Getting error message on iPad. CSong:Sequence. Illegal block size

Was working on a song and got booted out on my iPad. When I restarted garage band an error message came up
CSong:Sequence-illegal block size. I have restarted my iPad and synced it. I have made several songs in the past with no problem.

I dont know why this error appears but one use in another forum has had the same problem. After windows reinstallation everything was great.
Well, Im not sure if the OS reinstallation on your notebook will solve the problems but you can try it.
By the way: did you test several CDs. Many CD brands are not compatible with the drives and you should check if the same happens with different CD brands.

To get rid of the message and use your iPad normally again:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

When pushing files between my macs I get error messages and a file zero k in size

When trying to push a copy of a file from one mac to another I get a dialog window to re enter my password after I've already connected to the drive. Then it pops up the dilog box telling me that there's already a file with that name and do I want to stop, replace or keep both. If I stop there will be a zero kb file with the original files name. If I replace and error dialog come up saying there's arleady a file with that name, once again there's a zero kb file on the drive with the origianl files name. If I choose keep both I get THOUSANDS of zero kb file with the original files name_1....2...3. Until I force quit finder. I didnt have this issue with my older machines. Any help with this issue would be very appreciated!

You may have a backup that is causing this problem, but I would start with something very simple. Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Hi mike,
Seems like a frustrating problem! Try restarting your device, and trying again. If that doesn't work, in settings, under store, tap your apple id at the bottom of the page, and then sign out. Sign back in again, and try again.
Also, check you have enough remaining space on your iPad for the app you want to download, you can do this in settings, then general, then usage.
I also reccomend buying the app in iTunes on your computer, and then syncing it to your device.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I recently did the latest update, and then I charged my Ipad 2 afterwards. I went to use my Ipad 2 days later, and it would not even turn on. Then after a couple minutes, the apple logo appeared as if it were loading. It continued to do this for a few minutes, and then the screen starting turning on and off. Then 5 minutes after that, my lock screen appeard and froze. Then it shut itself off again. I tried plugging my ipad into Itunes to do the recovery restore, but I kept getting error messages.

Some things to try in this order:
1) Make sure you designated the correct folders for music, etc.
2) Press and Hold the Home and Power buttons on the iPad until the Apple Logo appears, about 10 seconds.
3) Make sure all antivirus and firewalls are off.
4) Delete and reinstall itunes. (Back up the itunes folder first.)

If you want, you could also use Hiren's BootCD to make a bootable CD with many options and programs on it (I keep one, just for certain situations) that will allow you to do the same things.

Are you getting a specific message? An error code number? Can you describe exactly what you are doing when you get the message?
