Getting error in Desktop Intelligence Login

Hi,
I am sandeep, I have one question related desktop intelligence BO XIR2.
Actual i am getting error while I am login. Getting Repository error and in details showing as devinsap not found in the network.
So, any guide me what is the exact issue. Because as I have checked all the setting like, host entry, tnsnames entry, uninstall and reinstallation of BO software and even also reinstalled Oracle 9i software.
So, please help me for the same..

1. What exact version of the product we're dealing with ?
==> BO XI/R2 with Oracle 9i client version
2. What OS on client machine and on the server ?
==>Windows XP sp2
3. Which exact ports are open on the firewall ? (6400 is one port and 15xx port is not related)
==> 6400/8080/8085 for server port and 1521 for database port opend.
4. Which Ports and request ports are assigned to which servers in the BOE ?
==>8085 for devinsap and 8080/6400 for p272xdssbo server
5. What results ping command returns ?
==> Reply getting with 63 msec
6. What results tracert produces ?
==> 30 hope reached
7. What's exactly in your hosts file ?
==> in host entry all the server IP with server name
It is sufficient for find out the solution.
And if you want any details ask me i ll give you but find the solution.
I am hopeless for the same because i did all the setting in windows as well as in registry and in net configure manager but not getting solution.

I'm getting the above error when I try to login as administrator (blank password).
This did work until I rebooted the linux server.
I checked there are no port conflicts (nothing is using port 6400).
I restarted the services manually, I even rebooted server and then restarted ccm services manually but no luck. I did find this is a known problem with linux crystal reports server but nothing stated about how to resolve it.
Finding solutions in the SAP portal is difficult! This is about as user friendly as the Cisco support website. Cisco portal is AWEFUL.
I'm in process of getting a support contract from SAP but it's taking a long time.
I have to state the support from SAP is a big step DOWN from the business objects support. We were able to call and speak to engineers in a few minutes.
With SAP support I was able to talk to some foreigner (asian or indian) to tell me that there is no phone support with SAP. This after being redirected at least 4 times between departments.
Wow! So what do the other business objects customers have to say about the SAP support?
I can't help but wonder about moving on to another solution for publishing reports.
A vendor who actually gives a damn about the customers.

this worked until I rebooted the server.
I'm getting error showing it's trying to connect to a mysql database 'BOE115'.
This server does have a mysql db running on it, but that db has no instance of BOE115.
It also shows it's trying to connect as a user that isn't on the database.
Where can I see the script with user/password that is trying to run and connect to the mysql db?
Also, why didn't the install create the instance and user?
Why did this work until I rebooted?
There is no firewall on this server, that has been disabled.

I gone through some cisco document saying that Join across line/Direct transfer across policy option status should be set to OFF. But i dont find option in 9971 series phone.

That's because the JAL function is inherent to the 8961/9951/9971 phone and cannot be disabled. You'll need to upgrade to a release that supports this phone model or use a different phone.

I deleted my certificates by mistake. Now I get error messages trying to login to gMail, eBay and my bank accounts, etc.

I was recently doing some 'house-cleaning' on my computer, and for reasons known only to the ninny-gods, I delected all my security certificates. Now, when I try to login to gmail, ebay, my bank accounts, or any https:// site, I get a warning message "This Connection is Untrusted." I click the links provided to overcome the security message, but every time I go back to the site I have to jump through all the hoops again. I see a small box that can be clicked to confirm the security exception, but the little box that needs to be clicked to 'make the exception permanent' is always greyed-out. I know I am on the right sites - have been using the links on the bookmarks toolbar for years without problems. This just started after I deleted the certificates.
I have tried everything. Reloaded Firefox (am using 3.6.4) deleted and reloaded the bookmarks, follow the instructions when I get the error message. Nothing works. As soon as I close my browser, then go back online, I'm back to the error messages.
Can anyone help?

FINALLY, Someone with the same problem as me - which tells me I must have deleted my certificates too by mistake and not realized it. However, I am not at all as savvy as you guys and have absolutely NO IDEA what you are talking about & I don't want to lose ALL my BOOKMARKS as they are ALL related to the FDA & ICH Guidelines and took approx. 1 year to build. Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE Walk me through this fix very, very slowly in a language I will understand, i.e., novice, as I am going insane especially since I can't file my taxes this year because the pages wont load images either or allow me to access any links as seen in the attached. Currently using Mac OS X 10.4.11 Firefox 3.6.11.

