Getting Composer on Purchased Songs

I am not getting the name of the composer on any of the songs I buy through iTunes. Is there something I need to do to have them show up or is this an iTunes thing?

Not all composer are shown on the file, especially if the song is a genre of rock, pop, country, and the like. I have been purchasing songs off iTunes for a while and it is rare to see composers shown, only artists are there. I do find classical music files show composers and thats is not true for every song.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

If possible you need to upgrade OS X. However, what you can upgrade to is dependent on what your Mac hardware and configuration is which you have not provided in your profile.

  • How do I authorize my new computer to get my previous purchased songs?

How do I authorize my new computer to get my previous purchased songs on ipod?

    Authorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

Can I get to my purchased songs from another computer????

As King Penguin alluded to earlier:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

  • How do you get back your purchased songs after you have restored your ipod?

hi my name is meagan i just restored my ipod and all my (purchased songs , videos , etc.) are gone and i just called the apple hot line and they told me this would be the best way and that you guys can help get my purchased songs back this would be greatly appreciated:) please let me know as soon as possible

    Hi Meagan,
If you have sync'd / transferred the songs to iTunes prior to the restore (they would be listed under iTunes Store or within your library if so) then you can easily sync these across. If, however, you don't you will need to get in contact with iTunes Store Support so as that they can look at possibly reauthorising a download of them for you.
As an aside, with any purchases you ever make regularly backup and transfer the purchases from your device to your computer. That way you shouldn't lose them

  • How in the world to get rid of purchased songs on my iPhone?? :(

    Hello,
I use my iPhone in my car to play songs.  No matter what I try (I've researched other posts and feedback on those posts), the purchased songs reappear and show up in my playlist in my car.
I have a 2014 BMW - not sure if it varies by car or system or something.  I don't plug in the phone; it connects wirelessly.
PLEASE help!!!  The purchased songs are all for my kids and I don't want to hear them anymore!!!
    I have a 6 Plus

Can you see the songs on your phone? If they are on your phone they will show up in your car. The only way to remove them from the car is to remove them from the phone.
How do you get your music on the the phone? There are 3 options: Sync selected songs from iTunes on your computer; Manually Manage music in iTunes on your computer and drag it to the phone; or buy them directly on the phone. There's one additional way that songs can end up on your phone: In Settings/iTunes & App Store if Automatic Downloads is ON then any music purchased by anyone sharing your account will automatically be downloaded to your phone.

  • I can't remember the security questions and recovery email has been shutdown. How can I get back to purchasing songs, apps, etc.?

I don't remember the security questions and my recovery email has been shut down after years of no activity. What can I do to get back to purchasing music, apps, etc.?

The Three Best Alternatives for Security Questions and Rescue Mail
        1. Use Apple's Express Lane.
Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the
bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then
'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Forgotten Apple
ID security questions' and click 'Continue'. Please be patient waiting for the return
phone call. It will come in time depending on how heavily the servers are being hit.
         2.  Call Apple Support in your country: Customer Service: Contact Apple support.
         3.  Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions.
A substitute for using the security questions is to use 2-step verification:

  • HT1491 I can't get all my purchased songs to download into my itunes library.  I tried to download "ALL" and only 44 songs out of 986 downloaded.

I have not been successful  in downloading all of my purchased songs.  I uesd the "download ALL" in the bottom right corner and it shows they have been downloaded, however, when I check certain songs I find I am still missing several dowloads.  Any suggestions ?  when I tried to download them a second time it won't allow it.

What happened to them? They can't just disappear? Have you changed computers or re-loaded the OS since the last time you synced? Do you have a backup of your computer from when they were present in iTunes? Were they ever present in iTunes?

  • How do I get my previous purchased songs from itunes back into my library?

Are you looking on your iPhone in the iTunes app by tapping More at the bottom, then Music>Purchased>Not on This iPhone (at the top)?

  • Replaced HD and now I can't get authorization for purchased songs

I've had to erase & install 2x in the last year and then about a month ago, my HD finally crashed and burned.
Today I tried to play a song I purchased prior to the crash (and backed up on a separate drive) and I'm being told the song is not authorized to play on this computer. When I punched in my ID and password, I get the same window with the following in red type: "Field name: null.java.lang.Exception"
I paid for the song and now I can't play it?

While I'm unsure of the error message, assuming your Apple ID info was correct when you entered it, it sounds to me like you might have hit the limit for the amount of computers which you can authorise a DRM protected (Non iTunes Plus) song for, as each erase & install most likely counted (at least to iTunes) as a new computer and authorisation.
Anyway, your best bet is probably to open iTunes, then on the Store menu, click View My Account, then after signing in, check the number of machines it says are authorised to play music used with this account, assuming that number is five, click the Deauthorize All button. Once that's done, try to play one of the your purchased tracks again, sign in, and hopefully your music should play.

  • Getting asteriks on purchased songs from itunes

When synching itunes from my imac to my ipod touch some songs that I purchased in itunes have an asterik next to them. When I locate the file it is not highlighted which leads to a dead end.
What should I do to activate the file?
