Thanks
Sameer

Hi Sameer,
I have used the follwoing parameters for the DIRECT SERVICE application in Career and Job.
I have maintained the resource settings for the resource key EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_DIRECT_APPL_SERVICE05 as follows :
Object name : hrrcf_start_int/application.do
URL parameter : BspClient=000&rcfLogAppl=APPLY_DIRECTLY
URL of PCD page : ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job/
com.sap.pct.erp.ess.direct_service
In the portal iview for FIRECT SERVICE,
Application parameters : rcfLogAppl=APPLY_DIRECTLY
Business Server Page (BSP) Application = hrrcf_start_int/application.do
System : <plese givea system name here which has the conector properties >
Also, execute the iview from the ESS link in portal and not directly from portal content.
Let me know on the same

  • E recruitment -career and job Error u201CAn internal error occurred. Please try

    Hi All
The issue is E recruitment regarding career and job (internal candidate) in this page select candidate profile I am getting Error u201CAn internal error occurred. Please try again lateru201D  (my client using BSP and Portal)
I was checked T- code  SLG1 but it show Errors 1) Periodic service was not executed due to concurrent service2) The error occurred in program RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES line 41
And also I checked T u2013 code SICF for services hrrcf_start_int tested but here also getting error u201CAn internal error occurred. Please try again lateru201D
Please any one guide me for how to resolve the issue
    Regards
    Eshwar

    Hello Eshwraj,
Please check out the following :
Please check transaction SM37 and check have you create a periodical job for program COM_SE_DISPATCHER. If this is the case this is not correct - only RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES has to run as periodical job which indexes the objects then.
Please delete your COM_SE_DISPATCHER job and activate the RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES job again and test the service run afterwards.
The services DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_PUB_INT and DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_PU_EXT of program RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES do the pre-work which means that they create the change pointers for the
postings which are then processed by program COM_SE_DISPATCHER. These services are only called by program RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES. COM_SE_DISPATCHER can't do that alone. Report COM_SE_DISPATCHER is
    called automatically.
    Best Regards,
    Deepak..

You can turn off this alert inside 'Support Desk' -> 'SAP Application'
Afetr clicking OK it is giving message
<b>Logon Error</b>Logon requires activated <b>Single Sign-On on</b> this server. This is not the case. Contact your system administrator
Same server I am using as ITS server and there SSO is working. I have exported certificate from portal (WAS 6.4 java) and imported in WAS ABAP (ECC 5.0)
    Thanks in advance
    Raktim

The alias SAP_WebDynpro_XSS is the alias on the portal for a myERP2004 system.
If you search for the Installationguide for MySAP ERP 2004 Java components,
you will see that this includes a XSS component 5.0 and contains amongst others ESS and MSS.
This needs to be configured as well.
The other alias above mentioned need to be created on the myERP2004 system using this URL (Webdynpro Admin):

  • ESS - Career and Job - Career Profile: Page not found

    Hello,
we are facing a problem. When I try to open the Service "Career profile" in subarea "Career" of area "Career and Job" we are getting the error "Page not found or not available". The default-log of the java server lists the following error:
#1#javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Object not found: com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.career_service at portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job.  Root exception is javax.naming.NamingException: Object not found: com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.career_service at portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job
I tried to find out, what item in the IMG has to be changed to solve the problem but I cannot identify a service or a resource where the path com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.career_service at portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_career_job is listed.
    Can anyone give helpful hints?
    Thanks in advance,
    André

    Hi,
The Resource you need to change is  EMPLOYEE_CAREER_PAG and the URL location should be as below:
    ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.ess.employee/com.sap.pct.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.ess.area_career_job/com.sap.pct.ess.area_career_job
    This should solve the issue.
    Cheers-
    Pramod

