Getting error "disk image....pro.sparsebundle is in use.....try ejecting the disk
when trying to have my time machine backup my MAC harddrive I am getting an error message "disk image....pro.sparsebundle is in use. try ejecting the disk....I don't know where to find this disk image to eject it.
Try the following:
Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cord back in to the back of the Time Capsule
Wait a few minutes, then try another backup

I upgraded my Mountain Lion two weeks ago and I've experienced number of issues since then.
Now I have problem with the Time Machine.
When I try to create backup I'm keep getting following message:

The problem is that Time Machine seem to be ejected, I checked this both in Finder and Disk Utility.

I've Googled and tried different suggestions from forums, but nothing works. Most of the suggestions are too old anyway. It's doing my head in!

Replaced HD yesterday Was able to restore from Time Machine Now, it won't back up to Time Machine. I removed the TM and tried to add it- the error is "The disk image for "computername.sparsebundle" is in use. Try ejecting the disk image - How do I do?

I am trying to reinstall the Creative Suite CS5.5 as I have lost my disk.
As soon as I try to open the installer I get the following message:
Creative Suite CS5.5 re-install error: Install can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.
I have deleted and redownloaded, downloaded from both safari and chrome and also downloaded it on different network connections.
I have also checked my privacy settings to 'Allow applications downloaded from: Anywhere'
Anyone have an answer to this problem?

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -

After upgrading to iTunes 10.3.1 I get error -50 on startup and 1008 when I try to sign in to the Store. How do I fix this?
I got the solution from another post...
use the Finder to navigate to /library/preferences/SystemConfiguration and delete NetworkInterfaces.plist ( you will be prompted for username and password), then reboot. You will get a message about new network interface found--just reset the network info.
That did it for me. -
