Hi, I need help getting some information off my ipad2

Only if you have the code to the game and can manipulate it or the game itself has some sort of mechanism for having the text dumped to a text file somewhere (as in the log most MMOs have).

Printing chat logs from an ipod touch???

My daughter has an ipod touch and has downloaded Goober chat to her ipod. It does store chat logs is there any way these chat logs can be printed? If so please state directions in detail as I don't know how to use the ipod touch clearly. Thanks for any help in advance!!
Also if not knowning how this can be done could anyone tell me where I'd get support for this. Do I need to search for Goober support, which I have and could not find any support for, or is this something i need ot contact iTunes for because they supplied the app? I really really need ot print these chat logs!!

i believe there are apps which enable you to print from the ipod. i've never done it though and i dont know if you would be able to
do you know if your daughter's iPod has the 3.0 software upgrade on it? (it was a paid upgrade, perhaps you paid for it?) if so, you would be able to copy and paste the chat logs into an email and email it to yourself (assuming you/your daughter has an email account set up on the ipod)
to copy and paste, you would need to tap the 'goober app' icon. find the area where chat logs are stored, double tap the screen, then click select all.

Combine Chat Logs from Each User

Hi there,
Is anyone aware of an add-on or method for combining the chat logs of each user into ONE file?
I very rarely leave chat windows open throughout the day, which means that if I have several conversations with one person, I end up with multiple logs for that person in one day. This means that if I need to go back and read someone's log, I have to search through multiple logs if I don't remember the exact time of the conversation that took place. I'd much rather look at one person's entire log over the course of one entire day (at least), if possible.
Can anyone help, or is this impossible? Thanks in advance.

Which version of iChat ?
iChat 5 can be set to display the Last Chat when opening a new Chat with someone (as long as you are Saving Transcripts as well)
iChat 4 can "Remember Open Chats across Launch" which means if you close iChat with a chat open that chat will also open when the Buddy lists appear/iChat is restarted.
I am not aware of anything that can merge several Chats though.

How do I find my saved chat logs from Messages?

People who have Mountain Lion and have "Messages" know that you can't "Save" a chat anymore manually, so I just deiced to save all of my chat logs, but where do I find them on my computer?! Somebody online said you have to go to finder Libray/Messages/Archives but I cant even find my "Library" in my finder!!!! I can't take Mountain Lion........ somebody please help!

Your Home Folder/Library/Messages
Access using Finder > Go Menu > Hold down ALT key > Select the Library that appears > Open Messages
You will then need the Archive folder.

I don't see an option in iTunes to sync them. Also, I don't see a way to sync then to iCloud. They areon my iPad, not in iCloud, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get them to the iCloud.

Get DHCP logs from WLC?

We've got a WLC 4402 running 5.2.157.0, and WCS 5.0.72.0.
We've got a guest wlan that uses web authentication to grant IP addresses for guest users.
We have the WLC syslogging to another server, at syslog level critical.
What we would like to do is get the MAC address of machines that are given DHCP addresses, so that we can tell who is using our wireless, or attempting to.
If syslog isn't how to get this information, is there another show command to see what machines got given DHCP addresses?

You could see this with "show dhcp leases" from the controller's CLI or you should also be able to get this info through SNMP.

How to get the user log from the entried planning data ???

I have requirement to get the last user who in charge in modifying the planning data.
Or in the other words, i'm gonna get the log from the entried planning data.
e.g.
1. Phase 1 - My Friend:

Could i get the log from those records ??
The log can be contain:

I just read the article regarding status and tracking system in BPS, but could i cover that requirement ??
(Because i got that the status and tracking system for creating a workflow for planning).

Is there other way that can fulfill this requirement ???

I work out to plan to store the user created, date created, and planning level information in the log data.
What do you think ..
Is it better to display them in the BEx Report / another manual planning layout ???

Is there a way to get the history from find my iphone?

My iPhone disappeared from my car while it was valet parked at the airport. I did a find my phone when I realized I had left it in the car, and it showed the location to be valet parking lot. I assumed all was well, did a remote lock operation, and enjoyed the vacation. Is there any way to get the log from find my phone to show that it was where it was when I did the find operation?

Does anybody know how to export the events log from a IPS 4260 ?

My company has a Cisco IPS 4260 and we used to get the log from the Cisco Security Manager but since July the software failed and now (December) I need to get / export the log from July to December that I think it is saved into the IPS. Is it possible? Does anybody know the command to see the saved log or the commands or procedure to export the log into a TFTP or FTP ?

No; That cannot be done. Only through a SDEE server.
Events are stored on a hard drive that the IPS has, if it has not been reloaded they should be there with no issues.
Get the application "IME". If I am not mistaken, you would be able to see those events there and I think there is a way to export them from there.

If you are still using the same computer, and the Skype files are intact, you might try a third-party chat-logging software add-on such as freeware from Nirsoft. Instant message chat history is stored on the computer used.

You cannot use iCloud.com on a mobile device. It is meant to be accessed on a computer - not the iPad.
There is almost no reason at all why you need to access the account from the iPad since you can do everything on the iPad itself. If you update a Pages document on the iPad it syncs to the cloud automatically so that you can access it from your Mac using a web browser. If you revise the file on the Mac and upload it to your icloud.com account - the file appears with the revisions in the Pages app on the iPad. There is no need to download the file from icloud.com - it just appears in Pages automatically when you upload the file on the Mac.

Your contacts should still be on whatever program you sync your iphone to (i.e. Outlook, address book).
The iphone is not a stand alone device. It is designed to be synced with a computer. If you have not been syncing with a compatible program, then you are out of luck. Your contacts are not included in the back-up because it is meant to be synced with your computer.

Getting no output from java.util.logging.FileHandler

I am new to Java as is the company I work for, but we have just landed a contract that specifies J2EE as the platform, so here we are. :-) Please bear with me.
I have been charged with determining our logging architecture and it looks like what is available in java.util.logging will do well (though we may use log4j). However, at this point I am just trying to get anything to work and not having much luck.
We are using JSF on the front end and I have created a very simple JSF page to test logging. The relevant code is below and I hope will be self explanatory: This code is not meant to be efficient or anything. It is just a proof of concept.

I have also deployed the test app to a tomcat 5.0.28 server and get similar results. The only difference is I get only one two log files and the second one remains empty.
Any assistance or suggestions as to what direction I should be taking would be appreciated.

Do not use default logger as getLoggers[0] , but use your java.util.Logger.FileHandler and add filehandler object to log your fButtonActions and you do not need to mess with logger.properties too.