  • Problems with ESS in Career and Jobs in Appraisal Document

    HI
Iam Facing a problem in ESS career and job .
    in Appraisal documnets
    iam using BP ERP5 ESS1.41 sp6
    and updated Common parts
My problem here is when i click the appraisal link  the page for appraisal is opening with some records.but when i click on that record the appraisal template must be displayed, but my link is displaying an error in that page as page is not found.
i had done required OBN as of SAP NOTE 1416756  , 1408243.but my issue doesnt soleved
iam just postinga  screen shot of that error
    http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/8157/uiapraisal2.jpg
can u people help me in solving this issue.wat might be the problem and how to get trhe solution
pls help me as iam in very emergency with this issue
    Bye
    Waiting 4 response

sandeep, im still looking for you to provide the
URL of both pages in your screenshot.
Outside of a weird firewall issue or something, you have 1 of 2 issues.
    1.  Your OBN Target configuration you did in the notes is wrong.  which means the target URL is not pointing to the iview properly.
    2.  Your iview for the sap page called appraisal_document is not in accessible in the correct content area.
here is the location in the standard SAP portal area, not sure if you copied and already using a custom ESS tab....
    pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.14.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.14.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.14.career_job/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.appraisal_document_pmp
also, on the previous post, it was wrong the wrong webdynpro's that were told you.  The POWL webdynpro's you already have access to, its when from that application you try to launch the document.  You want to launch this webdynrpo, which is configured in the appraisal_document iview:
    HAP_AC_PMP_MAIN - for predefined
    HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT- for flexible.

  • Career and Job workset in ESS

    Hi Guys,
I have a problem in ESS role, I am having SP12 portal with ESS SP8,ADS SP10 and WebDynpro 6.4. In Ess role there is a workset called "career and job" when I try to open "Candidate Profile" under this workset I get an error regarding

    DefinitionType: Java

    DynamicParameter : sap-cssversion%3D6.0.12.0.0%26rcfLogAppl%3DPROFILE_BUILDER%26sap-wd-cltwndid%3DWID1129022201017%26sap-ext-sid%3DtR%2BgBA7MR1%2F%2FcEUuvhfClw%3D%3Dmrlts5WFF7AVeT%2FwEkiv2w%3D%3D
    DebugMode : No
Can any one tell me how can I solve this error? Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Yasir Noman

The alias SAP_WebDynpro_XSS is the alias on the portal for a myERP2004 system.
If you search for the Installationguide for MySAP ERP 2004 Java components,
you will see that this includes a XSS component 5.0 and contains amongst others ESS and MSS.
This needs to be configured as well.
The other alias above mentioned need to be created on the myERP2004 system using this URL (Webdynpro Admin):

  • Problem in Career and Job

    Hi All,
We are facing crictical issues in career and Job after we moved all our objects to quality machine.
We are using mySAP ERP 2005 Buss pack 1.0 with ECC 6.0, Portal 7.0 SP12 and E-rec 600.
The career and Job especially -  Apply Directly and candidate applications throws most of the time "Internal error occured". This error occurs with all the user ids in quality machine.  This used to work properly in development.
When we check tcode -  slg1 - it says the employee is not an candidate.
We identified that - before using this services an employee needs to be registered as an candidate via the report - RCF_CREATE_USER or SYN_HR_PERSON. Is that true ?
If this is the case, then we need to run this report for all our thousands of employees.
Also, after running this report for one user id and when we logged into Portal.
The user is able to apply diretly and see the candidate applications. Unless untill it keep on giving messages  "Internal errror occured"
Please share your experiences. Need your valuable inputs. points assured.
    Regards,
    Nazeer

    HI prathmesh,
After installing SAP e-Recruiting 3.00 with Support Package 1, or higher, for career and job workset related applications to work, have you made the following settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG):
1.Choose the following IMG path: Cross-Application Components ? Homepage Framework ? Resources ? Define Server for Resources. Enter the server name and the port of your e-Recruiting system.
2.Assign the server to all e-recruiting resources and add the URL parameters stored.  To do so, choose the following IMG path: Cross-Application Components ? Homepage Framework ? Resources ? Define Resources.
Enter the e-recruiting server for the following resources. Add the relevant URL parameters by replacing in the BSP client the 000 client with the client of your e-recruiting system.
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_APPLICATIONS_SERVICE
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_DATA_OVERVIEW
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_DIRECT_APPL_SERVICE
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_FAVORITES_SERVICE
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_PERSONAL_SETTINGS
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_PROFILE_RELEASE
    EMPLOYEE_CANDIDATE_PROFILE_SERVICE
