please let me know how can i create the folders in macbook to segregate the photos
need to know also i have the apple pan drive but can not transfer data from iPhone to pan drive and also form mac book to pan drive
it is very complicated for me to use this please help
the same way when i insert my external hard drive to the mac book i can not play th songs or videos and also can not open the files which is really important to my office work
please do the needful
and if i have to download any App for above issues please let me know

Facetime gets "FaceTime failed" error on Macbook Air

I have a Macbook Air with os x 10.9.2. I recently updated the security. Now my Facetime rings but I get a "FaceTime failed" error after trying to call. The receiving FaceTime does not even get a ring, and I don't get a ring when they call me.

everytime i try to install windows 8 on my macbook air mid 2012 via usb i keep getting that error after bootcamp partition and reboot...
does anyone know how to solve it ? its not my flash drive cuz i've already tested 2, and both have the exact same error.

and if i try to hold the alt/option button while its starting i can get to the windows 8 install screen, but when i select the partition bootcamp to install it doesnt let me move on.. and yes i've clicked on format in the windows installer screen, and yet nothing works..

ILife Install Error on Macbook Air

I have an 11" Macbook Air, OS X 10.6.8. I recently completed an erase and install using my reinstall drive. First problem, iPhoto is missing. And, I am trying to install iLife, using the reinstall drive, and I am getting an error that the installation failed. Has anyone else experienced these problems with an erase and install?

Siri only runs on an iPhone, not a Mac. You will need an iPhone 4S or later for Siri.

If your Mac is running slow, check to see how much free space there is on the startup disk.
Click the Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About this Mac > More Info > System Report then select Storage on the left under Hardware.
You'll see Available and Capacity. Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.

I'm living in a boarding school and I wanna buy a new macbook for my classes because my current one is 6 years old and started to working really slow with some other issues. I wanna know if it's possible to get installments by using a credit card. Only thing is my credit card is belong to Turkey but I buy stuff from internet all the time. Your MacBook is probably running slow because you have a full hard drive.
Buy a WD Passport USB Hard Drive and back off as much as you can from your Mac so that at least 20% of the HDD is free.
Also run optimisation utilities over the Mac to clean it up.
Additional RAM is the best investment.
As to whether you can pay your Mac off in installments, using a credit card to pay debt, a better question would be why are you not saving for a new Mac, negotiating a best price and then paying for it? Common sense will tell you that you will save a lot of money and own your new Mac much faster.

What case/sleeve should I get for my macbook air 11"?

I just got a macbook air 11" for Christmas, and don't know what kind of case to get. I carry it around in my backpack everyday for school, so I need a solid case. A lot of my friends have the hard case and a neoprene case/sleeve. I used a neoprene case/sleeve for my macbook (white) but I've noticed that this unibody design makes the computer a lot more prone to denting easily. Any ideas on what cases to get?

Your Macbook charger will specify the number of watts it uses (very fine print somewhere on the charger brick). Your inverter MUST be able provide at least that much power, or I'm guessing your Macbook charger would have problems.

How to get errors and/or air.trace() from installed air app?

I'm trying to debug an installed air app that behaves
differently once installed than when run with adl. However, i can't
figure out any way to get errors or air.trace() information. I am
on OS X (10.5.6). Any tips?
I imagine this should be easy since debugging an installed
app is pretty much a necessity for development.

You can enable logging to a text file using settings in the
mm.cfg file. See

Note that ALL trace output will go to the log.
Other things you can do are:
1. Run the installed app with adl -- just pass the installed
app descriptor to adl on the command line
2. Supply a publisher id to adl. This removes one difference
between installed/ not installed apps and may be enough if the
behavior issue has to do with local connections or other matters
involving the publisher id.
3. Use the adl -nodebug flag. This removes another difference
between installed/uninstalled apps. You won't see uncaught
exceptions, but trace statements are still reported.

In the Control Panel window, under Programs , click Uninstall a program .
In the Uninstall or change a program window, click to select AccuWeather.com Cirrus , and then click the Uninstall button. NOTE: If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password, click Continue or click Yes .
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall process.
Once the uninstall process is complete, click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Control Panel window.

In the Computer window, double-click Local Disk(C:) .
In the Computer > Local Disk(C:) window, double-click the Programs Files (x86) folder.
In the Computer > Local Disk(C:) > Programs Files (x86) window, click to highlight the AccuWeather.com Cirrus folder.
With the AccuWeather.com Cirrus folder highlighted, on the menu bar, click Organize .
On the Organize menu, click Delete .
In the Computer > Local Disk(C:) > Programs Files (x86) window, click the X in the upper-right corner to close the window.
Restart the computer. NOTE: At this point the AccuWeather software has been completely removed.
Download and install the accuweather.com-cirrus-1.0.1.air software.

Should I get the 13in MacBook Air or the 13in MacBook Pro(non retina)

I will be starting college soon and need a computer that will serve as my main and only computer but I also want good mobility as I travel a lot and also want to take it to class everyday also I plan on starting price for both so no upgrades. I like the MacBook Air for its mobility and longer battery life, but it only comes with 128 GB, while the MacBook Pro comes with 500 GB hard drive and also can take disks. Its 128 GB enough for the average user? Also can you guys tell my what other advantages each computer has over the other thanks

defenatly get the 13 inch macbook air,It is super light and it's battery life is some what ok,but if you are concerned on storage space you can always buy an external device they will save you a ton of money in the long run.You always have the option of buying an external optical disk to.The best part of the Macbook air is it's flash storage its 9 times faster storage transfer than the non retina macbook pro.The macbook pros with retina display do not have a cd drive ether.I have the macbook air 13 inch and its great 2 years old and works and looks like its brand new [except for the battery life].

Napoleon Total War Error 403 Macbook Air

I've been downloading Napoleon Total War for my Macbook Air and the last few times I have recieved a 403 forbidden error. It has not completed download, and is not in my application folder so Feral's answer to several other users will not work for me.
