Getting CONTROL_FLUSH_ERROR error with GUI_UPLOAD

Hi Friends
In my Report I am using the FM: GUI_UPLOAD and while running the report in foreground, I am getting the proper results. But while running the same in Background I am getting the error: CONTROL_FLUSH_ERROR .
As my understanding ,to resolve this we have to upgrade the sap gui.
Can anyone suggest me the exact reason for this error and the solution as well.
Points are assured for useful answers.

Hi,
As far as i know, there is no note for this. this is the functionality of GUI_UPLOAD>
GUI_* and WS_* function modules are not designed to work in that way, as they need to access your personal computer file.
To choose the correct download method to used, you can check the value of SY-BATCH in your code, check if background or foreground mode and then execute.

Can you give more details? What exactly is the entire error message text? there should be an error number too. Are you trying to finalize this to an external disk?

I get this error with iCal "generates a conflict" when synced with my Yahoo calendar. Help Please

I updated to Maverick "Mistake" and have been getting this error since "generates a conflict" with the new iCal and my Yahoo calanders. There werent any problems before the update. Any suggestions as to how to fix it ? Does anyone know how to go back to the last version of iCal ?

Given that the calendars are hosted by Yahoo, I would remove the accounts, then re-add them back.
That shouldn't lose anything, but I don't use Yahoo so I can't say for sure. They use a standard CalDAV server, so all should be ok.

I'm getting this error with bootcamp "The startup disk does not have enough space to be partitioned"

Here's the story...
I had a dual boot configuration on my mac with Mac OS X Lion and Windows XP (made with bootcamp).
I decided to reinstall windows.
I deleted the windows partition using BootCamp.
Tried to recreate the Windows partition with Boot Camp and got: "The startup disk does not have enough space to be partitioned You must have at least 10 GB of free space available"
After reading several posts on this forum I decided to defrag the hard drive and try again.
The defrag did not work and I'm still getting the error, I have 22 gb of free space on my drive.
Any suggestions?
Also, I tried repair disk and repair permissions
Hmm, my external harddrive says on the box "OS X 10.5.8 or higher (32-bit kernel only)" Could the 32-bit requirement be an issue? Is lion 64-bit?

Boot Camp must be able to allocate a contiguous block of space on the drive. If it cannot find 10 GBs of contiguous space, then you cannot create the Windows partition.
You will have to backup your OS X partition to an external drive, boot from the external drive, use Disk Utility to repartition and reformat your hard drive back to a single volume, then restore your backup to the internal hard drive.
Get an empty external hard drive and clone your internal drive to the external one.
Boot from the external hard drive.
Erase the internal hard drive.
Restore the external clone to the internal hard drive.
Clone the internal drive to the external drive
Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
Select the destination volume from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears. Select the icon for the external drive and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
After startup do the following:
Erase internal hard drive
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your internal hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Do not quit Disk Utility.
Restore the clone to the internal hard drive
Select the destination volume from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the internal hard drive. Source means the external startup drive.
Note that the Source and Destination drives are swapped for this last procedure.

I am getting and error with a panel in CS6 with configurator

I get the zxp file to load into CS6 but I keep getting this error when I try to use anything IOError, "File or folder does not exist"
I have built tons of panels in the other versions of configurator, but I am inporting one I did in version two and converting it. This is driving me nuts.
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong with this.

1. The gpc file in you zip archive is not valid. It is not a text file, but a binary file.
2. For the error "File or folder does not exist", I think it is because the jsx file cannot be found. There is a global variable "assetsPath", which points to the assets folder. You can evaluate a file by
$.evalFile(assetsPath + "/LTS_Select Folder Of Images.jsx");
If the panel is exported as "CS Extension" by "File->Export Panel As CS Extension", the jsx file does not locate at app.path.toString() + "/Plug-ins/Panels/Touch Flow/content/Touch Flow.assets/". Therefore, the jsx file cannot be found after click the Script button.
The variable "assetsPath" works when the panel is exported as panel or exported as CS extension.

