Getting error "Sender address invalid"

I've had the phone since release and everything has been working smoothly (and I am happy our area finally got the 3G network!), until I got a new email address.
I can receive my email fine on the phone, but when I go to reply and hit send, it tells me "Sender Address Invalid."
Does anyone know how to resolve this? Or because of my domain name, which is a Qwest email address (ends in @q.com) does Apple not like this?

My 3G started this "invalid" stuff over Christmas. Thanks for the comments on how to fix. FYI, I had to take an extra step because my email address is [email protected]
The delete restart account did not work...I tried several times. Then I entered my email address as [email protected] It still didn't work, but put me into what looked like the old iPhone pop3 setup screen. I then changed the two [email protected] addresses to [email protected] and it works fine.

New Iphone 3G bought this week.
Set it up with my Cablevision acount ([email protected]).
I can receive and read e-mails on the phone no problem whatsoever.
When I go to send them, I get a "Sender Address Invalid" option and then they just remain in the outbox.
Any ideas? I know there's the disclaimer that Cablevision mail only works with certain connectivity (edge? 3G? Not sure).
Any advice or tips?

This error indicates that either an email address is incorrect or your settings aren't correct for your current connection. Make sure the email address is correct for messages in the Outbox or try a different port:
If you're on a Wi-Fi network connected to the same network as your email domain, such as your Cable or DSL provider, try port 25:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap your email account, then tap Account.
Scroll down and tap Outgoing Mail Server.
Tap Primary Server, then tap Server Port.
Delete the current port and enter 25.
Tap Done.
Now my iPhone5s is frozen in the "verifying" mode. I can not stop it???????????????

Cannot send e-mail - "The sender address invalid" error message

Today I keep getting this error message "The sender address is invalid - when i try to send e-mail. I checked my settings and they are the same as always - my e-mail address hasn't changed; the outgoing and incoming server information is the same. I went through the Troubleshooting steps and still nothing. Also it's taking a really long time to connect to check for incoming e-mails. Any clues on why this is happening or what I should try next? The e-mail is via Roadrunner does that matter (althoug it didn't a couple of days ago)

This message means that your outgoing email server is not letting you connect to send email. Maybe RR changed their policy. You should be able to send using home WiFi, but when using 3G RR will not allow connections from outside their network.
One easy way around this, is to use the built-in AT&T SMTP server for outgoing email.
Or, check the RR FAQs and see if they allow an authenticated account to send email - maybe you just need to add SSL and username/pwd on the RR outgoing email server settings.
BTW - this is asked almost daily - the "Search Discussions" box to your right would have given you many hits with the same answer.

IPhone 3G cannot send mail - Sender address invalid

I can receive email but cannot send it. The error message is "CANNOT SEND MAIL the sender address was invalid". I have turned off Wi-Fi and as well as SSL. Does anyone know a fix?

Was it working before?
Verify that the ISP you are using is not blocking SMTP port 25. If so, try switching your Outgoing SMTP server to cwmx.com (AT&T SMTP server). This option will only send mail over 3G or EDGE.

if you are using a key and download form same area of the license ports you may just have a corrupt down load you can try to download again, or if you burnt the disk try buring a new copy at a slower speed. otherwise you should call your Microsoft licensing
professional to make sure the order went through as expected and you are downloading the proper image.
I don't think you can buy a 2008 r2 license anymore so I also assume you purchased 2012 r2 licensing and are you using a 2008 r2 key? the 2012 r2 key will not work with downgraded OS you need to get the key that matches the os from the licensing portal.

As I mentioned above below is the code which prints the address on PO,but for some PO country name is coming on PO and for some PO the country name is not coming. there is no variable or field between ADDRESS and ENDADDRESS which holds country name.one thing I found that if FROMCOUNTRY and COUNTRY keys are same then it won't print country name but I check that one PO where both are different though it is not printing country name and for other PO both counties keys are differnt for this country name is printing.
case1:country keys( ex: FROMCOUNTRY= CH and COUNTRY = IT ) are different,case2 : country keys are same .For case two I added the perform works fine see at the last of code.
the problem is CASE1 where if I code it will print country name two times ( one because of code and other automaticallyfor some PO and one time for some PO.if I donot code it does not at all print the country name for some PO.
My question :Is there any configuration or something based on the country key which is maintained in SAP,so whenever it calls this ADDRESS ENDADDRESS it checks and print country name?

Mailing Invoice through output type - Getting Error "No address exists"

Hi Experts,
I am trying to mail the invoice using out put type. I am using the standard out put type MAIL, Print program RSNASTSO and routine SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF_VX for external send 5 and using SP partner type. I maintained email address in Customer master. When I am assigning output type to send mail its failing and am getting an error as following.

