Getting error when attempting to sync with iPhoto

I just purchased a new iPod Classic, when I tried to sync with iPhoto I get the error message "Unknown Error -50" or something close to this, I'm sure the error number is -50. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is? iPhoto works fine.

OK, I've figured out what is happening. After researching the XML file information available on the web, I found out that iPhoto doesn't actually use this file. It simply creates the XML file for other programs to use (like iTunes). The bottom line here is that I would run the xmllint utility, test that iPhoto still works (causing the bad data to be put back) and then running iTunes, at this time it still failed because iPhoto had updated the XML file with the bad data.
Running xmllint and fixing the line that it pointed out and then running iTunes allowed me to sync my photos to my iPod. For me it's a bad comment there was some unprintable character in the file that was causing the problem. The xmllint utility correctly identified the bad line and bbedit let me fix the issue (there is a bbedit setting that shows invisible characters). I haven't run iPhoto and attempted to fix the bad comment yet, I'll report on my efforts later.

Getting error when attempting to import jpegs into Premiere Elements

When attempting a sync with my iPod Touch gen 5 I get this error "The iPod "****" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start." I could not find the backup file to delete per researched support recommendation. I have synced this iPod.

HELP! My IPod connects with iTunes, but as it tries to sync, it gets stuck, and I get an error message that states "Could not sync, the required file could not be found." I have reset my ipod, and updated both my iPod software and my iTunes. I also tried copying and pasting some code into notepad, as suggested ont he Apple support website. Can anyone help?

A user named Benxine found a fix that worked for me after failing with all the others:
IF your computer has an old cydia app called Wi-Fi Sync (you'll recognize it on your toolbar as a black silhouette of an iphone that NEVER goes away), then this is probably your main culprit. Simple fix.
1. Goto your hard drive in the finder
2. Goto Library
3. Goto Launch Daemons
4. Throw this in the trash: com.ghughes.wifisync.root.plist
5. Goto Library
6. Goto Application Support
7. Throw this in the trash: Wi-Fi Sync (it's an entire folder).
8. Restart.

The e-mail address in my efax profile is my eprint address.
My eprint works just fine, tested it quite often.
when ever i key in my free efax number and PIN for the syncro, it does not work.

PS. I have to add that HP should think the efax thing carefully through as it was not easy to set up.

Although with the eFax free account you will need to sign up through the front panel of the printer, you can also view your free account at eFax.com by signing in with your phone number and pin number.
Under the Update Account, then Preferences section, your HP ePrint email address should be the only email address that is in Receive Email Addresses. Send Email Addresses will be blank if everything is correct.
If other emails are in the Receive Email Addresses field with the HP ePrint email, fax jobs will fail because ePrint jobs (which is what eFax relies on to print eFaxes) can only be sent to the HP ePrint address or ePrint jobs could fail.

-50 Error When Attempting to Sync

Hey all,
I've seen a few -50 error threads around, but they aren't very specific about the problem, or don't involve my problem. I'll be as specific as I can.
I receive the "The iPod cannot be updated. Unknown Error (-50)" message whenever I try to resync the iPod for a second time. The iPod syncs properly the -first- time, but any subsequent manual attemps to sync fail.
It does this whenever I do -anything-. Name change, remove files, add files (pictures, video, music). It applies too all types of legitimate filetypes read by the iPod (MP3, MP4, JPG).
The only way to get around it is to eject the drive, disconnect the cable, then reconnect the cable. But if I do that, it still won't -automatically- sync, I have to start iTunes (even though I have it set to start iTunes on dock).
I haven't tried anything yet, besides reinstalling iTunes. This is a problem that has followed me -from- iTunes 6.
I'm also fairly positive it has nothing to do with the iPod in question, because it is brand new. I received a replacement within the last two months (and that's how long I've had this problem).

I would try trashing the iPhoto Photo cache to the trash because it may be corrupt and see if that helps. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the Apple support document below. Hope it helps.

IPhone 5 and iPad 4 error when trying to sync with iTunes

Have a em that I just can't find an answer to online so hopefully someone can help. the story so far,
New Windows 8 laptop, everything installed and working well, 3 days later it would not boot so had to do a system refresh, after having to then reinstall ALL myprograms again it was all working except for iTunes (which was working before the refresh).
I plug either the iPhone 5 or iPad 4 initunes detects and tries to connect, after about 5 mins I get the following error;
"iTunes was unable to load class information from Sync Services. Recconnect or try again later".
I click OK then click on my device in the top right and again after 5-10 it displays the normal front end screen. I then click on sync (bottom right)and I get the "waiting for sync to start" top middle as per normal. After another 5-10 mins t hangs at syncing 3 of 6 and I get the following message;
"iTunes could not back up the iPad ******** because a session could not be started with the iPad"
I think it has something to do with the refresh and had I know trefresh in Windows 8 was basically a reinstall of windows then I would have done a factory reinstall and started afresh.
Everything is running the latest IOS, and I have searched both messages on line and tried most of the answers tha others have had but still the problem. I can see all the Apps, Music etc in iTunes but it looks like it will not back up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated asmy last option will be to do a factory reset.
