Getting "error reading settings" with the service profile manager in Lion server OS. Why and what can I do to solve problem?
I have also had the 'Error reading settings' problem in Profile Manager, despite trying everything in the discussions and clean reinstalls (which work for a little while only).
It seems that various different fixes work for some people but not others; and the underlying cause of the problem has not been resolved.

Photoshop and Illustrator updates fail using Adobe Application Manager, why and what can I do?
In the Adobe Application Manager, it says there are updates for both Photoshop and Illustrator. When I click to update, they both downloaded and attempted to install and in the middle of this process, Application Manager shows that the updates fail. After this, upon restart of my Mac–running Lion–Illustrator shows that it's up to date in the Application Manager and Photoshop shows an update is available. Upon trying to re-update Photoshop again, the update fails again and again.
I have updated before a few days ago with no problem, so I don't understand why the updates are failing and why after doing so, now Illustrator shows that it is up to date and Photoshop does not.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, does anyone know why and what I can do about it?

These would be my suggestions:
Create a new user account with administrative rights, log out of your current account and into that one, launch Adobe Application Manager and attempt the Photoshop update again.

If this fails, uninstall Photoshop (Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers) and reinstall Photoshop then from Adobe Application Manager the attempt the Photoshop update again, also from the newly created user account.

Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.

Every time I try to upload a video to youtube or a pictures to a blog service, such as tumblr, I am unable to do so with the default uploading options (usually something that allows multiple uploads, etc). Instead, I can upload these media using their "basic upload" functions. Why and what can be done?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

When trying to burn a cd I get "recording not found". Why and what can I do to change this. I do have Windows Media player loaded tried to to burn on that also but did not work.

In IOS7 none of my YouTube movies show up on my site build with iWeb and its YouTube widget. On an iPad running IOS6 the site still works fine, and all movies play well. What is going on,and what can I do to solve this problem ???

What is wrong with my shipping address? I want to order pictures via apple store with iPhoto. Apple Id and payment seem ok. My current and correct shipping address appears with red letters. Why and what to do?
Maybe this is relevant: I bought iphoto from the German apple store but I now live in Italy. I have tried German credit card with German invoicing address and Italian shipping address. And I have tried Italian credit card with Italian invoicing address and Italian shipping address. what is the setting for the Print Products Store in the Advanced Tab of the iPhoto Preferences?
The country you select there has to match the billing address. And your billing address should match the country of your AppleID and credit card used with the AppleID.

That's an awfully vague question. What servers? Mail? Calendars? and what operating system are you using?
I'm going to hazard a guess that you are having trouble with your email, and that you are using a pre-Lion system such as Snow Leopard. (If this guess is incorrect you're going to have to provide more details.)
You have been using MobileMe's email settings, which sometimes continue to work for a time after migration but then get turned off. iCloud's mail server settings are different. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

I'm getting error ATV-ui1613 with netflix now every time . I can't log in. Have you had this before
All of a sudden out of nowhere. I can't sign into Netflix and its driving my family crazy. Has this happened to you and what did you do abou it.

Why do I get an error "50" when trying to download a purchase and what can be done about it?
I've been trying (over a number of evenings, days) during the last 8 weeks to download my purchase of The Amazing Spiderman movie itunes extras. It gets so far and re-starts from where it last started and if I stop it and start it I get an error "50" message saying it's an unknown error. My internet connection is functioning perfectly well as I have been able to download other items in iTunes. How can I get my purchase downloaded? Can anyone help?

Is it activated?
Is it saying "No Service"?
Unsupported SIM?
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the SIM?

It shouldn't crash just because I type in my screen saver password. But it did. I had to push the power button to shut it down and turn it back on.
Freezes happen occasionally. Hard to pinpoint a cause. I wouldn't let it worry you as they are rare. If this happens often then post back as there may be something wrong.

When I read an email and then hit "delete" key, I lose next email also. It's deleting 2 at a time instead of just the active one.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
