Getting "Error 402" when trying to install "Select" add-on to Illustrator CC 2014. What can I do?
I also tried downloading the ZXP file, but Extension Manager says "Failed to unpack the zxp file. Please make sure the extension is valid. the extension will not be installed."
Any help is appreciated.
I got it from the author's (Smorodsky) github account, but it must have been corrupted on download. I re-downloaded (https://github.com/smorodsky/Select/archive/master.zip) and it now says the following upon double clicking to install into extension manager:
The author explained how to work around the issue:
To manually install:
rename select.zxp to select.zip
unpack select.zip
place all files to folder /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC/Presets/en_GB/Scripts/Select
restart Illustrator
This worked to get the extension working for me. However it does not show up in Extension Manager.

There is no bug. While you can update your iOS via wi-fi, it's recommended to do so via USB & iTunes. Depending on your wi-fi connection & singal strength, you can get errors. That's not a function specifically of the device. -
Getting "Error: 0x80070654" when trying to install SCCM 2012 R2 Console from Software Center
What I did:
Created a Package Source share on the Site Server
Gave the Package Source Share the following Share permissions: SCCM Admins: Full Control, Domain Computers: Full Control, Local Admins: Full Control.
Copied the "Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\tools\ConsoleSetup" folder to my package source (Since the Package Source is actually on the site server, I just copied the ConsoleSetup folder to it that is on the same drive)
Created a package and a Standard Program
Command line: ConsoleSetup.exe
I deploy it to my collection
Run Machine Policy and Reevaluation on my Right Click Tools
Go to one of my clients and open up Software Center and click the Install button
It fails with ""Error: 0x80070654"
I open up execmgr.log on the client using CMTrace and I use the error lookup tool and it shows that the 0x80070654 error is "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer
package"
I also see a red highlighted line in the execmgr.log file with the following entry: "Script for Package:PRI00013, Program: SCCM 2012 R2 Management Console failed with exit code 2147944020"
I can run ConsoleSetup.exe using a command line to the package source.

Get error message when trying to install Bluetooth Firmware Update 2.0.1
I have been having issues installing Bluetooth Firmware Update 2.0.1 on both of my Macbook Pro and my Imac. The update downloads but will not install. It comes up with an error code each time. I have not been able to install this on either Macs. HELP!
both units do list they they require the bluetooth update. I have downloaded it from Software update and from a direct link from Apple. I have experienced since trying to install the update that it will not full install and that it causes problems with bluetooth either being not available or working from time to time. I have not found a way to get it to work properly or going back to the previous version

Constantly getting error code when trying to install Photoshop CC!
I have been trying for the past hour to attempt to re-install CC. My PC had an error and had to go back to the last saved good image, and that was, unfortunately, before CC was installed. (Which was on the 10th) I have removed, reinstalled, etc. The cloud app multiple times as well as used the cloud cleaner. Along with that, I have gone into the appdata file on my PC and deleted the database file for the cloud app but still no luck once-so-ever. I have checked for remnants of the original CC file and can find nothing at all! The error code I am getting is below:

I haven't owned any other copy of photoshop but CS2 a long time ago! Got out of it but coming back because I miss the creative freedom it allowed with website, content, personal documentation, photo, and artwork design! So I'm sorely disappointed at the issue right now, I seriously want to subscribe to the PS bundle, but it's just not going to happen if I can't even get it to install! Plus all this talk about fun stuff to do and re-learn in Photoshop is getting me even more impatient! Vicious circle, I tell ya!

Getting error message when trying to install Reader 9 on Win 7 64 bit w/IE 9
I hope I can be concise and not have this all sound too convoluted but I am so confused by this time that I may not be able to hide it. I have recently bought an HP Omni 220 PC, 64 bit, with Win 7, Intel Core i7, and IE9. Reader didn't come installed and I have been battling for weeks now trying to get it set up.
I couldn't get Reader 10 to install so I installed Reader 9 thinking to update to 10. While I can open and read PDF files beautifully on my desktop, Reader 9 allowed me to open .PDF files online only about 2 times and then stopped. When I tried to open a PDF link my IE 9 would crash and recover and tell me some problem had caused IE to have to close and recover. I tried 'repairing' the installation through the "Repair" option on the drop down menu which you get when you right click on the .msi installer. When the repair is running I get an error which reads:
"Warning 1909.Could not create shortcut Adobe Reader 9.lnk. Verify that the destination folder exists and that you can access it."
I have no idea what destination folder this refers to or how to fix it.
I uninstalled Reader 9, attempted again to install Reader 10. I think I've figured out that the 10 installer (which disappears and nothing happens when I try to run it) is actually a program different from the actual installation program but I fear I'd just run into this same destination folder boo-boo with the 10 installation as I have the 9 installation. At least the 9 will run without disappearing.
In short, finally, how can I fix this Warning 1909 to get Reader 9 installed so that I can actually read PDF files in IE9 and hope to update to 10?

SouthCountryMomOk, I have now gotten Reader 10 installed, can open files from my desktop but IE 9 keeps crashing when I try to open PDF files even though I exited and relaunched IE 9. I did take ownership of all the folders containing Reader 10 and then clicked OK when I got the error notice about the shortcut being installed. Could be many things, we should start with this...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.) -
I am trying to update my iTunes to 10.5.1 so that I can upgrade my 3GS phone but am getting the following error message when trying to install the itunes: Install step failed: Run pre upgrade script for apple mobile device support. Contact software manufacturer for assistance. I am on a MacBook pro running 10.5.8 OS. Has anyone seen this before and how can I get it resolved.