Why do I get parsing errors with my WSDL URL for Web Services usage

I am puzzled with the errors I get when I want to create a Web Service datastore.
Scenario: I have created a SAP Web Service from CRM using SOAMANAGER. The WSDL URL produced by SOAMANAGER is accessibile when pasting the URL directly in Internet Explorer. WSDL URL [http://UXCIQ0M.WDF.SAP.CORP:50076/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_CBDCB34C89C29304E10000000A4282C0/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=504]
When using the WSDL URL in the Web Service datastore URL field, I get the error An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException; faultcode=PARSER_ERROR: Problem parsing: The element type "br" must be terminated by matching tag "/br". (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
When I save the WSDL defintion in a local file and use a local file path, I get the errors An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portype/wsp:Policy): faultcode=INVALID_WSDL: Encountered unexpected element 'Policy. (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
My questions:
- Why do I get different parsing errors despite the fact that the XML is the same?
- The WSDL is generated by SOAMANAGER. Shouldn't it work directly when integrating with Web Services generated from an SAP environment?
- Is this related to confiurgation issue? I have set the Job Manager to Support adapter, message broker and SNMP communication
- What is the difference between the datastore of type Adapter and the datastore Web Service? In the white paper [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20bd5e60-11f9-2b10-2bbb-b5109cceff08?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true] it is mentioned to use the Adapter type to consume a Web Service. It is not clear to me why we have those 2 types.

Some updates on this issue, which might help others in the community.
- Data Service doesn't support ws_policy.
- SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SOAMANAGER generate WDSL with ws_policy. In future releases, it is possible to specify not to use ws_policy
- In most cases, replacing ws_policy with standard in the URL directly, works. It doesn't work with Data Services :(.
- Replacing ALL ws_policy in the XML directly is currently the only way to have the WSDL definition being parsed properly by Data Services.

This is a common error when attempting CAST to dates. I've resolved this in the past using Gerad's post here, http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/cast_as_date
I'm not sure why you are getting thie inconsistency when you say it was "sometimes" working and now it is not. Perhaps you've been in iterative develpment and changed a few things which broke something here.
Take a look at Gerad's notes that this will resolve your issue.

I keep getting an error message with my google calendar, and I heard that if I delete the extra slash at the end of the address the problem will be fixed. But the iCal account preferences take me to system preferences > accounts every time I want to edit the account.
Does anyone know where I can edit the server address?

Getting an error with Netflix app-

I can pick a movie/show and hit play- it just "loads" and then comes up with an error. I have tried everything: reset network settings, deleted app and reinstalled it, shut it off, signed out/in. not on Ipad just Iphone.
Anyone else??? I called Netflix and they said that it was my phone provider- called ATT and they even reset my phone on the network- not my service..... I reset network settings about a week ago and it worked for 2 days... getting the error again....

Sorry, there are million of apps in the App Store.
Apple do not fix 3rd parties apps. It's the responsibility of the developer.
Maybe some other Netflix user can help.

I'm getting this error "sec_error_ocsp_bad_http_response" on several sites with FF 6.0.2 and earlier versions, but not getting the error with IE.

I've been getting this error on several websites, this is the latest one it just came up on. I got it while trying to sign onto this page.
I am able to connect using IE 9, Windows 7 Enterprise.

Under Advanced>Encryption:Certificate>Validation both boxes were checked, to Use OCSP server to validate the certificate and if the connection fails, then to consider the certificate as Invalid.
I unchecked the second box (consider the cert as invalid) and now I am able to connect to the websites. This is a business computer and I don't surf with it very much (when I do it is to answer IT questions using Google searches) so I'm not too concerned about turning off the validation.

Unfortunately Microsoft is not particularly helpful, forgiving, or backward compatible when it comes to Visual Studio releases. Oracle has not yet released a version of Tuxedo that is compatible with VS2013. If VS2013 is something you absolutely need, then I suggest submitting a support request through My Oracle Support asking for a Tuxedo 12.1.1 kit that supports VS2013. You might also submit a request to Microsoft and ask them to stop breaking compatibility between releases! :-)
Regarding the specific error above, it looks as though you should probably try a reinterpret_cast, although it has been a long time since I played with CORBA.
