Getting error trying to query db through HS connection
I am trying to set up a new heterogenous services connection to mimic one on a 10gr2 server. I went through all the trouble of setting everything up, including listener and found out I had to use DG4ODBC instead on 11.2 as they had axed the 10.2 program. So here's my configuration:

So I saw the error just after I posted. My DB_HOME as listed in the Listener is wrong. It's pointing to my ASM home. Fixed that and now connection works! Hurray!

When I try to update my iPad 3 4g to iOS 5.1.1, i keep getting error trying to find software update, I've tried several things already, but nothing seems to work.
Perhaps, iTunes can't communicate with the Apple uodate servers. Temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software would help. Take a look at this.

Get error trying to install Unmult on AECC 13.2
When I try to copy or move the Unmult effect into either the AE effects folder or the Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore folder, I get error code 0x80004005.
I tried using both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions and both gave me the same error code. I have a 64-bit system FWIW.

Getting error message on hp c4280 All in One printer when scanning. "USB not connected". Have gone through everything on HP help but reinstall of drivers. We have never been able to scan. Printing and copying are fine and have never been an issue. Can anyone help please?

Error trying to install software through software center Config Man 2012 sp1
We are getting this error when trying to install a simple MSI package setup as an application on Config manager 2012 sp1.

I noticed in the CITaskMgr.log file the following.

I have verified that my clients IP address is in a boundary and belongs to a boundary group that has a DP assigned.
In CAS.log we have The number of discovered DPs(including Branch DP and Multicast) is 0
We have 2 DP's setup.

I am not sure exactly what you mean but let me try to explain the best I can.
We have a Boundary Group named Our Boundary Group.
In this Boundary Group we have a number of Boundaries defined.
One boundary encompasses the IP address of my machine which I am trying to install software too.
This used to work before we created a new DP to service HTTPS requests (for macs and mobiles) and changed our regular DP back to http. So we have 2 DP's as mentioned. One for https and one for http.
Under the servers and site system roles and looking at the distribution point properties, I can see our boundary group listed.
Is there another way I can test to see if the distribution point is working properly? Is there a URL that should work that I can try? What log file would I look at to see if the distribution point is having problems?
Under the monitoring and system status, the distribution point shows up as working (green check mark)
Any guidance would be appreciated.

1. Log in as root.
2. Disable SELinux from the top menu bar at System | Administration | Security Level & Firewall
3. Attach the RHEL load DVD either from the DVD drive or by attaching the iso.
4. Open a terminal.
a. # mkdir /srv/RHEL5_8
b. # cp -rpf /media/RHEL_5.8\ x86_64\ DVD/Server/* /srv/RHEL5_8
/* this takes a while. be patient. */
c. # cp /media/RHEL_5.8\ x86_64\ DVD/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release /srv
/* Remember to eject the DVD, otherwise the system will try to reload RHEL at the next reboot */
5. Create “/etc/yum.repos.d/RHEL_5_8.repo” with the following contents:

6. Verify it works
a. # yum update
b. should be no errors
7. Update RHEL where <package name> is the name of the desired package.
a. # yum install <package name>
Before CPO can be installed, RHEL must have several packages added. See separate instructions for creating a local update repository on RHEL, then install the packages below.

Getting error trying to log into iTunes account
When trying to sign in iTunes account on sons iMac I get an unknown error in "red" I now the password works as it is mine and works on all
my other devices. I am able to access the Mac app store with his logon and I am able to access iTunes with my logon on the iMac. The picure below is the message I get. Any help?

I am encountering the following error when I try to activate AWS HANA through SAP CAL
"We are sorry, we cannot provide you with the solution due to the results of an export control check"
There seems to be a solution floating around but I can't seem to find the details.

Getting errors trying to burn a CD Error 4280
Hi,
I hope someone can help me.
I have never had issues before but in the last few days it has been HORRIBLE.
I have brand new CDs to burn to and sometimes I get an error to insert a blank disc(how can it not be it is brand new)
Other times I try to burn a disc and get:
"the attempt to burn a disc failed an unknown error occured(4280)
I have deauthorized and reauthorized my PC. Some of the songs I am burning are ones I loaded from a CD that I had burned one before with NO problems.
I have wasted at least 10 CDs in the last few days trying to get this to work.
I have checked EVERYWHERE for a list of Error Code numbers but I can find it anywhere.
It will check playlist then start to "write" a song and it stops.
ANY help would be appreciated I am seriously losing my mind!!
I made sure I had the latest version of ITunes and upgraded last night.
I was able to burn one this AM and then the next one the errors happened again.

It is not when I did the diagnostic to figure out my drive I get this(and I have tried burning as low as 4X
The last failed audio CD burn had error code 4280(0x000010b8). It happened on drive F: PHILIPS CDD4851 CD-R/RW on CDR media at speed 8X.
Is there ANYONE that can help or at least point me in the correct direction
