:

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (nxm) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.
You might need to install other software to open this address.
The address given, when clicking "Download with Manager" begins with nxm://Skyrim/mods/ The address is such due to trying to download with the manager.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! I've pulled my hair out for the last few hours trying to find a fix. I've disabled Adblock, all other popup blockers and enabled the main address in my exception rules. It's just not working. Ugh!

Can't get 5.1 working on Audigy 2

Hi all
I've recently gotten myself an improved Graphics card that allows me to watch hi-def MKV files via Media Player Classic Homecinema. I can't get the surround sound working on them though. I've had a Creative Audigy 2 card for years linked up to an Inspire 6.1 system. I've gotta be honest though, I've always just had the CMSS 3D option activated so, although all the speakers have always worked, it's never been true surround sound. How on earth do I configure everything to get it all working correctly? Is it maybe the Media Player software that's at fault?
Can anyone help...

I can't get the patch select buttons to work in edit mode. When I select any template, the set buttons or the patch buttons don't work at all. My up and down arrows work fine but I need the on screen buttons to be assigned to my footswitch.

In edit mode, at concert level, select the pedal. Then in the screen control inspector, in the mappings tab, select actions>next patch.

Late 09 MB Pro 13" now on Mountain Lion keeps crashing (spinning wheel) and getting VERY hot. Even Safe Mode slow to work. Managed a back up last night and wondering should I put the original ios disc back in to take it back to SL. Advice appreciated!

For past year or so my mac book has been getting gradually worse. Spinning wheel, and overheating, last night I had trouble just getting it to start in Safe Mode (been using the on/off button a lot lately!)
Problem may be related to media - iMovie followed by iPhoto are the most likely programs to bring everything to a stop but not always.
I'm not an expert although I did figure out how to re install the operating system from the partition with help from this forum a couple of months ago but it didn't fix the problem.
The iOS is Mountain Lion (via Lion)
I managed to do a back- up last night and now wondering if I should re- install Snow Leopard from the original discs that came with the laptop.
Got a lot of media on there (replaced the 250gb drive with a Samsung 1tb a while back which is less than half full.
Never had to use any of my back-ups before so:
If I re install the original operating system will I be able to be selective in what I put back on later?
and -
Will there be any issues putting a Mountain Lion back-up into a Snow Leopard iOS?
A lot of whats there isn't needed but don't want to lose it completely.

I can't get my audigy zs pci card to install in VISTA. I've installed, reinstalled the drivers atleast 30 times in several years and vista still can't install them. I've installed and reinstalled all the drivers for my hardware, after every format (sometimes first creative, sometimes last) I've downloaded and installed and reinstalled every release from windows update also. I reformated atleast ten times to get it to work, and nothing still. Presently right now, it is in device manager but not the game port, (has an exclamation point for it). Some times it's in audio console, sometimes it's not. All the cords are connected correctly, all the windows settings are correct. Some times media player plays the song with out and sound, and other times it shows I have no sound device installed. Any advice at all, no matter how stupid it might be would be greatly appreciated. The card works in XP Professional Service Pack 2 (so there is nothing wrong physically with the card). It's in recovery mode. Anything that was on it is already gone.
If you haven't been backing it up, you'll lose it all. In addition, you're going to need to get a SIM card and put it in the phone before you will be able to activate it and use it again, even as an iPod. If the phone is carrier locked, the SIM must be from the carrier it's locked to. (The SIM does not need to be tied to active service, but it must be present.)

If it's showing the red disabled screen due to incorrect passcodes then you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad via your computer's iTunes and restore/resync your content to it

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
