Getting back apps after huge freeze

Hello,
I have an iPod Touch 5Gen, but my problem is universal to other devices using IOS8, so I'm posting here
I have recently switched to ISO8 and I had a major freeze. I had to restore my device and since my device WAS NOT icloud sync because because I only have a 5 GB free plan.... SO...well I lost a lot of data. I'm the only one to blame.
BUT, how can I get back my purchased apps & in apps and other apps that were free at the time and are not anymore ?

What I think it could have happened also is the following: When I first bought my device 2 years ago, I used my artistic name for address and information purposes. After I have restored my device this week, I put my real name but I still kept the same icloud username.
If this info can help me get my apps and in apps back.

Hi,
I erased everything off my Macbook Pro to clean it but i used TimeMachine to restore any wanted files and software. However, i can't find where my old notes would be. I've also updated to the latest operating system, which could affect things i'm guessing? Could someone please tell me how i can get my old notes back using TimeMachine or if there is a way at all now that i've update OS?

Unable to get new Apps after purchasing iPod Touch app update

I know this is a frequent topic but I can't help but feel my situation is a little different to others I've read.
After purchasing the app update the new apps failed to appear. I also had a USB port problem at the time that prevent a correct sync - after switching ports everything is fine again - except for the new apps.
On each subsequent sync itunes attempts to sync the new apps but instead I get :
"Unknown error occurred 0xE8000001"
The only problem is the apps though, any new music, podcasts, movies etc are synced without a problem.
From reading other posts on similar topics I have seen (and tried) the following :
Do a restore - tried more times than I can count.
Make sure you are running up to date iTunes and iPod software - done and done - 7.6 and 1.1.3.
Try a different USB port - I have 8 USB 2.0 ports available (4 sets of 2) none have helped. Neither did my powered USB2 hub. Neither does unplugging everything but the mouse and keyboard. The ports work fine for everything else; mouse, keyboard, gaming claw, ext hard drive (with the exception of the bad one).
Switch off manual management and resync - no help.
Uncheck the checked items only option - no help.
Out of desparation I tried to restore and buy the update again on my MacBookPro but the iTunes store prevented the purchase as I already had it.
I have read that when this error occurs it generally seems to be related to USB power but in those cases it usually means the iPod is not being recognised by iTunes - and I am not having that problem.
Any suggestions anyone can provide would be most appreciated.

I managed to fix this one out by copy the app enabling file (iPod tiuch App Pack 4A93) to the corresponding directory (\iTunes\Mobile Applications) on the Mac and doing an 'erase and sync'.
The apps were promptly synced to the iPod and remained when I resynced on the XP machine.
I noticed this one got a few readers but no responses - has anyone else had the same problem? If you are, I suspect you may be able to get the same result by copying the file and syncing on another PC.

How to get back HDD after ejecting ?

Hi guys,
I tried to import some files into FCE. The files is located in my external HDD.
After clicking click import, the finder comes out & I am supposed to click the icon of the external HDD but I accidentally clicked the triangle icon thus causing the external HDD to eject.
In order to get the icon of the external HDD back again so I can do the import, I restart the whole system but I think this is too time consuming.
Is there a way to get the external HDD back without having to restart the whole system ?

During the check and uncheck things in settings, my sms app or whatever it it in the main menu disappear.
Can anyone help me to get one back. Sure I can send sms trough "Hangout" but I wuld like to have sms back.

How do I get lost apps after iOS 5 installation?

I updated itunes and updated our ipads. I have lost all of my wifes business apps during this process. How do i get it all back to normal? We do have 2 computers authorized to her itunes account. One is her work computer, which she uses and it is full of firewalls and extreme security, the other is our home computer. Help please.

Getting Purchased Apps after Restoring Ipod touch

I purchased apps previously but had to restore my ipod touch. After I restored it the apps and music I purchased through itunes was no longer there, and when I went back to them it tried to make me pay for them again. How do I re-download apps and music I already purchased without purchasing them again?

To replace a deleted application:
On iPod touch: Purchase the app again (you won’t be charged).

Getting back up after disc crash

The hard drive died on my ibook, so I had to have a new one installed and completely reload the software. I had my itunes library backed up on another computer on the network, so was able to import it.
Now when I attach my ipod to the ibook, the ipod says "do not disconnect," and seems to be doing something important, but even overnight it doesn't finish. If I unplug (either before or after dismounting) I can use the ipod, but I can't sync it with the computer, and itunes doesn't seem to see it. If I open the ipod, I see the calendar, etc, but no music.
Should I just wait? How long will it take? Resetting the ipod does not help, and I have the most current software installed.

All of my music is installed in a folder named iTunes Music on a USB external hard drive. Everything was working fine until yesterday. I might have made a mistake. Without the external hard drive attached to my laptop, I downloaded and installed the most recent version of iTunes for windows. With the external drive attached, I opened iTunes and the library is gone and the entire music panel in iTunes is empty. I tried to change the library back to F:iTunes Music, the folder where the music is stored, but nothing happened. What do I do now? Please help.

Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact. Actually, I have the same problem. After a clean install of Mountain Lion only Garage Band and iMovie appear in my purchased list.

How do i get back tabs after f/f is closed by a crash?

After each of the last few F/F updates and after a few Windows updates, my open session was reset. When I look for system restore I cannot find the b****y thing. And this really p****s me off!!
Since F/F has recently been "improved" (like hell it has!!! - even the menu bar is hidden by default amongst most other useful items), I'm guessing Session Restore is also deplaced to improve "my F/F experience".

I use overdrive to checkout books from the library on my ipad. Because of the ios7 update i was told to shut overdrive down and deauthorize adobe then open all back up and log back in. All was good until i tried to log back in to adobe now its telling me incorrect password. I called the library and she gave me the correct password but it still wont let me in. I had earlier purchased an MS office 365 which does not come with an installation cd, just the product key to be entered in the office website, is there anyway I can still use my purchase? I had entered the product key but it said "your microsoft office
isnt connected to this account" when i was logged with the same account which i used to login to MS office. IS THERE ANY WAY?