Getting Error which says" Please login with Adobe Id to use Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder"

We have licensed version of Extension Builder 2 and also have open internet on the machine on which we are trying the export the project. Even after providing the correct username and password , we get the error that "Please provide Adobe Id to use Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder."
We have tried making all the necessary changes of internet still the error persist. Please help.

SAPGUI 7.20 Comp 1 getting error -2147024894 -desktop icon not working

Hello all,
First time here, so take it easy on a newbie.
Trying to create customised package for deployment in our network using the standard SAP network installer method (as outlined in the SAP Frontend installation guide -Release 7.20 Compliation 1).
After creating the package with additional script commands, I created a compressed single file installer (as per instructions) and proceeded to manually install on our lab pc's for testing.
I've found consistently that after running the installer successfully, that I noticed that the desktop and Program files shortcuts to open the Frontend, have no active icon (that is the file they reference is not being registered by the shortcut). It seems that the target: "C:\Program Files\SAP\SapSetup\Setup\SAL\SapLogon.s8l" has lost its file associations. If I create a shortcut directly to the saplogon.exe that it works fine.
I also noticed that the error logs contain numerous errors (-2147024894) referring to "Error: File not found" - there are numerous dll's etc referenced. In some cases 311 errors appear in this log.
I'm just a humble packaging engineer so any Guru's out there that can point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Database error thrown when trying to run report in Web/Desktop Intelligence

Hi all,
I have set up a demo system running BO Edge 3.1, and have built a Universe that connects to one of our business db's. In Universe Designer, I can go into the connection that I have built, and successfully test the connection (OLE DB against SQL Server 2005, using a local SQL Server login.) I can likewise go into Query Panel in Designer and execute a query. However, when I upload the Universe to the CMS, when I try to use it in either Web or Desktop Intelligence, it throws the following error when I try to execute a query:
COM Provider CLSID not specified or erroneous.
(The Web Intelligence error popup also references "WIS 10901" at the end of that error, if that's helpful.)
Why might this be happening? I am a complete newb at all thing BOE, so it may just be that I don't understand how to do this correctly... But I can't figure out why this isn't working.

BOXI R2's Desktop Intelligence giving error

Hi All,
         Just got the BOXI R2 installed but there's a strange and unique problem while logging as Admin.
         With Administrator if I log into Designer, it works but for Desktop Intelligence,its giving licences problem.Below is an extract of the error,
         "[repo_proxy 48] SessionFacade::checkLicenses - the current user hasn't got the rights to use this application"
         Need less to say thanx in advance.

Hm, this looks like a more intersting problem... So first start excluding other than BO errors: The DeskI is some software running locally on the PC. You're sure, that Windows has the proper set of privileges set to run the DeskI, aren't you?So, consider yes. Then the DeskI starts and tries to attach the CMS. Is there some firewall between your PC and the CMS to be tunneled? If yes: Is this firewall configured appropriatly?If yes: You should be able to login to the CMS. If not, there should be an error message. Which error message do you find?Regards, Robert

I keep getting error -50 on itunes when i try to login through my apple id. I am able to access itunes store but it does not allows me to sign into my id

When i try to login with my apple id i keep on getting error saying "We could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occured(-50)." I get this error everytime i try logging into my account. But still i can access to the iTunes store. I had recently downloaded this iTunes software into my new windows 8.1 laptop so i think it is up to date. I have earlier used this apple ID into another iTunes conneted to my older PC(I haven't logged out from it yet.Could that be the problem?).

Why can't I launch my Creative Cloud Desktop App? (I get Error -1712)

I have the Creative Cloud Desktop app downloaded and installed on my iMac (Early 2009/Mavericks OS). When I try to open it I get error -1712. Up until today I have been able to launch it. I cleared out my caches completely today so am wondering if that has something to do with it (cookies?). I can launch other Creative Cloud Apps such as InDesign Photoshop and Illustrator. I am having font sync issues with TypeKit and InDesign as well--typekit says my fonts are synced, InDesign says they are not. Help!

You might try restarting your computer and then attempt downloading Creative Cloud again. In case you still face this issue please share the screenshot.

There seems not to be any '.html' in your url-pattern

End All Adobe background processes from task manager and then try to update , processes like Acrotray
