  • How to get contacts from personal backup assistant to business cell...

I just received a business cell and I can access the backup assistant for that phone and sync it.  I can do the same for my personal phone.  How do I get my personal backup assistant contacts to my business phone?
    Thank you very much.

I would export the contacts from Back-up Assistant as a CSV file and then import them to the other account.  I don't think there's any way to link them or otherwise get them to communicate directly.

  • How do i get contacts from iphone to merge with outlook contacts

how do i get contacts from iphone to merge with outlook contacts

If Outlook already has a munch of contacts, do I need to delete them all (all but 1 unique) to sync correctly?
I have and iPhone ith up to date contacts, and I have outlook with some of the same contacts with older info. When I sync, outlook is OK, but I get a lot of copies of the same contact on my iPhone. Now I'm not entirely sure which are the up-to-date contacts and which aren't (and there's hundred of contacts to go through).
...For future reference, is there a way to to send the iPhone contacts to Outlook without adding crap to my phone? Amidst the sync process I noticed and option for conflicting files and choose the "always use phone" but still wound up with a contact mess of mixed old and new on the phone.

how to get Contacts from my google account?

If you mean you want to get them in iCloud, export the contacts from Google as a vCard (see https://support.google.com/mail/answer/24911?hl=en), then import this to iCloud (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3605).

How do I get contacts from my address book in entourage to upload to icloud and so onto my ipad??  can they get to the ipad some other way??

Thanks for the reply Julian, but I tried that and the only cards that show up in that "contacts" folder are the ones that come with the iPod: ipodcreatedsample.vcf and 2 others.
I brought this to the genius bar at my local Apple store, and they couldn't figure out how to do it, so this one is definitely a challenge. The genius bar advice was: "try to find a solution online." Aaack.

  • How do I get contacts from iphone5 onto new pc?

How do I get contacts from iphone5 onto new pc?  They do show up on my Ipad but not in icloud on my pc.  Thank you.

If you are trying to do this with iCloud, make sure your Mac is running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher, then go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign in with your Apple ID to create your account, turn Contacts to On, then on your Mac go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign into your account and check Contacts.
If you only want to import a copy of your contacts from your Mac to your phone without using iCloud, do the following:
Open Contacts (Address Book) on your Mac, go to View>Groups.
Click on the All Contacts group, select any contact to the right, thengo to Edit>Select All (Command-A) to select them all.
Export to a vCard by going to File>Export>vCard, save this on your desktop.
Send an email to yourself with this file as an attachment.
Open the email on your iPhone and tap the attachment to import the contacts to your phone.

  • Getting contact from PC Suite

    Hi, can anyone help me?
My mobile N6020 is broken down completly, it is impossible to fix it. Is it possible to display my contacts from PC Suite, when the mobile doesn´t work? PC Suite still requires connecting to the mobile, doesn´t want to work without the mobile but I´m sure the contacts are somewhere inside. It´t only my chance to save my address book builded for years.

If the phone is completely broken and does not start properly, then there is no way for PC Suite to connect, either.
It is often only after the first time that someone looses important data, when the person starts to making safe copies (backups) of the data. For example, if you had a PC Suite backup made, you could restore it to another phone now. Or even if you had synchronized the contacts with Outlook.
On the other hand, if on the 6020 you have your contacts stored on the SIM card, then you can take the SIM card and put it in another phone to get them "back".

  • Fetch Contacts From Person Responsible

    Hi experts!!
    Just a quick question:
How can i fetch the contacts from one person responsible??
What are the tables that hold these data???
    Thank you in advance!!

    Hi,
You can get the required details from the FM:CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACTS_SEARCH
Just pass the PARTNER_FUNCTION of the person responsible and  PARTNER_NUMBER in the Import parameters and if required the TRANSACTION_TYPE also.
You will get the list of contracts for that particular person responsible.

  • HT4910 I still don't know how to get contacts from iCloud to my macbook !

For some reason when I sync my iphone to my macbook it is NOT syncing my contacts properly.  My contacts are on iCloud, but how do I get them from iCLoud to my Macbook so that iCloud, iPhone and macbook all have the same contacts.
Also for some reason there is one group on iCloud with my husband's contacts on it, how do it get that out of my iCloud and into his iCloud?

Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
This user tip might help you understand how accounts work with Address Book. Contacts on the phone is similar.
Do you and your husband share an iCloud account or are you logged into his iCloud account as a secondary account at mail, contacts & calendars.

  • How to get contacts from phone to macbook air

How do I get all my contacts from my iPhone 5s to my new macbook air?  I have a different account than my apple ID hooked up to my phone so I don't know what to do.

Unfortunately, content such as contacts cannot be transferred from one Apple ID account to another nor can Apple ID accounts be merged.

  • How to get contacts from ipad to iphone?  (I don't want any contacts to come from my PC via icloud.)

How to get my contacts from ipad to iphone?  (I don't want any contacts to come from my PC via icloud, only from the ipad.)

Well, if both your iPad and iPhone have ios 7 you could AirDrop the contacts. This may seem time consuming if have a lot of contacts as you have to select all the ones you want to transfer. But it is useful if you want transfer only specific contacts and not the whole contact list. Oh, and another thing: your iPad has to be a 4th generation or higher and your iPhone has to be 5th generation or higher.

  • How do I get contacts from one iphone to another?

I broke the screen on my iphone and I had to get a new phone. I need to get the contacts from my old phone to my new one. Is there a way of doing this without typing all of the numbers in?

    Several ways:
You can plug your old phone into your computer, back up it's data, and restore your new phone from that backup, and it will basically behave and have everything your phone has. The only bug is that you have to manually put your videos apps and music on the phone. Don't worry, when you redownload your apps, they will still have all their data from the backup.
You simply email them over wifi by opening each individual contact and pressing "share". You just eamail them to yourself and open the email and download them on your new phone.
If you are running iOS 5 on both iPhones, you can try iMessaging them to your new phone using the same share button and pressing "message".
One of the simplest ways for iOS 5 users. Use the iCloud. Just turn iCloud on for contacts on both iPhones and make sure it is off on all other iOS devices. You just open your Contacts app and they should all appear there. If you would like to then turn off iCloud on your iPhones you may, just be sure to press the keep contacts button when turning it off so you don't lose them.

  • How do I get contacts from iCloud back on my mac?

How I got to this place is too long a story, but I ended up with a system iCloud dialogue box on my macbook pro, and the gist of the questions were Do you want to make it so if I quit iCloud my contacts (Notes, Reminders, etc) will no longer remain on your mac? I didn't want to do this, but it seemed it wasn't letting me proceed without hitting the highlighted agree button, so I did.
I definitely want my contacts back on my Mac. How can I go about getting them from iCloud back onto my mac? I don't intend to quit iCloud, but I have years worth of contacts that I don't want to ever lose.
Notes would be the next most important one to get back onto my mac. Reminders after that. Thanks much in advance for your help.
    Michael

    Hi Michael Gorsline1,
I understand that you turned off iCloud on your Mac and subsequently lost all of your contacts, notes, and reminders. If your information, remains on iCloud.com, you can merge that information back onto your Mac by signing back into iCloud and selecting the services you would like to sync.
Apple - iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices.
    Best regards,
    Joe