Random users getting errors sending emails with instant bounce backs

I have recently had a fair amount of my users have issues sending emails to internal or external email accounts. When they hit send they get a NDR immediately with the Error 0x80004005-00000000-00000000. It does not matter if there is 1 user
the message is being sent to or many users this is not discriminating in that respect.
I have found a couple of fixes that seem to solve the problem, some permanent and some it is only temporary. If I repair the account in Outlook it fixes the problem, some I have to remove the account and add it back in while deleting the ost file.
Others I have to do the above and remove cached mode.
What is causing this issue? I suspect that it was and update but I cannot be sure and it all started the same day this week. We are using Outlook 2013 client and with Exchange 2010 servers. I have checked the logs on the server and there
is nothing glaring. I have done searches and the results do not give a cause, just the fixes which I have tried. Has anyone seen this before and found the source of the problem?

Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 introduce new named properties. When used, these may be added to the named properties table of the Exchange Server database. Each Exchange database's named properties table has a limit and a new message with additional
named properties has caused the quota to be exceeded.
A workaround on Outlook is to remove any additional mailboxes or shared mailboxes from Outlook.

Reinstalling Acrobat X Standard and get error 1327. Invalid Drive:K:/

I am trying to reinstall our licensed copy of Acrobat X Standard and get the error (above). The license is for an individual product and we are installing it on a workstation. The K drive allows this computer access to software and documents stored on our peer server. Anyone out there able to give advice?

Cannot Send Mail Sender Address Invalid

when replying to an email, I receive this message. It is a POP3 account. I've experienced this in the iPod touch and reset the touch, it worked. Tried the same in the iPad, no luck. I've checked and rechecked that the smtp address is correct. I can receive but not send..help

I called and spoke with Apple at Apple Care.
Reset your iPad by holding the home key and power button simultaneously, wait for it to reset then, go to:
Settings>Mail,Contact,Calendars>select your email acct.>Advanced>Authentication>Password
Also under the Advanced, make sure "Use SSL" is turned on
Mine has worked perfect since Sunday morning.

Another "Sender Address Invalid"

I have a few email contacts that intermittently will not send and some just will not send. And some take a variable amount of time to send, from a couple hours to a few days. Then they just magically take off. Often I hear them go in the middle of the night. In all cases it's way too late for my clients to receive.
Here's my home office set up: Comcast cable with wifi setup. All mac networked and an AT&T tower less then a mile away in direct sight of my office window. All my email accounts are POP.
Everything was working fine for about 6 months. Never missed sending or receiving an email on the iPhone except an occasional delay when traveling which is understandable. Mail has always worked fine on all our Macs. I've also tried turning off the wifi on the phone and just sending through At&t still no go.
Going back and checking the settings in the mac mail prefs compared to instructions on comcasts site, they did change the port from 25 to 587 although all our macs were still working fine on port 25. I still don't use SSL, comcast didn't mention check it so I kept it unchecked. I did change the port to 587 and it too works fine on the macs but...I deleted all my mail accounts on the iPhone then resynced all mail accounts with iTunes and checked replace mail info on the iPhone. Went into the iPhone mail settings and all the new info transfered correctly but....
Still the same problem with the same troubled accounts.

If you have a wireless network at home that your iPhone is connected to for internet access, it doesn't matter where the nearest AT&T tower is located in regards to recieving and sending mail or for internet access.
Comcast does not have an authenticated SMTP server - the ISPs that provide an authenticated SMTP server are few and far between. This is why you can't send messages with a Comcast email account when connected to the internet via AT&T's cellular network, but you shouldn't have problems sending with a Comcast email account when connected to the internet with Comcast - such as when connected to your wireless network at home with Comcast being used as the ISP for the internet connection.
Have you tried deleting and manually creating the account or accounts on your iPhone instead of transferring the account settings from your Mac via the iTunes sync process?

Acrobat Reader 11.0 on Win 7 Ultm 64-bit - error "Attempt access invalid address"

After upgrading Acrobat Reader to vers 11.0 on Win 7 Ultm 64-bit - get error "Attempt access invalid address" when try opening any .pdf file. PDF Converter Pro (Nuance) has no problem opening any .pdf file. I have uninstalled & reinstalled Reader several timeswith the same results. Any ideas?

Are you using EMET Antivirus? I have seen the issue caused due to this. Try disabling it and check.
I have seen this issue fixed for some users by modifying the following registry key:
The key is "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" MoveImages
Set the key to 1 instead of 0 then reboot the machine.
In case you still face the issue try the following registry key change:
The only thing you have to do is rename the following key at the REGEDIT, and everything will be fine !!
BEFORE:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe
AFTER:

Unsent message with Invalid Sender Address: NOT in OUTBOX!

I have an unsent email that is stuck "somewhere", the result of accidentally entering the incorrect email address when modifying a mobileMe account. When it tries to send, I used to get "Sender Address Invalid". But there are no messages left in the Outbox to delete.
So now at the bottom center of the MAIL screen it says "1 Unsent Message". And every so often it'll try sending it ("Sending 1 of 1). But then it'll just stop -- with no messages.
Restarting the iPhone doesn't clear it out.
Where is this message sitting? And how does one zap it?

One thing that might help out.
Go to settings > mail, contacts, calendars > your mail account.
Then tap on smtp to view all your servers.
Make sure your primary server is on.
Then go through and turn on all your secondary servers.
Go back into mail and see if you have an outbox with an unsent message.
