Getting Error 150:30 in Photoshop CS4

Had a HD crash and reinstalled CS4 on the new HD and get error 150:30.
Does anyone know how to correct and activate PS, thank you?

Are you running LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app? That's for 10.6.8
If you type in the password, the cursor will not move or show dots. So you ignore that, simply type the password and press enter.

I am getting Error 150:30 when I launch CS4 on a new Mac Mini running OSX 10.9.3.
The application was restored from a backup using Apple Time Machine.
I would reinstall the applications, since I have the original disks, but alas, the Mac Mini has no external drive.
Any ideas?

CS4 is untested and unsupported under 10.9.x
That said, you should uninstall everything run the cleaner tool and then download the CS4 installer and try it again.
If that doesn’t do it, you’re on your own.

recently sold laptop and have migrated to a new one I now get error 150:30 when I try to open the programme. am on a macbook pro with mountain lion

It will install as a trial, input your serial number to license it.

I bought a new Mac OS 10.9.4 and get "error 150:30" after migrating Acrobat and CS4. I went to link suggested by others, but I do not have a FlexNet Publisher folder to delete. Any other suggestions on how to remedy?

Migrating software does not work for Adobe software.
It must be installed from scatch.

They're not available because photoshop.com is dead and gone, and any photos there are moved to revel, which you can't access through PSE versions prior to PSE 11. You should have received a bunch of emails about this back when it was happening.

The 150:30 error is probably indicative of a licensing problem.
How long has the problem existed?

My wife had this problem for the past few days for a specific phone number. These instructions fixed it -- without having to restore from backup or contact the carrier.

Open Contacts -> select the contact -> select edit -> scroll all the way to the bottom and delete contact (delete multiple entries of the same phone number, my wife had five).
Open the Messages app -> select Edit -> select the red circle and then select delete. Do this for both the person and the messages you received.
Open the Settings app -> scroll down and select Messages -> turn off messages, by selecting the switch, and any other options turned on.
Turn off your phone and then turn it back on.
Go straight to messages and compose a new message and put in the phone number of the person you're trying to text. Send and that person should receive the text message. Add the person to your contacts and go back into message settings to turn on any other options you want on that you turned off.

I'll assume that's a Mac-Intel machine, as I'm not familiar with macbooks or laptops in general. Obviously, if it were a PPC you would not need Rosetta in the first place.
Well, here's what I would do:
I'd re-install CS4 in the hopes that will solve the problem;
Second, I'd stop listening (and probably even speaking) to the misguided soul who recommended CleanmyMac to me;
Third, delete all traces of CleanmyMac; and
Fourth, I'd reinstall the OS and all applications on my machine.
But that's just me.

I need to transfer CS4 from my old MacBook to my new one, but get error 150:30.

Have the discs, have the serial number, have the programs transferred to my external drive and even installed on the new Mac, but when I double-click to open any of the programs, I get error code 150:30 and cannot get the program open. What I'd like is to talk to someone at Adobe, or just to have my paid-for programs work on my new machine. I rely on them for my design business...help!

I should have been more clear that the very brand new computer is the drive-free MacBook Pro which doesn't allow me to just pop in the discs…I think I might have thought of that!
And actually, I just about to come back and report. Somewhere in all of my reading I saw that someone mentioned that when the CS4 folder is moved to the external drive (or other computer, however you're trying to do it), for whatever reason (bug? deliberate?) it leaves behind that one key FLEXNet Publisher folder that is an integral part of Adobe's "restore your license" process. So I did a search for that folder in my old MacBook's library, found it, copied it separately, then put it into the same folder on the new MacBook, restarted, and BAM! All of my CS4 started working without my even having to go through that Adobe process.
So, problem solved…hope this helps someone else who finds themselves in this position at this late date in the CS4 lifespan...

The 150:30 error means licensing broke.
Two ways to fix this: If you are used to the Terminal app, you download the license recovery package and following instructions carefully, you use the python script in the package. Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS
If for some reason it doesn't, reinstall CS4 from your discs, or download the CS4 installer here.

Need to download - design premium CS4 - I'm getting error: 150:30 when I try to open PS

I had CS help me a few months ago to re-set or load my CS4 Design Premium, when I changed 2008 imac to Mavericks. Now I can't remember how we did that. Now the issue is that I need to do the same on my new Macbook pro (also Mavericks)- Somehow the Suite seems to have loaded all programs, and clicking on one says to restart and then says " but if that doesn't work, then reach support." so here I am. Can someone help asap? Second question today. thanks
