Getting Connection error while creating Substituion Rule in UWL

Hi Everybody,
Getting below error while creating Substitution Rules in UWL.
"error for the u201Cconnectionu201D to SAP_R3_Finance ".
Can be able to see all Work Items belongs to me. getting the errror while creating Substitution Rule only..
Could anybody tell me what might be the Reason what steps i need to take to resolve this issue.

Hi Uds,
are you running SOA Suite on a Linux server and not on your PC and just running JDeveloper on your PC?
If so try creating the repository file specifying a directory on the Linux server.
For example to:
/tmp/sample_repository
So Choose 'File' from drop down menu
Enter /tmp/sample_repository
Click on create button
This should create the file called sample_repository in /tmp on the Linux server.
Can you tell us what your environment is?

Getting "SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" error while creating a new layout

Hi,
I deleted a layout from a level. When I tried to create a new layout with the same technical name, I was getting a run time error.
Name of the error : SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
Exception : CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
I went to ST22 and analyzed the dump. I found that the entries for the layout that I deleted were still present in the following 2 tables:
1) UPP_PARAMT
2) UPP_ELEMT
My questions are:
1) Is there any possibilities that I can retrive the layout that I deleted with the help of the entries present in the above tables?
2) Can I remove the entries from these two tables so that I can create a new layout with the same technical name?

DSO error while creating update rules

Hi All,
i am new to BI 7.0 , while creating update rules for datastore object , i have given the infosource name, and tried to activate it, then i got the error,
ERROR: infoobject 0recordmode is missing from the infosourse
Can any one help, points are assured for the suggestions

Hi,
Add 0recordmode info object to your info source and again try to create DTP, 0recordmode is requried in DSO to keep data with history.(like before image,after image,etc), by adding this you dont have any problem, at the time of creating info source itself system will prompt you that this info object is missing do you want to add here say yes.

Getting following error while creating a datasource connection with oracle database.

I have 32 bit oracle server installed in remote server.
and 64 bit sql server 2008 r2 report server installed, and 64 bit oracle client installed on my report server while create a new datasource
in the report server i am getting this error
Error
Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle
client components installed
How can i fix this and let me know the reason

Getting 401 error while creating a Report Data Source with MOSS 2010 Foundation

I have setup SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services with SharePoint 2010 Foundation in SharePoint integrated mode. SharePoint Foundation is in machine 1 whereas SQL Server 2008 R2 and SSRS Report Server are in machine 2. While configuring Reporting
Services - Sharepoint integration, I have used Authentication Mode as "Windows Authentication" (I need to use Kerberos).
My objective is to setup a Data Connection Library, a Report Model Library, and a Reports Library so that I can upload a Report Data Source, some SMDLs, and a few Reports onto their respective libraries.
While creating the top level site, "Business Intelligence Center" was not available for template selection since SharePoint Foundation is being used. I therefore selected "Blank Site" as the template.
While creating a SharePoint Site under the top level site, for template selection I again had to select "Blank Site".
I then proceeded to create a library for the data connection. Towards this, I created a new document library and selected "Basic page" as the document template. I then went to Library Settings for this newly created library and clicked on
Advanced Settings. In the Advanced Settings page, for "Allow management of content types?" I selected "Yes". Then I clicked on "Add from existing content types" and selected "Report Data Source". I deleted the existing
"Document" content type for this library.
Now I wanted to created a Data Connection in the above Data Connection library. For this when I clicked on "New Document" under "Documents" of "Library Tools" and selected "Report Data Source", I got the error "The
request failed with HTTP status
401: Unauthorized.".
Can anybody tell me why I am getting this error?
Note: I have created the site and the library using SharePoint Admin account.

Error while creating settlement rule

We are trying to create a Settlement Rule for a Production Order for material 900010001 with following details:
Cat:MAT
Settlement Receiver:900010001
% :100
Settlement Type:FUL
System is giving an error msg. no.KD063 'Distribution rule for an Article can only be created automatically'.
Can anyone help us in analysing the same.
We want that while creating a Production Order Settlement Rule shall be created by default for Cat:MAT & Settlement Receiver:900010001 (Material of Production Order).Can anyone guide us how the same can be achieved.

please try this....Goto KSR2_VBP.
THere are two strategies.. 01 and 02.
01 for manual creation of settlement rules
02 for auto creation..
first check whether 01 and 02 are in your plant.
Sales and distrib....basic functions......auto gen. of settlement rules.......
here you ll find two activities.
(1)maintaining the settlement strategies and
(2)activating one among them.
If you activate 02, your problem will be solved..

The settlement profile is to be defined for thee particular Order Type to generate automatically.
Define Production Order Type in OPJH
Under Cost controlling check the settlement profile .
If not create the same in OPJH.
Settlement Profile: Create settlement profile - SPRO > Controlling > Product Cost Controlling > Product cost by Order > Period End Closing > Settlement > Create Settlement Profile
Enter Settlement profile from OPJH or Choose one for production order
and configure Settlement profile. Indicators

Getting a error while creating a product

I am getting a error "please check the user set up" while creating and updating a product in iStore Administrator. System Admin user is able to create a product and also to update.Even assigned the all the roles and enrollments as such as for system admin user. Still i am getting the error.
please help me out to get red of this error.

As ponited by you, the material type "PROD" is realted with creation of product group.I am able to resolve the error, "actually the work schedulling & MRP views were not activated for "PROD" resulting in the above error.

Error while creating a Rule Group

Hi All,
We are upgrading from 11.5.8 to 11.5.10.
We had some customizations in 11.5.8 which we have to do in 11.5.10 as well.
In 11.5.8, we had a custom form, which was used to add lines to already existing contracts.
We were using Okc_Rule_Pub.create_rule_group to create rule group..
We are facing a problem in 11.5.10 when using the same code to add lines in contracts of category "Service Agreement".
The api Okc_Rule_Pub.create_rule_group is erroring out with message
"Rule Groups/Rules are not allowed for this contract category."
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

I have a similar problem with a package in which we create new contracts. It's working fine in 11.5.9, but after upgrading to 11.5.10 it does not;
My error is : Rule &VALUE is not allowed for this contract category.
Could be the same problem as yours..
How did you solve it ??

Please can you tell me the correct syntax for trimming the Spaces from the beginning of the word.
I tried like this but it is giving error as below:

Hi Deepak,
when you create validation rules they always have to return TRUE or FALSE conditions. (A record can pass or fail your expression.
So your expression above returns a VARCHAR string, as you can read in the User guide, you are replacing leading nothing '' at the beginning of your string $SPACES_TRIM.
You need to understand basic concept for validation rule expressions and use of functions.
There are lots of great product tutorials here on the SCN, that describe scope, features and functionalities of Information Steward, so you got a understanding of what you can do with IS.

Error while creating transfer rules.

I am creating transfer rules and a error message says " IS_00_BB does not exist". (IS_00) is the desc. of the info source)
can someone help me on this????

Hello,
The problem you are reporting could be that you are using the Transfer
Method 'IDOC' for the affected transfer rule(s). You should use the
'PSA' transfer method (rather than the 'IDOC' method), as the IDOC
method is very old.
If so, please change the transfer method in the affected transfer rules
to 'PSA', then try to activate the transfer structure again. This should
solve the problem, in which case, please let us know by clicking on the
'Close' button.
If the problem persists please create the report that is relevant for your system release
as per the SAP note 493422 and execute the report in your system, the report can be
created in se38, please talk to your basis team if you have problems creating the report.

Getting Error While Creating the Rule Repository File in SOA OrderBooking

I am creating a SOA OrderBooking Demo Application by following the OrderBooking Tutorial. In Chapter 8.10 Set up Oracle Business Rules when i open the "http://host:port/ruleauthor" link here In the Repository tab:
■ Repository Type: select File.
■ File Location: enter
SOADEMO\SOAOrderBooking\bpel\rules\oracle\sample_
repository. (SOADEMO refers to the directory where you are building the
SOA Order Booking application.) Rule Author will create the sample_repository file.
but in my C:\Downloads\jdevhome\jdev\mywork\SOADEMO\SOAOrderBooking\bpel
I dont have rules\oracle\sample_repository file in it. I created rules and oracle folder there but when i gave the sample_repository path on the ruleauthor page i got the error of "invalid directory path".
I also tried to give the sample_repository path from (here i unzipped the demo application) my
" C:\Documents and Settings\usareen\Desktop\BPEL Tutorials\soademo_101310_prod\SOADEMO\SOAOrderBooking\bpel\rules\oracle\sample_repository"
But it still shows the directory path error.
Please help me out.

Hi,
One small correction and addition. Check for group 'SPACE'. Check for appropriate entry in services and also hosts file from C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. If possible, restart both the servers and check.

"Field name DAY_ACTU_PROGRESS is too long (length > 16 characters)":
Diagnosis
Field names in the transfer structure can be a max of 16 characters long. Field name DAY_ACTU_PROGRESS in transfer structure ZPS_CDPR_HA has a length of 17.
I have checked all the area i didnt find mismatching of the length.

As the message says the field length is 17 characters.
Do you have any field with name DAY_ACTU_PROGRESS In datasource / Infosource?
All you have to do is rename the field by reducing 1 character and activate the transfer Rule.
